Brad, the owner of the company, responded quickly to my request for a quote. After he came out to assess the situation we agreed on the work to be performed. He described the cause of the leak and discussed his recommended solution. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and stood out as being very concerned about doing the job right the first time. His crew performed the work the following day. The old flashing was simply caulked around the edges, but the caulk was brittle and seperated from the chimney. Bradley did the job correctly by cutting grooves in the mortar and tucking the flashing into the grooves. They sealed the joint and painted the flashing the color of my choice. They did additional work that was above and beyond the estimated repair to ensure there were no leaks in the area, but did not charge me for it. I think Brad and his crew did the job the way he would do it on their own homes. I will use Bradley Builders the next time I need my roof repaired or replaced and highly recommend them.

Even though the roof was not actually involved in the problem and still is perfect, Brad came out on a Saturday and diagnosed and fixed the leaking exhaust pipe at no charge. We have used Brad's services twice and have been totally satisfied. He is an absolute professional and this was above and beyond anything I could have expected. Fantastic. First I described the problem to Bradley on the phone. Since I know nothing about roofs, he had every opportunity to upsell me, unecessarily. He chose instead to do the job that saved me the most money. Got a phone estimate ahead of time which was pretty darn close. He showed up on the day and time he said he would and completed the job exactly as he described. He offered advice for future life of my roof, and did many extras that we did not request or pay for. I really feel like he was looking out for our best interest. Best Angie's List referral ever.

Brad offered competitive pricing and was extremely thorough during every stage of the process. He took the time to explain everything in great detail. He took care of a few unexpected issues that popped up during the project and didn't charge me extra for it. Bradley Builders is an extremely professional operation and are a pleasure to work with. Brad provided a verbal estimate over the phone based upon my description of the issues. He typically works larger jobs than my one day repair job. He let me know that he would perform my repair after his current job ended. I was flexible enough with my needs and time, that this was acceptable to me. He called the evening prior, came to my house the next morning, determined the problem and made the repairs that same day. The cost was within his verbal estimate. I believe his diagnosis of the issues and subsequent repairs will solve my problem. If not, I would have no problem calling Brad back to relook.

One of the better home repair experiences I've ever had. I obtained several quotes to reapir a leaky skylight and received price quotes for a variety of services that were all over the place... Brad did what I asked with an attention to detail and professionalism that is sorely lacking in the home repair industry. I trust him completely and he will be the first one I call for any roof related work needing done in the future.

Bradley met with me on a Saturday afternoon to inspect my roof in preparation for an estimate. Bradley walked the roof and then sat down with me to go over what he had found. As this is my first roof replacement he explained in detail the entire process and answered my many questions. Bradley was patient with my questions and at no time did I feel like I was being patronized or under any pressure to sign. When I asked what type and color choice he thought would look good (I am color challenged) Bradley suggested that I visit his supplier?s showroom to pick out the type and color of shingle to use. Once I had narrowed it down he provided addresses in my area of jobs he had done with those shingles in those colors. Bradley called on July 13th to tell me that the job he had scheduled before mine had to reschedule due to an emergency and would I like the spot. He could start my job the following Tuesday. That was no problem for me so I agreed and he showed up with his crew right on time. That week turned out to be the hottest week of the year. Temperatures were in the mid nineties with heat indexes of 105 to 110 degrees. I would not have blamed him for rescheduling but he said they were all used to the heat and knew how to deal with it. Bradley and his crew were great. They started early and worked into the evening. During the install it was discovered that the second floor laundry dryer was just venting into the attic instead of outside. Bradley recommended venting the dryer out the side of the house rather than through the roof so I contacted a company I found on Angie?s List that installed dryer vents. Unfortunately due to the placement of the laundry in proximity to where the ridge of the lower level met the second level it turned out that through the roof was the only practical option. Bradley worked with the dryer vent company to accommodate their needs and even did the vent flashing to make sure it was done properly (at no additional charge). Bradley and his crew were meticulous about cleanup and I have not found a single nail or piece of roofing material anywhere around my yard. All in all I believe Bradley is a very honest and capable craftsman who takes personal pride in his work. I am extremely satisfied with the roof and the cost. I got a great roof and a great deal. I would recommend Bradley Roofing without the slightest hesitation.

He told me I should have the flashing of my roof done a certain way. When he got to working on my roof he found the wood under the rubber roofing was rotted out. He replaced that. He knew I was concerned about cost and I thought he was reasonable for the work I received. He also thought highly of Tom Littleton. When I need a new roof I will call him. He is an honest guy. He gave me a range of price in his estimate because he was unsure of the quality of wood he would find under the roof.

Bradley Builders doesn't take shortcuts. Some contractors re-use existing low quality step flashing to make the job go quicker and cheaper. Bradley Builders replaced all existing step flashing with a very high quality product. Waterproofing Shingle Underlayment was used along eaves, base of skylight and in closed valleys.Drip edge was placed along the entire perimeter, under felt at eaves and over felt at gable ends. All roof areas were covered with 15 LB felt paper. Some of the wood siding and trim had to be undercut to accommodate new step flashing. Metal counter flashing on stucco had to be cut to accommodate new step flashing. Some trim boards had to be removed and reinstalled. Our 'hat' vents were removed and sheathing replaced so new ridge venting would pull air properly. All metal was removed from the base of the chimney and wrapped with WSU. New horizontal mortar joints were cut and new counter flashing was recessed into the brick chimney, painted and re-caulked. He also replaced the metal base flashing, storm collar and cap for the furnace pipe coming through the roof. The clean-up and debris haul away was flawless. We did have a small water leak during the job due to a hidden tear in some of the felt paper at the ridge. Brad repainted the affected ceiling area and it looks fine. I cannot overstate how much this company pays attention to the detail and how much control is exercised at the job site. I have watched some other roof replacements by neighbors using other contractors and the best way to describe these is 'unorganized chaos'. And the reason for this seems to be to complete the job very quickly. I will always choose careful control and attention to detail over speed. I'm sure you will agree.

They did routine maintenance for us. The work is excellent. Everything is spotless. Another company recommended a huge repair to an area that was unnecessary. Turned out a bit of stucco patch and caulk around a door frame were what was needed. Highly recommended.

As I mentioned, Brad of Bradley Builders is the owner, the salesman (estimate and presentation),and also WORKED ON THE INSTILLATION with his employees. This project went beautifully. The team showed up the day they were scheduled with all the materials needed. Brad and his teamed worked with great experience and diligence (even with the heat index about 107 degrees...even hotter on the roof). The job was done in the estimated time and the final bill was exactly what Brad had estimated. I can say we are very happy we found Bradley Builders on Angie's List and would highly recommend them.

I have been pondering what to say about the project that Bradley Builders did on our home. I wanted to speak about how professional Brad, and his team were about the attention to details that applied to every aspect of there work. I wanted to say how I appreciated one on one's with Brad when one of those hidden problems came up. The fact that Brad was there working everyday working with his team, not just showing up in the morning to assign work then leave , as I have seen with other contractors on so many other projects. Brad always made himself available to both my wife , and me to answer questions no matter how dumb they might have been or sounded,and explain what was going to happen. The pride in craftsmanship he displayed, and his approach to the work always considering what was best, not just doing it because " that's the way it's done" impressed me greatly. He was trying to save when possible , but spend when those hidden problems, I mentioned earlier, come up. On our home he was able to come in under the agreed upon price in the end. I wanted to say that for all the unseen things which accompany all demolition/construction home projects,our decision on choosing Bradley Builders has been one of the best decisions my wife , and I have made. An now, I've realized I have just said it all. I inadvertently put the wrong name for the construction company in my initial report. I sincerely apopogize for that mistake.

Inspection was thorough. Work was good quality--repair job blends well with old roof. Although it did take a while for Brad to come out after our initial call, he stayed in touch to let us know we were still in the queue.

From the very first contact with Bradley Builders we were impressed. They were quick to respond to a message that was left earlier of the same day. They let us know up front that their schedule for the next few weeks was booked and asked whether or not we wanted to wait or look for another company to do the work on our house. Because of the glowing reports that we had read on Angie's List we said that we would rather wait and have them complete the work we needed to have done. We are so very glad that we waited. At each juncture, Brad made sure he clarified our expectations and identified what the perimeters were for him and his team. He gave very accurate estimates for the cost of the job as well as the amount of time allotted to bring closure to the tasks. The entire job took two days. At the end of each day the work site was meticulously cleaned and each facet of the work precisely completed. In addition to all the amazing components we had already noted about this company and something we considered way 'above and beyond' related to the portion of our garage that Bradley Builders made "critter proof". Our garage and home are over 80 years old. We asked to have the base of the south wall repaired, figuring that they would use a part of the new wood that they had left over from enclosing the area that was the extension, which wouldn't match but would suffice. Well, they took some of the wood from the removed extension that matched the wall perfectly and used it to finish the area. Upon viewing the wall there was no way one notice any changes in the wood (except of course what had been open was now closed). Kuddos to all of you for being folks of great integrity.

It was a beautiful job and the communication was excellent. They were very, very good. He had come out to the house and described everything he was going to do. He brought samples out to pick the shingles. He gave us houses to look at to see the colors of the shingles. He came back afterwards to make sure everything was okay for us. He even came back and cleaned the skylights in the family room where he thought they had messed them up. He was very good. We would definitely use him again.

Overall, a pretty good experience. Brad's estimate was the lowest of the several that I got, and he understood our needs and was responsive both to timeline and the substantive work that we needed. He and his crew showed up on time, worked hard, and got the job done in one day as planned. They cleaned up, didn't do any damage, and performed quality work. Brad himself was professional and he communicated well both before and during the process. He runs the kind of "small business" that we like to support - quality work at a fair price, and great customer service. We would recommend him to others and would use him again.

I waited a whole year to write this review as I wanted to allow plenty of time to see if there were going to be any problems with my new roof. This is my first home and a roof is a big expenditure when you are still paying the mortgage. In short I am very happy with the results. I originally planned to do the job myself and decided it was too hot and I would never finish it in the time allotted. I called Able and they didn't answer or even return my call. I searched on the list and found Brad. When I called he was close to finishing another job and soon to start another but he came over for an inspection within a couple of days. We walked the roof which I had partially torn off and after looking at my tarps he he suggested a better way to secure them. He even went so far as to help me remove and refasten them before we even discussed whether or not he could do the job. Due to me pressing need Brad accepted my job and postponed the start of his next one. Brad took his time to help me decide on what materials I wanted and gave me a list of homes in the area that had examples of his work. He was able to provide me with a detailed estimate for the work with the only variable being if any OSB would need to be replaced. This final cost was about $150 more than the estimate due to the replacement of 3 sheets of OSB. During the work Brad and his crew were very careful and respectful of my property. They even cleaned up the roofing materials I had originally removed and placed in the garage (and had not mentioned during the original estimate). Overall Brad and crew were extremely accommodating. They did a great job and my roof looks fantastic.

Brad Arensberg, the owner of Bradley Builders, first met with us one evening to explain his company, the roof replacement process, materials used, options, etc. and answered all of our questions. His visit included a joint walk-around our home so he could explain his findings about our particular requirements, including a few challenges related to how our original roof was installed by the house builder. He then submitted a formal proposal to us a few days later. His proposal was was well done and fair with pricing so we selected his firm over two others from whom we had also submitted proposals. He showed up exactly on time and started by sharing with us his meticulous plan for everything from where to place the dumpster to how the roof planes would be sequenced to how the previously identified challenges would be addressed to how protection of shrubs and yard cleanup would be accomplished. The actual conduct of the job was done just as meticulously as his planning and the result was outstanding. The only problem we had was that a rain storm during the job caused a minor leak in our kitchen which, in turn, stained the ceiling. We called him at night during the storm and he immediately came out with a workman, found the source of the leak, and placed tarps in our attic to prevent further intrusion. The next day he also put a fan in the attic to facilitate drying. He also accepted full responsibility for the leak and hired a painter to come in after the roof job was complete to paint our entire kitchen ceiling. That was also done perfectly. We have lived with the new roof now for over a month without a problem. We would highly recommend Bradley Builders to anyone that wants a high quality job at a fair price by a tradesman with superb integrity.

Brad was wonderful. He was professional and incredibly thorough. He inspected the chimney inside and then walked the property inspecting the roofline before getting on the roof. He had me join him on the roof and taught me all about my roof. It was very helpful. He was very honest and provided me with a written summary of his findings. I know he was honest even though it meant no work for his company to do! I did pay for the estimate and findings which I was happy to do as I can use it when selling my home.

Mr Bradley and his employees were extremely professional, courtious, on time from the estimate to the final call back to see if I was happy with work done. I had 4 other estimates and though he was the lowest I felt a sense that because he was a small business owner he would do the best job possible, go the extra step and not try to just sell me a new roof just to make his sales goals.
