Excellent from start to finish. Very prompt, professional, polite, and honest. A great pleasure to work with. Several years ago when I purchased my home I had several roofers tell me I needed a new roof immediately. Brad was the only one who I felt treated me honestly, he gave me some pointers on what to watch for and that a new roof could wait 3 years or so. This was a huge relief and gave me time to save funds. In the interim he made one small repair, and like clockwork in about 3 years the things he told me to look for started happening. He always returned my calls promptly and patiently explained the process to me and if anything came up he was very honest and forthright. I wish all my experiences with services providers were as pleasant as my experiences with Brad. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Bradley was one of 4 builders we called out to your house in 2012 to deal with a leak. We assumed we needed a new roof at that time. The other 3 builders all gave us quotes for roofing. Bradley Arensberg told us we did not need a new roof at that time, which surprised us since the other 3 builders implied we did need one. He explained what was causing the leak, which was flashing installed when the home was built. He fixed the flashing and a few other areas that could be problems for a modest sum of $300. I was very happy with Bradley due he is sincere, honesty and has great integrity. Finally in 2014 we did have our roof replaced; and I did call Bradley Arensberg back since I knew I could trust him. He did a though inspection and explained all everything that had to be done. He also pointed out a few siding issues and how it would eventually lead to more leaks. He also pointed out that the second floor downspout was putting water out sideways to the singles which was not good as it could flow under them. He replace our roof, fixed the downspout and dealt with the siding. His team was timely, quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend Bradley Builders; He is honest, not just out to make money.

*This is a long-winded review. To summarize and save you from reading my rambling, this is a quote and summary from the end of the review. If you don't require details, this is all you need to know: "I could go on but this is already too long! In short, the work was top notch and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! I highly recommend Bradley Builders. If you need roof work, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not at least have a conversation with Brad." I cannot speak highly enough of Brad and the quality of work provided. I sing his praises whenever an opportunity arises. First, I must admit that I am extremely cautious and skeptical when having any sort of work performed for me. I am fairly handy and am used to repairing many things on my own if I am able. Roofing is well outside of my comfort zone and consequently, I did a lot of research and got 5 quotes for this job before choosing Bradley Builders. Brad's professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail earned my business over 4 other highly rated Angie's List contractors. I was fairly comfortable with one other business but Brad caught some things that everyone else missed and was less expensive then my second choice. For the record, I put off writing this review in large part because I wanted to give winter weather a chance to prove the soundness and quality of the work provided. I was already confident but at this point there can be no doubt. Last winter we discovered a couple of leaks brought to light by all of the freezing and thawing that occurred. I immediately joined Angie's List in order to help narrow down my choices. After several quotes I thought I had made a decision, then I noticed Bradley Builders. They had no negative marks of any consequence. A conversation with Brad revealed they were a smaller operation that (unlike everyone else) didn't attempt to run many jobs at once with an assortment of foremen that you don't even meet until after a contract is signed. Brad runs things himself and knows his stuff. Brad came out and evaluated the situation. He made me aware of every issue that he saw and every potential problem that we might encounter on an old house such as ours (1916). His estimate was in line with others and cheaper than some but I feel like I may have encountered more incidentals/surprises with some other businesses. Brad provided references/examples of both work and shingle type and color for us to evaluate. He identified a circulation issue and was able to explain and remedy the problem simply and economically. I worked from home for a couple of days while Brad and the crew were doing the job. He brought me up on the roof a number of times to show me what was being done and explain any issue that came up. Problems were few but I had made it clear that I was interested and curious. I like to understand how things work and he accommodated me and really earned my trust and respect. At one point, part of the roof had to be opened. He confirmed my suspicion that there was no insulation in that area and helped me arrange for that to be taken care of by another contractor. I could go on but this is probably already too long! In short, the work was top notch and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! I highly recommend Bradley Builders. If you need roof work, you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not at least have a conversation with Brad.

Excellent. The owner showed up to provide the estimate. He was very professional and suggested improvements such as replacing roof vents with a ridge vent, moving the sewer vent that was obviously in the wrong location and was a risk to water damage. He pointed out things that really made sense. The other roofing company did not point out the problems and was more expensive. I believe I got a good deal and value for my money. The owner was honest that he had a number of jobs before he could start, but actually beat his estimated start date by a week. He and his team finished the job early and did a great job. The owner was on site often and participated in some of the work activities and over site. I really believe the owner cares about providing a good service at a good value and takes pride in his workmanship. I would recommend his roofing services.

Mr. Arensburg is very knowledgeable. He wants to ensure his customers understand what he will do and what he will do only so they are not surprised when the work is completed. Mr. Arensburg has had many years of experience and it is apparent when you have your consultation. If you are impatient, you may want to prepare for a lengthy discussion. He came to our home and did a thorough, visual inspection. He explained, several times, the importance of properly flashing the chimney, to avoid issues down the road. He explained, several times, that he only does roofing and not other services because it's important to him to do one thing and do it well. He stayed in contact with us throughout the process, he brought examples of shingles to our door for us to look at and choose from. He provided name brands of quality shingle manufacturers that he prefers to work with. He re-routed our bathroom fans to vent out the roof vs in the attic, and he explained, several times, that he's not an electrician, therefore if more detailed, electrical work needed done, he would ask that we provide an electrician. It turns out we needed simple electrical work done to hook up and revent the fans, that was fine. Mr. Arensburg will let you know of other problems/issues, only b/c he can see the big picture and wants to alert the customers that issues could arise if they don't take care of them. I felt a little like he was talking more to my husband, about the work, than myself - even though I'm the one that might know more about it - but it's probably just a generational thing. He's very precise and detailed and the work was excellent. The team kept the property tidy and even asked us to warn our neighbors about possible, roof debris. This was not an issue. I would recommend Bradley Builders- the price was almost exactly what I thought it would be, but it's not cheap, so if you're looking for cheap, easy and fast, look somewhere else. I am glad we chose Bradley Builders for our roofing needs. I have a sense of relief knowing the job was done right, the first time.

It was not really good at all. We had some problems. He first came out and took care of the problem. Probably about two or three months later, we have the same problem again. He came back out and talked with my husband about it. It just didn't work out. There were no extra charges. We just decided not to use him and got another company. He was punctual.

Brad was the only roofer (out of three) that realized we needed a rubber roof on a very flat surface of the roof. He also went above and beyond to work with an electrician so that we could have a fan installed in our upstairs shower. This could only be done when the roof was off and he made it so easy! Brad knows his code and he knows roofs. The roof looks great and the workers were very nice. In fact, Brad was at our home for most of the installation. He makes sure everything is going exactly as it should.

We called Brad about 3 years ago to get a quote on a new roof. We had a leak in a sunroom and per the home inspection report from when we purchased the home, we figured we were due to have it replaced. 1st and 2nd companies gladly gave us a quote on a new roof. Then Brad came out. After much inspection and consideration, he came in and sat down with us and asked us why we thought we needed a roof. We told him why, and he said after some minor repair he thought we would be fine for another 3 years or so. We were impressed with his integrity! Obviously we were thrilled to put off that expense for 3 years! His repairs were solid and we never had another problem. But after the 3 years went by, we knew it was time to look at it again, we only called Brad. We had total confidence in his skill and his integrity. He agreed to come out and look at it again and agreed this time, it was time to replace. He gave a quote, and we feel from the quotes we received in the past, that his price was very fair, even though he knew he was the only person quoting. After we accepted his proposal, we started working on color choice. Multiple times he dropped off samples so we would be able to make a solid decision. He gave us local addresses for all colors we picked so we could see it on a full roof and not have to try to envision it from a small sample. That also goes to show how many roofs he does if he can take any color and give us several addresses in a few mile radius! Brad was very clear about what we could expect in terms of timelines and plans for the work to be performed. If there's any criticism of his work, it would be that he's VERY clear and detailed. He also prefers to talk on the phone so he can express all of the intricacy of the work being done I have limited ability to handle lots of detail. I'm also an e-mail or text lover, so the detailed verbal communication was difficult for me. However, he does it purely out of a desire to make sure he's sharing all of the necessary information and there are no surprises. He delivered exactly what he quoted, in the timeframe he gave. His professionalism and skill is top notch! It really isn't as simple as throwing on new shingles. He is a true craftsman and handmade some pieces where the roof met in awkward angles to make sure it would be protected. Because there was rain through the week, they worked almost all Saturday to get the job done. Their cleanliness was impeccable! I saw them cleaning up all the time and looking on the ground for anything that might have dropped. At one point, I was driving home and swear I saw him blowing our leaves from the sidewalk!! Wow! I would recommend Brad to anyone with the highest confidence! You can't go wrong with Bradley Builders. Buy a roof from someone you trust!

The entire process from quote to installation was flawless. Brad was punctual, thorough and extremely conscientious about providing a quality job. He communicated very clearly about what to expect and then delivered. We were very pleased with choosing Bradley Builders and would recommend him to others as well.

I had a water leak somewhere around my chimney and decided to contact Bradley Builders to look at the damage and provide an estimate on a new roof. Brad took time to evaluate thoroughly the condition of the current roof and ventilation and clearly explained my options. It was clear almost instantly that Brad cared about my house as he would his own. He explained my cool air ventilation had some shortcomings and my bathroom vents were not installed properly and we agreed on installing ridge venting and a continuous soffit venting system. He gave me several examples of roofs he had installed so I could evaluate shingle colors. Once he started the job Brad was on the job each day with his crew to ensure the quality of the work. To ensure water would not leak around the chimney he did additional work that I was not expecting, including removing siding to re-flash the area and caulking gaps in the siding where water could possibly have infiltrated. He clearly wanted to make sure water would not be a problem once he was done. He also found loose gutters due to poor installation and broken brackets, which he repaired with correct hardware. The job was complicated by lots of roten wood, but despite replacing many sheets of plywood Brad kept the cost very close to the original estimate. When done the area around the house was thoroughly cleaned of debris and the crew even removed the leaves from the patio and driveway. In the end the roof looks perfect and I feel confident that the work was done correctly. Brad went above and beyond my expectations by addressing issues that didn't even pertain to the roof and by staying close to the estimate despite replacing numerous sheets of plywood. I recommend Bradley to any one looking for the best quality work, excellent communication, and fair treatment.

This small business owner, Brad, was incredibly helpful and informative about the process and details needed to best replace our old roof. We had multiple estimates and his was very similar in price to others. But he was more specific on why we may need to have some decking replaced and how that may impact the cost. We appreciated knowing up front what we might expect as we had water damage inside. We also appreciated that he was on site every day monitoring and working with his crew on our roof. He doesn't run multiple projects at one time and takes great pride in being efficient and providing top quality service and product. The workers were hard-working, professional, and respectful. They cleaned up daily and didn't leave anything laying around that might create a safety issue for our family. They completed the project in a timely fashion, too! We got a new roof and interesting lessons in the value of a functional roof as an added bonus! We would recommend Bradley Builders to any of our friends or neighbors in need of roof repair or replacement!

Brad arrived exactly on time and began working as soon as he had time to look both inside and outside of the house to understand what the problem was and what to repair. Brad spent the day with doing various different areas of correction on the roof. When he was done, Brad came down and explained exactly what should have been done by the builders when the house was built and how he corrected these issues. I am confident that we will not have leaking inside the house any longer and would definitely recommend Brad to anyone. He knows what needs to be done and doesn't waste any time but gets right to work.

It went great. Brad is detailed and thorough. He does the job the right way and will not cut corners. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up the work site when they were done. I would use them again.

So far it looks perfect. Brad was a pleasure to talk to. He took the time to discuss my roofing problem in detail over the phone and explore all the options available ( repairing the roof vs replacing ). I felt what he charged was very reasonable, more so than the other contractors that I had talked to. Brad was willing to save me money by making repairs and therefore extending the remaining life of the roof, where other contractors were only willing to replace the entire roof. In spite of the reasonable cost I received a quality professional job. I could not be more pleased.

This was a positive experience! We called this company after having a not so great experience with another company. Bradley returned my phone call promptly and provided an estimate view the phone. The estimate was reasonable and in line with the other company that gave us an estimate. He said that they were booked out for two weeks and would call back in two weeks to schedule. He said we could call if two weeks had passed and he hadn't heard from us. It wasn't needed. He called and scheduled within his time frame. He and his co-worker worked hard and completed the work and left the area clean and undisturbed. He explained the process and what was done and noted a crack in our chimney cap that he said might need attention in the near future. He and his employee seem like honest hardworking guys. I plan to use them again.

Fining a good roofing contractor today is like winning the lottery. Bradley Builders recently re roofed my home. They were not the low, but the "best" of 4 bidders. The owner (Brad) works on the job with a professional crew. He was honest, did clean work and job completed on time as promised.

Everything went great. Brad was very professional, personable and very responsive to our calls and emails. There was no problem communicating with him from the start. He didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't need, unlike some of the other companies we contacted. He took a lot of time explaining things when he came out for the estimate. He was patient and helpful as we tried to decide on the color of the shingles. The job was started in the time frame that he had promised. It took a few days to complete because of delays with the weather, which was fine. He was concerned about the safety of his workers and did not rush through the job. We appreciated all his attention to detail. We trusted him with everything he was doing since he seemed so knowledgeable. It was a very pleasurable experience from beginning to end. We cannot say enough good things about Brad and his crew. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. If possible, we would give him A+'s in everything!

Brad was very responsive to my calls. He was accessible via cell phone and on the site during the job. He and his workers took care of the surroundings (plants, deck, etc.) They cleaned up nicely. We ran into a snag with the electrical attachment at the roof line. Even though he had to wait 2 weeks for electrical work to remove and reattach the wires so he could complete the shingles, he came back immediately to complete the work. I have used him once before and highly recommend him to others.

Brad took to the time to explain what was wrong with my roof and what he did to fix it. He was responsive to my phone calls and arrived on time. The work was done in a professional and workman like manner.

Brad & his crew showed up on time as scheduled. They tore off the old shingles on garage and showed me the rotten wood under shingles that needed to be replaced. We discussed what needed to be done and his crew took care of it. They stayed the first day until garage was done. The following day they started on the house. Same thing as garage. Had old wood that needed replaced and the guys took care of what needed done. The house took several days to complete as it rained and they had to work around it. The job was completed and the roof looks great. When Brad came to the house to give estimate he took his time explaining what he thought needed done and made several recommendations that others did not. That was what made our decision to hire Brad and his crew. He is very knowledgeable about what he does and what should be done. His price was about in the middle of other estimates that we received. Brad made sure to update us of all details every day as to what was going on and the progress being made. We would definitely recommend to others.

Bradley Builders worked hard to find us a solution to leaks in our roof. When it became clear that the problems were too extensive for patches, they helped us pick shingles and got the new roof completed extremely quickly. It looks great, and has made a huge difference already. They also replaced our low-pitch rubber roofs in front and back. They did a great job and we highly recommend them.

Rental Property. Old roof was looking bad - curled shingles, nail pops, starting to leak in heavy rain ... Got 4 quotes, all from A-rated Angie's List. companies Brad's was the best combination of a thorough proposal, sensible recommendations, and the right price. All work was performed on time, in a professional manner. I like that Brad still works the site with his crew. Will definitely use Bradley Builders again!

He is very detailed oriented. He worked hard and spent lots of time to fix the portion of the roof he thought was the cause of roof leak. He explained everything in detail. He even emailed or called and made sure everything was good.

Bradley Builders was very good. I will use them again if he's available.

The provider emailed me and said that he didn't service my area. I felt the specifics of the deal were misleading that he only serviced the Southern part of the county. He got back to me quickly and let me know when he had the information of the deal being purchased. Everything was done by email instead of him speaking to me personally.
