 + -1 moreBob was able to come out the same day I called to provide an estimate. Very, very reasonable, compared to others I had received. He was a kind, personable man, got right to business, and we agreed on a time within just a day or so. He and his wife (also very nice) was there right on time. They began immediately. I went in the house, and then, just like that, they were done. They filled up the whole truck, and had even spread out a bag of top soil they found while digging out! I highly recommend them.
Description of Work: I was cleaning out a large section of yard in my home I recently purchased. There were some 30 or so logs, left over from a cut down tree from years ago (16''-20''round x 22-24''long), old rusty fencing, pipes, rotted wood, you name it.

 + -1 moreYou will LOVE this company. First of all, I called a well-known junk removing competitor. Sorry, we can't possibly work you in before Christmas and by the way I'm talking to you from Canada. I called BK Hauling and the owner, Bob, picked up the phone. He said, you tell me what day and time (day or night) you want me to get to your house and I'll be there. So, I asked him to come later in the week at 9:00am. He was there exactly on time with his wife, uncle and dog. They were great! Efficient, helpful (wanted to make sure they'd taken everything I wanted them to take), friendly. The dog waved goodbye as they were leaving. I had also recommended BK to my boss at work. He used them and raved about them the next day. Thanked me over and over for finding them.
Description of Work: Removed old refrigerator, old large book case, several old computers and monitors, vacuum cleaner, other assorted junk. Filled the back of a large pick-up truck.

He gave us a discount for being Angie's List members when I told him that was where we saw his service listed.
Description of Work: We had a substantial number of large items that needed to be hauled away that did not qualify for removal by the city trash removal service, and BK Hauling did the job for us.

 + -1 moreOutstanding, Bob and I reveiwed the job on a Wednesday and they started as agreed on Friday, they worked HARD and had it wrapped up by the following Tuesday. If I recall correctly, he pulled out 15 truck loads of junk and demo material. That equals about 30 Tons in four days of work!! Bob's crew was so careful with the demo, none of the existing wiring or plumbing in the walls were damaged. I did not have to fix or repair anything from their work. This was huge, considering the demolition work involved. Other companies would just start smashing stuff out. Bob's crew took the effort to dissasmble things to minimize the damage.
Description of Work: BK Hauling cleaned out and gutted down to studs a rehab project of mine. The house was about 1400 sq. ft. ranch, 3 beds 1 bath with 2 car attached garage. The house had some light fire damage and was full of left behind junk. The garage, house, shed and basement were all full of junk and the lot was very clutered, too. The lot was about 3/4 acre and had a large shed out back. Basically we started with a complete mess and Bob's crew cleaned it all out and stripped every wall down to studs. He also took care of removing the framing for a front closet and pulled out the carpet, flooring, Kitchen, cabinets, old appliances, bathroom fixtures, furnace, water heater he took down several small trees, removed some wood fencing all the insulation in the house. When his crew left there was not a single exposed nail and the site was spotless. Oh, the yard had rotted cord wood, cement blocks and Car engines laying around. Bob took care of it all!

 + -1 moreThe Kemps were a little early for the job. They gave me a good price, and had the whole mess taken away in very short order. They were very nice and polite. They double checked everything to make sure it was all swept up and raked up. I was very pleased. Also, they had very quick response time both to my call and to come do the job.
Description of Work: We had torn down an old aluminum shed and replaced it with a new one. Creating a pile of junk from the old one and a pile with the packaging etc from the new one. We had also cut down some very bushy trees. Also some accumulated thrown out items.

They came out quickly and on time and hauled the items away. They were also nice enough to take some rotted wood I removed from my deck. The price was great. I will definitely use them in the future if I need anything hauled away.

 + -1 moreWhen on-site for a hauling job, Mr. Kemp quoted me a price for the bush removal. He said he would come by and do the bushes without me needing to be home. Three days later, I came home from work to find the bushes gone and the area clean of all debris. A bill for the quoted price was left. I really appreciate that he followed through, and I didn't even need to call and remind him.
Description of Work: They extracted two bushes from the front of the house and took away all debris, including roots.

 + -1 moreLike I said, they were prompt, courteous, honest & generally nice people. It is a family owned company and they were respectful, and nice to work with. I would hire them again. the price was reasonable considering the work they did in about 4 hrs total for 2 large truckloads. They actually provided me with ideas to save money with brush, etc. They were available anytime I needed them including after work and on Saturdays.
Description of Work: They arrived promptly, very pleasant team, went right to work. In order to complete the job, it took 2 truckloads. They cleaned out the storage in my barn and cellar and actually swept up after themselves. They removed old chairs, boxes of junk from old barn, glass, removed two fences from 2 large pens, broke everything down and made it efficient. They did not charge me for ''air'', in other words, they made good use of the truck and removed everything and more from my property!

 + -1 moreExcellent service. Responded quickly to phone calls. Because of the location of the hauled items, they had to take a truck across the lawn, and he was very careful not to damage lawn. Very thorough cleaning of the areas where brush and shed were located. BK performed much better than other haulers we have hired in the past. I have no problem recommending BK to others.
Description of Work: Removed 2 large brush piles, large metal shed and contents. Removed busted up concrete.
