Brad Arensberg was on-time & professional. He explained in detail what he would do & submitted a timely, detailed contract for the work to be done. His assistant replaced the garage roof the day before the June 29-30 storm. They worked all day in extreme heat. All the shingles were still in place after the storm.

Absolutely pleased with Bradley from his immediate response to request for estimate to completion of job. He was thorough and knowledgable while estimating labor and costs. His master of installation of rubber membrane roofing (no easy process) and his attention to detail was still evident during completion of job.

I had three contractors submit estimates for my entire roof tear off and replace, approximately 30 square. All estimates were close in price but Brad won out with his professionalism, knowledge and no pressure sales attitude. The job was completed on time, on budget, with a quality, customer driven attitude. The installers were professional, cleaned the job site at the end of everyday. At the end of the job you would not have known they were even there until you look up and see the new roof. Seriously look no further, top notch owner operated company that gets customer service.

We meet with five roofing companies for estimates and advice on replacing our roof. We narrowed the list to 3 companies who we felt had the strongest understanding of our low sloped roof including a large section of flat roof that had seen a lot of problems with leaking. I also used the job location tool on Angie?s to focus on companies that had done similar work in our area. After meeting with Brad from Bradley Builders, we felt he understood our needs and had extensive experience with projects like ours. His price was reasonable and competitive with other quotes. An important part of working with Brad on this project was the detail he provided on the scope of work and a realistic evaluation of what to expect. Brad and his team made us feel they were completely dedicated to completing our job correctly during this whole experience from the day they showed up until the last bit of, very thorough, clean up. Bradley Builders replaced the roof shingles and gutters on our home in late spring of 2012. They also installed ridge vents on our roof, installed vents for two bathroom exhaust fans, and performed other minor work related to the roofing job. Our experience with Branley Builders and owner Bradley Arensberg from start to finish was outstanding. Before we signed the contract, Mr. Arensberg met with us and explained in detail what would happen in regards to the timeline for the work, subject, of course, to potential unforeseen problems. He helped us select the kind and color of singles best suited for our home, he advised us on gutter covers, he explained the need for minor chimney repairs (which Bradley Builders does not do), and he provided referrals for masonry companies that could complete the necessary repairs. Bradley Builders started the job at the time promised (if not a little earlier as I recall). All work during the job went according to plan. There was no mess at the end of each day's work, cleanup at the end of the job was outstanding, and there was absolutely no drama at any time before, during or after the job. Moreover, we are very satisfied with the final result of our roof and gutter work. And we feel that we paid a very reasonable price for the work we received from Bradley Builders. We are very satisfied customers and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone in need of residential roof work.

I had an old roof... Brad was awesome to work and his attention to detail was excellent. He replaced bad wood where it was needed and all the shingles. The best part was he was totally low pressure and free estimate. he got up on the roof and looked at it to give me an estimate. He was there to oversee the whole project and his crew were all great hard working americans. Also he worked with the insurance company for me to get us more money on our claim. Great guy. Also he cleaned up his mess and was very professional. I would use him again for sure.

Our roof was damaged in the wind storm at the end of June. We obtained our first quote from a large local company. A salesman stopped out, checked out our roof and a few days later dropped off a detailed quote along with literature. I then contacted Bradley Builders and spoke directly with Brad the owner. Brad suggested that we schedule an appointment to meet. I was surprised when one of the first questions Brad asked us was why we thought we needed a new roof. Brad walked around our house with us and proceeded to go over everything in great detail along with options. Brad pointed out opportunities to save money where possible. Brad did point out damage to the exterior wood trim that needed to be replaced. This was not at all mentioned in our first quote. We also learned that Bradley Builders is a very small company. Brad has one job going at a time and he is at the job site 90% of the time. Brad provided several local addresses of recent work that he completed for references. Brad suggested that we consider going to the showroom of his shingle supplier to help us select our shingle type and color. We awarded the job to Brad. There was some lag time before Brad would start and he did tarp our roof to avoid water damage. Brad completed the roof work on time despite delays for rain. Everything looked great and the clean up was very thorough. Our gutters and downspouts were replaced a few weeks later. The work was completed in less than one day and also looked great. Brad kept in contact with us at every step along the way. The experience of working directly with the owner of a small company who we felt genuinely had our best interest in mind was refreshing and exceptional. If I ever have another roofing job that I need done, I will go directly to Bradley Builders and not waste time talking to anyone else.

In spite of the surprises that were found on this project, Brad and his team did a great job of installing a beautiful rubber roof that should keep water out of our house for years to come. The work done was on-time and in a professional manner. I strongly recommend Bradley Builders to anyone with a roofing project. Brad came when promised and did the work at the price quoted.

This experience was positive from start to finish. After having bad experiences with previous contractors for other services, we were dreading this project. As it turned out, the service was delivered professionally, on budget and in a timely manner. Brad began by sitting down with us to discuss the work we wanted done, providing recommendations, explaining the latest materials and their usage, and explaining the process. The "interview" was very thorough, and afterward we were confident we were purchasing the proper services - no more, no less. The crew showed up at the agreed upon time, and were respectful of our home and personal schedules. Debris was cleaned up at the end of each day, and a thorough cleanup was performed at completion of the work. We had no damage to landscaping or personal belongings. We are very pleased with the final product. Brad and his crew are hard workers who obviously care about the quality of their work and satisfaction of the customer. We would recommend Bradley Builders to anybody needing roofing work.

He was prompt and cleaned up after themselves. The leaks are fixed and we have no doubts about his quality.

There isn't anything that we didn't like about him. He was very fastidious and he wanted to do it in a particular way and we agreed with everything that he said pretty much. He seemed to do a nice job. He had some hardworking guys with him and they did a good job. He found several things that the person that actually built the house probably didn't do correctly. He explained all the things he was doing. My wife was very impressed with him and that's why we hired him. We didn't get a whole lot of prices to compare. His quality seems to be excellent. He is not as timely as we would like but I think he is just really busy. He was here when he said he would be here. I would recommend him.

Throughout, Brad and his crew were utterly professional in the best sense of the word. From the very first Brad promptly returned our phone calls, arranged for a visit, thoroughly explained what was needed in careful detail, and followed up with a clear written estimate. The work was done carefully and on schedule, and came in at the estimate. The clean up was immaculate, and Brad reviewed everything he had done to be sure it met with our satisfaction. All in all, I can't say enough about Bradley Builders -- this was by far the best home-repair experience we have had in five years of home ownership. I recommend them highly and without reservation.

Recently purchased house had a ~23-yr old shingle roof on the 2-story addition. Main house had newer roof, but had multiple small leaks around the transition flashing between the flat rubber roof and shingle sections. Had several contractors come out and give recommendations and estimates. I chose Bradley mostly because Brad Arensberg, the owner, spent the most effort evaluating the roof system and explaining the rationale for his recommended approach. HIs price was in line with other quotes i received. There were items that other contractors had insisted needed to be replaced that Brad was able to re-use, and he made no attempt to upsell me on any materials or add-ons. I appreciated his attention to detail and quality focus. He provided regular updates on his schedule, and the work was started and completed as promised. The quality of the installation was very good. Brad was onsite regularly monitoring his crew; he was particular about seeing that the work was done to his standards. I would use the company again for future projects.

Wow! The owner called me back the day I left a message. He gave me a fair estimate over the phone, and I scheduled the work. Two days later, the job was done (very well). Later that evening, the owner took the time to call me to let me know what had caused the problem (racoons nibbling on my rubber roof!) and offered suggestions on how to extend the life of the current roof as well as materials to consider when it's time to replace the roof. When that time comes, I'll be calling Bradley Builders!

It was an excellent experience. Brad came over and made a detailed analysis of what needed to be done. He explained his recommendations to me, as well as the options available. He does not do just the bare minimum, but does it the right way, which I appreciate. The work was scheduled and completed on time. The results were great and cleanup was good. I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone seeking a good roofing contractor.

I got three prices for roof replacment last fall but decided to wait until spring. I then got three new prices this spring. In general, I found there were two kinds of roofers. The 1) companies that send out a salesman and 2) companies where the owner does the marketing. In general, I found that the companies with a salesman take more of your time with a sales pitch (1-2 hours) and end up with a higher estimate - I assume part of the extra $ is to support the salesman's commission. The companies where the owner does the marketing tend to take less time with a sales pitch (they are busy people) and, in my experience, had lower estimates. Bradley Builders was among the latter. Also, Bradley Builders was among the low estimates. Brad comes across as being very particular. I assume he has been burned a few times. Up front, he is concerned with things like double checking to making sure the customer is sure about decisions regarding the work. Brad indicated that he has one crew and he works with the crew. I found this to be fairly unique among roofers. It was reassuring to me that the owner would be on site to oversee. In fact, Brad was there probably 80 - 90 % of the time. He did occasionally leave to get supplies, etc. We finalized a specific schedule about a week ahead of time. They started about 8:30 on the agreed upon date. However, they held off until about 11:00 that first day due to thunderstorms in the area. He worked with a crew of four. These days were very hot. The second day (7/6) reached 100 deg F. We kept a cooler supplied with bottled water for the crew. They stopped work about 2:00 that second day because of the heat and came back a third day (saturday) to finish the job. They started earlier (7:00 - 7:30) that third day to finish before temperatures rose, but no neighbors companied about noise. Another hardship - they worked through a period when Brad did not have electricity at home. We had power to support the compressors for nail guns but at home he did not have power. We ended up with two minor changes. Three replacement sheets of plywood were needed, installed at an agreed upon unit price. Also, an elevation discrepancy on my roof required metal valleys rather that the planned shingle valleys. Brad added the metal valleys at the cost of materials - no additional labor. I thought all of this was very fair. Also, they did some minor repairs bending and repairing a gutter that saved me the cost of replacement. The crew was maticulous about cleanup. They spent a significant amount of time that Saturday working on this. Overall, I believe that we got quality work for a competitive price.

Brad Arensberg (owner of Bradley Builders) came out to inspect the roof and provided a tutorial about roofing (materials, installation, etc). He provided a detailed estimate of labor & materials along with caveats on dealing with the insurance company. He outlined how the work would be conducted and what we'd need to prepare our site (move lawn furniture, move car out of the garage, etc.). Brad and his crew arrived as planned, completed the work according to schedule, cleaned up all debris (especially nails with a big magnet), and provided a detailed bill for all work completed. Brad is the most professional contractor I have worked with and I have had a lot of major projects done over the past 25 years. I was given an estimate that was right on. work was done as promised, and clean up was impeccable. I am so pleased with my leak free rubber roof!

Brad recently finished installing a new roof for us. We got three estimates, but it was clear during the estimating process that Brad was much more detail oriented and thorough than the others. While the other contractors emphasized how quickly they could do the job, Brad's focus was on doing it right not fast. He and his crew were punctual and professional. Brad is hands down, the best roofing choice you can make. We called 3 companies all with positive reviews on Angie's list and scheduled time for them to come out and look at the roof and quote on a replacement roof and skylights. The first company was very nice and quoted about what we expected for the new roof. Brad was second. He assessed the roof and asked lots of questions about what problems we were having. Then he said the words all homeowners in our position would love to hear..."so, why is it you think you need a new roof?" not in an arrogant way, but in a truly inquisitive, honest, helpful manner. We told him the reasons we thought it was time. He told us he was very willing to quote a roof, but he felt that with some minor repairs, ours could last another 3-5 years. He showed us pictures of our roof and told us how he would go about fixing it. He didn't pressure us one way or another and asked us to think about it and he'd call us the next week. We knew for sure we had found an honest, experienced and professional roofer and cancelled the company who was supposed to come as the third quote. Brad called right on time the next week and needless to say, we went with him. He told us when we could expect the work to be done. He gave us a recommendation for a gutter company who also did a terrific job. Brad's communication is excellent, always keeping us posted and giving us an opportunity to ask questions. Tonight we had our first powerful rain since the work was done and it was perfect. No problems with the roof or gutters. Save yourself some time and start with Bradley Builders for any roofing work you need.
