Excellent customer service! We called with a skylight leak, unsure if it was a flashing issue or something else. They were super patient with me during our phone calls as they attempted to problem solve the issue. Turned out, we didn’t actually have a repair needed but just needed to regulate the humidity in the house. Free (and extremely helpful) advice that helped avoid our furniture getting ruined. While we didn’t use them this time, we would definitely use them down the road for other roofing/skylight needs.

They came over, inspected and made suggestion for fix...to water coming in from roof to kitchen ceiling. Then added vent hood to roof.. While this is a simple task, they did the same for our aging parents and for free. Also had him out again (12/2018) to look at gutters and he helped us determine a way to help with overflow at gutter drains.

Great, Brad reply by email and phone call. He look at the house roof online and id where the problem was and a solution. He gave the quote to do the job. I agree for hm to do the job. This was on Friday he said he send someone out next week he sent one of his crew out and he fix the job. Brad then call and email me that the job was done and what it it took to fix. ALSO GOOD NEWS WAS HE CHARGED $50 LESS STRONGLEY RECOMEND HIM.

Brad is very professional, honest, and hard working. He did an outstanding job patching a chimney leak. He came back to fix a roof leak near the chimney, much later, and did not charge for the repair. He is very busy.

We had a small leak coming into our master bedroom on the 2nd level when it rained very hard. Brad came out and found the issue was with some shingle placement and a couple of roofing nails that were not done correctly. He was able to fix it right on the spot. He was very timely and professional, and was priced very fair for the work being done. I appreciate the great work and will definitely use him again in the future for my roofing needs.

Brad and his crew did a great job. They were thorough and professional. Brad communicates very well - the job was delayed a bit because of all the rainy weather we have had this fall, but Brad keep us informed. We are very pleased with both the look of the roof and the obvious quality. We would definitely hire again!

Brad is the best there is. He is professional, reliable, responsive, and detail-oriented. I’ve had roofs replaced before but have never worked with someone as meticulous as Brad. I also appreciated his attention towards safety. He was on site working and overseeing the project from start to finish including clean up. I am very particular about who I hire and Brad exceeded my expectations.

Bradley Builders did a good job replacing the roof on our front porch. They color-matched the existing shingles on the rest of the house and installed a metal ridge roll since we live in a historical neighborhood. They did the job while we were out of town. When we got back, everything was installed correctly and the work site was free of debris or trash. They did a great job at a fair price.

“Brad helped us out with an emergency skylight repair. A lot of water was streaming down an interior wall. Brad was very clear about the repairs we needed and how they would be done. His cost estimate was right on. The repairs were completed in under a week. Our experience was so positive that I would not hesitate to call Brad for future repairs or replacement of the sky lights or the roof.

Bradley Builders were extremely professional and did a great job. Necessary repairs were completed before the new roofing material was put in place. Everything was completed as we requested and per specifications. The employees were great to work with. Clean up was excellent. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and everyone.

We own a 2000 sq ft ranch in Westerville which needed a new roof badly. I called Brad along with 3 or 4 other contractors for estimates. Brad spent about an hour and a half with me discussing all the details that needed to be addressed. We talked about quality of materials, water drainage issues, attic ventilation, sheathing replacement, structural issues, landscape protection, cleanup and crew management. Brad was so thorough -I had rarely experienced anyone comparable and I've dealt with many contractors. It took me about a month to decide but the winning factors were a very fair price and the feeling that Brad would do my roof as he would do his own. It's hard to find that kind of dedication these days but Brad is that kind of person. Brad didn't disappoint. He was here almost the entire time the crew was working. The roof is beautiful and I could not find a single issue to complain about. The crew was polite, professional and thorough. I couldn't be happier.

Brad came out himself to see where leak might be and to honestly tell me that I was not in need of a new roof! Simple repair and very informative and helpful. He gave me his opinion on additional work to the house that may need done without trying to sell me the job for his company. After a large rain, leak continued and Brad again came out to fix a different problem, refusing to take any money. He then followed up to make sure leak was fully fixed after next large rain. This is a very trustworthy and helpful company.

We could not be more pleased with the service that Brad provided. After purchasing the home in 2016 a building engineer suggested that the roof would need replaced. Based on other reviews we contacted Brad and he came out and did a thorough inspection and was reassuring about the condition of the roof and recommended gradual replacement in sections. Brad suggested that doing a small section (the oldest section covered a small room addition) would be a good way to get a feel for working together and the quality of the work etc. We consulted him to come back in June 2018 and he provided what we thought was an estimated fair price and gave a range, acknowledging the variables that may arise. In July '18 we had the work done, Brad and the crew completed the work promptly and efficiently and there was no evidence of debris or any other mess. A new second drain was installed and the roof functions perfectly. He made recommendations about further adjustment of the gutters to prevent soil erosion. Every detail was properly attended to. So pleased with the first round, we asked for an estimate for the next section of the flat rubber roof where we had begun to experience a leak. Same drill, a good fair estimate, and we were eager to have him come back. This job took a day and a half, they were prompt, exacting, and same experience. For both jobs the work was done to our utmost satisfaction. Brad is responsive and professional, and we will be using him again to complete the final two phases of our roof replacement. We could not recommend him more highly.

The worker was very personable and helpful. He repaired the gutters on my porch and garage quickly. I would certainly recommend him!

Our main purpose for this project was gutter cleaning and maintenance because we have not done anything about it after we cut our huge silver maple in 2012. I read their ads and saw that I could have roof inspection and perhaps some minor maintenance works done at the same time because the roof is about 15 years old. I called and the owner Brad told me that I may need to wait for a few weeks, and it depends on the weather. It was fine for me. I did not expect to receive a phone call from Jeff in the early morning two days later saying that he could come now. I was not sure if it was a scam, so I tried to call Brad to verify it. After a few tries, I got hold of Brad and came to know that he texted me about this early appointment the next day after my call to my home phone which he did not know that no texting service was available. He was about to go out of town in 15 minutes for a family activity and could not come with Jeff. He told me that another customer cancelled the appointment and Jeff has been working with him for 20+ years and is reliable. I agreed and trusted his words, though still wondered why he does not fulfill the promise he put on Angie's List webpage: "Bradley Builders, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business. Owner Brad Arensberg will personally meet with you about your job to listen to your needs and explain to you the installation process and quality service his company provides." Jeff arrived and I explained to him that we haven't been cleaning the gutter for years and there's one roof spot that has bumped up at the edge near the gutter for quite a while. The rest of roof would need inspection to see if anything needs to be maintained. He started working. I took the time to work in the yard. After a while, I was curious why his motion was obviously slower than all the gutter men that we had before. Later, I heard no sound while he was quiet at the back of the garage roof for quite a while. I went to the back yard and saw him sitting at a corner on the garage roof where the roof connects to the house wall and the gutter. I asked him "Anything wrong there?" He told me he was checking. (We did a lot of house projects DIY. I wonder why it took him that long to inspect that small area.) I then told him the gutter cleaning and maintenance was our major concern. He can use the rest of the two hours to work on the roof. He then moved on to the roof of the house. After a while I saw him caulking a vent. (I did not see him removing the old caulk. Maybe it's just because I did not see it or maybe he was caulking on top of the old one. I wondered.) I asked him to clean the gutters. He told me the gutters were very clean, not a leave is in it. I was surprised to hear that because it's been 6 years that we have not done anything about it and our neighbor has a tall tree near our roof. He saw me not believing it, so he said, "I can take a picture for you." I said, "It's ok." After he returned to the spot where the garage roof was bumped up (at the edge near the gutter), I looked at the spot where he nailed. I said, it was still bumped up. He told me he has calked it, and after it's exposed to the sun, it will still come up. Then he used his foot to press on it. It eventually went flat. After he left, I recalled all these little things that I observed. I started to feel uncomfortable about what have been done. I wonder why Brad did not fulfill his promise on the webpage... I could not go up there to see how the jobs were done. Jeff was not accountable to anyone because no one oversaw his works. My past gutter guys moved much more efficiently. All of them would use a hose to flush the gutters and make sure that the water flow to the street was good. They would explain the condition to me. Jeff did not think it's necessary to wash it after I suggested it. The two hours was more than enough for him to do all these things because our roof did not have many spots that needed works. He at least should have flush it as a routine to make sure that the unseen corners of the downspouts were not clogged. It has been six years that I didn't have the gutter work done. I forgot about the purpose of the works that need to be done for gutters when Jeff was here, but recalled them later. I think it is the workers' responsibility to take care of jobs. They should not depend on the home owners to request the routine works because we may or may not be knowledgeable about the projects. After Jeff left, my mind was left with questions that made me wonder why the jobs were done the ways they were done. In the past, I would have peace of mind after the workers left, but not this time. I would say, if you want to hire this company, make sure that the owner does what he says on the webpage. I won't say that Jeff did not do a good job, but I say so because he did not do what other gutter men would do for our gutters and I can not go up to examine how the jobs were done. Perhaps it's also because he did not explain much about the condition of the gutter and the roof to show his knowledge about the jobs. I told Brad that my first concern is our gutter cleaning and maintenance, then roof. I did not see the communication was well done because Jeff came. The receipt was not a printed one that explains what works were done. In my opinion, this really is not professional enough.

Everything went well. He is very professional and hardworking. I would definitely want him to do more repairs in the future. I feel he does what is necessary and is honest.

Brad is the most thorough and knowledgable person who has ever worked on my house ! Not only was he the only one of the 3 companies we talked to who told us that the pitch of part of our roof was too low so traditional shingles would not work, he also told us that the front of our roof didn't even need replaced! He didn't just tell us that the pitch was too low, he showed us the measurement as well as the product information and then told us that he would not actually put shingles on the back of our roof because we would have problems with leaking. He was there working with his crew during the installation and I felt that my kids and I were very safe and the work was being performed correctly. Our roof hasn't leaked at all since he installed it and I'm so happy that we made the choice to hire Brad. I recommend him to everyone who asks me about roofers and will absolutely hire him for the front part of the roof when it's time!

We had Bradley Builders make repairs to get our old roof through an extra year or two, then had them install a new roof. Brad is one of the most meticulous, detail-oriented craftspeople that we’ve met, and our old Clintonville home needed careful attention! I won’t repeat all of the positives that many other reviews have already cited, but will say that we chose Bradley for our roof installation because we were totally confident in how they approached the job. By the time we had the proposal in hand, all our questions had been fully answered and we knew exactly what would be done (including free advice that we could have used even if we had chosen another roofer) and what materials would be used. Our confidence was rewarded with a great looking job, all the little details done right, and a strong belief that we won’t need to worry about our roof for years to come. I will mention one additional item. If you’ve ever had a roof replacement, a tear off right down to the boards, you know that the process generates piles of scrap: old shingles and pieces of underlay, not to mention nails all over the place. We were out of town the day that the work was completed and were downright amazed when we returned home: not even the smallest scrap was to be seen, nor was there the slightest damage to our abundant landscape plants near the house. Sure, we expected the crew to clean up after themselves, but everyone misses a few little things, right? Not these folks. We figure that was a good sign: anyone being that careful with the cleanup must have been really careful with the roof itself. Easily and highly recommended.

They were great, arrived in a timely manner, and did all the work that I wanted. I would hire them again.

Brad was able to set up an appointment in a week. He discovered that the flashing and shingles had not been properly laid. He examined layers of flashing and corrected the problems he saw. He was able to explain in layman's terms what the problems were and what was needed to fix them. He's very professional and meticulous in his work. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

I had Brad and his crew replace the roof on my house. Was so happy with how that went I had them come out and put a new roof on my garage too. Great communication, very professional, prompt and on time, and now I have 2 great roofs. I can't recommend them enough. Awesome!
