BUCKEYE FENCE & DECK

He was on time. It looked as though he carried himself well and he obviously knew what he was doing. As far as I can remember he did things pretty well.

Never went anywhere.guy came to look.said he'd get back to us with quote..we had to call a few times..they NEVER got back to us!

The initial estimate was the smoothest part of process, but in hindsight it was not detailed enough. The start date was pretty much on time but the workmanship of the finished product was very substandard. For example, post heights varied, one fence did not keep a straight line, some of the board connections to the posts were weak, and the heights of the two fences did not match. Overall, it was not acceptable and very disappointing. There was no argument from the owner who agreed with all complaints and told crew to redo. Long story short - 1 month later, with a few different redos, the fence is now very acceptable. It still has a minor flaw or two, but as long as it remains structurally sound I will stay pleased. It took some complaints along with aspirin and antacid for each of us, but we eventully got there. It just shouldn't have been so difficult.

Buckeye's service and care for their work was very good. They were very respectful about working around my house and home. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

THE AGREED START DATE CAME AND WENT, TWO MORE WEEKS PASSED, PHONE CALLS WENT UNANSWERED. AFTER CONTACTING THE FINANCE COMPANY THAT WAS FLOATING OUR LOAN, WE WERE INFORMED THAT BUCKEYE WAS HAVING FINANCIAL PROBLEMS, AND COULD NOT PURCHASE THE MATERIALS NEEDED FOR OUR JOB AND SERVERAL OTHERS.

VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. WE PAID FOR THE DECK IN FULL. THEY BUILT IT SUCH THAT THE LOWER LEVEL HAD NO HANDRAILS OR STEP AND WAS 19" FROM THE GROUND. I HAD TO ARGUE WITH THEM TO BUILD A STEP. ALSO INCORRECTLY CHARGED US FOR AN EXTRA 10 SQ.FT

USED SOME DAMAGED BOARDS AND SAID THEY WOULD REPLACE THEM. THEY FINALLY FIXED THEM, BUT THEN WE NOTICED THEY WERE THE WRONG SIZE BOARDS. TRIED TO GET THEM TO COME BACK OUT- POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. ONE DAY WE FOUND THE BOARDS HAD BEEN REPLACED- FINALLY!

WOOD WAS DELIVERED TWO WEEKS BEFORE INSTALLATION AND THEY COULDN'T DO WHAT WAS REQUESTED. I THEN NOTICED THAT SOME OF OUR GROUND COVER DIDN'T LOOK HEALTHY- THEY HAD DUMPED CONCRETE AND COVERED IT UP WITH MULCH! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.

NEGATIVE REPORT - NEW FENCE - NOT COMPLETED AS REQUESTED. A WOOD PRIVACY FENCE WAS INSTALLED. WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 6 INCHES FROM THE GROUND. ACROSS THE BACK IT IS 1 1/2 FEET OFF THE GROUND. MEMBER DID STATE THAT THE COMPANY IS MAKING IT RIGHT.
