The guy who did the work on my house did an excellent job.

I called 3 companies big city was the last and they answered the phone. Monty answered and said that he was the only one there and he was all booked for Monday but he could come Tuesday between 2-4. The other two companies called early Tuesday morning but I decide to go ahead with Big City. Wishing I had asked if they had some times available, because now it is 6:30pm and he is still not here. He called at 3:21pm to say he was running behind and would be here between 5-6. I called at 5:50pm again he asked did I want to reschedule I said no because I have been with out my stove for 4 days now. He said he was up north and he would be here with in the hour, it's 6:35. He got here about 7pm took him about 10 min it was the braker instead of the socket. He gave me the braker and then took $25 off so what would have been more than $114 cost $89 because he was so late getting here. I guess it not how you start but how you finish. I think he would tried to all the jobs himself next time.

The company was just really great. The woman that came to write up the contract was very knowledgable. The workers were on time, organized, and had everything on hand that they needed. Also, they were so neat! They cleaned up after themselves and removed all the trash. It was a really good experience.

very good customer service. Even told me to turn the lights in the closets on for 4 hrs to get the hummmmm out of the light. will call them again. My son-in-law uses them too.

Because I forgot to purchase an extender rod for my new ceiling fan, Big City Electric had to come out twice to do the job. They were very professional and courteous. It was a pleasure working with them and I heartily recommend them!

I called this place to get a price quote for hanging 3 new chandeliers and to re-wire some lights in the bathroom. They gave me a very general quote on the phone and said they don't come on-site to give quotes. Their quote they gave was much higher than what I was quoted by Efficient Electric and I felt that without seeing the job, their quote wasn't very accurate. They were very informal and didn't seem very concerned about getting my business.

I was very pleased with the responsiveness of Big City Electric from the moment I called them about my home's electrical issue. I think they were very honest and while the price felt a bit high, I'm not extremely familiar with electrical rates, so perhaps it was appropriate. I had a great experience overall.

These guys were awesome! Mikki set up the appointment and not only gave me the estimate but also gave me suggestions for the ceiling fans and exhaust fan. Very personable and knowledgeable. The two guys she sent were great...knew what they were doing, went right to work, cleaned up after themselves and loved on my dogs (lol!). I was very happy with the work and will be using them in the future for other projects. And, by the way, her price to do all the work was half of some of the other electricians I called, so I was able to get the work done and get all the fans, etc, for less than others were charging to just do the work. Excellent company! Make sure they are on your list to call when you need electrical work!

The whole experience was great. Monty ( my electrician ) was very polite, knowlegable and thorough. Allowed me to follow him around for 51/2 hours and put up with all my questions. All of his answers made me quite cmfortable with his knowledge of electricity. When he was finished installing my new electric panel He was very thorough in testing his work to insure that it functioned properly. Electricity on the whole makes me very very nervous and with the work that was done by BIG CITY Electric I feel very much at ease.

Big City Electric was recommended to me by one of Angie's List's stars Randy from Cruikshank Plumbing. As a rule I don't use contractors not listed on Angie's but Randy raved about them. I was hesitant but went ahead and called. Randy was right! When you call you speak to Mikki. A journeyman (journeywoman?) electrician in her own right, Mikki is an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she knowlegable about just about every electrical problem you could think of (she's been there/done that), she is a complete professional. Mikki scheduled her husband David to come out and do the work. David showed up on time and ready to go. He repaired/fixed/installed every thing I ask for, took the time to explain things to me and when I asked about possible future issues walked me through things and provided possible alternatives and recommendations. All in all these guys are GREAT! I would not hesitate for a moment to use them again or recommend them.

The work was excellent, performed on time and on budget, and done by a professional and very nice team of electricians, including the owner Dave.

I cold called this company for a few projects without researching their background on work or without any referrals. After some expertise investigating of the entire electrical situation, Marty was able to figure out what the problem was to get the old wiring fixed and updated, then separated into different new switches, therefore that project only took about 2 hours! I was so impressed with his knowledge that I know I will call this company again to have Marty out for future projects in 'this old house'! Thank you Marty!!

came out prior to installation of Closets by Design without hesitation. Dave thoroughly explained procedure involved; was speedy; gave 10% Senior Discount; cleaned up any mess so didn't get on my clothes. I will definitely recommend Big City Electric to all my friends.

I was very disapointed in the service. He talked about giving the customer more then they expected, then whined about the condition. I'm an old fat lady and I had to clean up before he would work on the electric. He had gone into the attic to see what the condition was and when we decided to use his services he said the conditions were not what he expected.

Overall it was a good experience. Dave was very profesisonal and ending up doing all the work himself since his help did not show up for work that day. It too a little longer then I had expected, but since he was by himself it was okay. He was able to get it all done in one day. I love my new ceiling fans -- should have had them installed long ago. I will most definitely call Big City Electric if I need anything in the future.

We were thrilled. Dave walked through the project with us to determine placement of the various light fixtures. When we wanted to expand the scope of the project we were provided with an additional quote in a timely fashion. We will use Dave again in the fall when we are ready for a couple of additional electrical needs.
