It's very nice to have something so close that I can rely on for my vacuum needs. I have always bought sweeper bags from him that are very reasonably priced. If he doesn't have something I need, he will order it for me online. I thought it was very kind of him to refund the service fee after I found a new vacuum cleaner somewhere else for less money. He even told me himself that I'd be better off buying a new one than paying him to repair it for more money. He is a real nice young man and very diligent about making his customers happy.
Description of Work: I took my vacuum to them to be repaired. They refunded the service fee that I put down up front because I ended up finding a new one for cheaper than a repair. I have been going there to get about anything I need for my vacuum cleaners for about 4 years.

THE OWNER WAS CLEARLY VERY STRESSED. UNDERSTANDABLE DUE TO HIS BUSINESS DIFFICULTIES. WAS HOSTILE, RUDE, AND LESS THAN UP FRONT INITIALLY ABOUT THE SITUATION, NOT TELLING ME ABOUT THE PROJECTED WAIT UNTIL AFTER A LENGTHY FILLING OUT OF FORMS, ANSWERING THE PHONE, ETC. HE WAS ALSO EXTREMELY DEFENSIVE WHEN I PICKED UP THE CLEANER, DENYING THE 2-3 WEEK COMMENT, AND MAKING EXCUSES FOR NOT RETURNING MY PHONE CALLS. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WILL NEVER PATRONIZE BLANCHARD'S AGAIN.
Description of Work: NO WORK WAS ACTUALLY PERFORMED. MY VACUUM CLEANER'S BAG, WHICH BLANCHARD'S HAD SOLD ME, AND WHICH I BELIEVE WAS DEFECTIVE, SPLIT AND BLEW DUST AND DEBRIS ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF THE CLEANER. I TOOK IT TO BLANCHARD'S FOR SERVICING AS IT WAS RUNNING HOT AND SHOWING A FULL BAG EVEN WHEN I REPLACED THE BAG. AFTER TAKING AT LEAST 5 MINUTES TO FILL OUT A CLAIM TAG, THE COUNTER PERSON (I BELIEVE HE IS THE OWNER) TOLD ME IT WOULD BE 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE IT COULD BE SERVICED, AS HE WAS SHORTHANDED. I WASN'T HAPPY WITH THAT BUT PREPAID THE CHARGES (REQUIRED) AND LEFT THE CLEANER. SIX WEEKS LATER, AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO ASCERTAIN THE STATUS OF MY VACUUM CLEANER, I WENT AND PICKED IT UP AND TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER.
