The lamp was dropped off anticipating it would be a few days and before we could even make it home they called and said it was ready, so we really can't complain about the promptness. The only issue I had was the unattractive plug they used, but that's hidden behind furniture so I'm not worrying about it.

They are great. We go to them for lots of stuff. I think that their price is reasonable and they do a good job. They are a wonderful hometown hardware store. They have just about everything. It is the kind of place that you feel good about spending your money there. They are friendly people.

It wasn't cost prohibitive. They would ship directly to the store. I looked it online. They were very professional, and very personable. I came and picked it up. I was in and out in a few minutes. It went very well. It was such a flare that I would be going back to them. The customer service was good.

I needed to get a broken humidifier fixed. It was a Frigidaire model, several years old. I tried to find a solution online but was unable to. A competing service and repair store said they would charge me $50 just to examine the humidifier. Beechwold Ace Hardware, meanwhile, offered to do so free of charge. I dropped off the humidifier and they called me back several hours later. They were unable to fix the unit and suggested that the humidifier was probably not worth the repair costs anyway. As as a result, I told them they could just keep the thing; they said they would junk it. While I was disappointed Beechwold Ace Hardware could not repair my humidifier, I appreciated their professionalism and punctuality and, most of all, that I was not charged at all for their examination. I trust that their recommendation was correct, and will not hesitate to use Beechwold Ace Hardware again barring information otherwise.

Beechwold Ace Hardware were close and local and I've dealt with them before and had good experiences. It's relatively close to the house, so I could drive right up and literally, drop the mower off and drive off. It seems like anybody else around here doing mowing services as a project, you've got to get it to them. But they were like boom, boom. The driveway is set up such that you just drop it off right there. Drop and go.

They did an ok job. A bolt had come loose while they were doing work so I had to take it back. They did fix it. They were very apologetic; they did put on a new starter rope for me at no additional cost.

Phenominal experience. Walk-in service. Completed in less than fifteen minutes. Price included parts. Took two unusable lamps and converted them into full use like new. (actually in one case, better than new).

I took my grandmothers snow blower that had sat in the garage for an undeteremined amount of time. we were not ever certain it would run but they got it working and 3 days later it was ready to be picked up. They helped me get the snow blower out of the car and helped put it back in. My Husband and I are very pleased.

Beechwold Hardware is my go-to place for all sorts of things. Their staff greet you and give you one on one service to find what you need or help you with a project. Their hours are convenient and their prices are very reasonable. They have household items as well as hardware and yard tools. I go to Ace first and rarely come away without having what I need. They will order a product if they don't have it in stock. The staff have a lot of experience and can give good advice on how to solve a problem. i recommend this store with no reservations.

They repaired a floor lamp's switch. Great service! Great staff! Very helpful and reasonably priced.

Great service sharpened mower blade whilw I waited. About 10 minutes.

Called and was told they made repairs to antique lamps. I took it in and with in two hours I received a call that the lamp was repaired. At check out I asked if I was given the 5% senior discount and was told that it didn't apply to repairs. I was surprised because the add identifies lamp repair - senior discount does not say lamp repair was exempt. Other than that I would still go back but make sure up-front whether I would be entitled or not to the discount.

They are so terrific and they always give us great pricing. They found this specific item that I was looking for and even altered it to exactly what I was needing.

They rewire lamps quickly; they can actually take care of it while you wait. They are very nice and sweet and make good suggestions about what can and can’t be done. I’ve used them for appliance repair as well. They are a family owned business and they’ve been in town for a while.

The gentleman who worked there was really nice. He helped us come up with a solution to one of the things I was building. Their service was good.

They were great. They were on time, provided a reasonable price, and communicated very well. They gave me options on how to repair for less money (less quality), which I thought was very honest and helpful.

Walked in to the store unannounced, directed to service counter when I told them I had a lamp repair, service guy approached me immediately, asked about lamp, popped out the socket, looked at the wiring, decided it just needed a new socket, found it in store, returned and installed the socket, got a bulb, tested that it worked, and said..."Tell them up front $7.50." All the while he and another store service person made small talk and were very personable too. AWESOME. In and out in 15 minutes. Thank you!

I am an older person, and a widow. The rewire all kinds of lamps for me. They always fix them so they look perfect. They have also converted a stain glass chandelier into a for lamp. These guys know what they are doing and they are so nice about it. Most importantly, they are also exceed punctual, and they are economical. Alot of businesses do brush old people off, however this business does not do that.

I paid $5-$10 to fix each lamp. He fixed it when I took him in. He knew what to do to fix the lamp, so it wasn't hard and if one didn't know it, it would take forever. They were very pleasant and enjoyed doing their work. It is really hard to get somebody to do this kind of things.

We loved this old fashioned store. Helpful staff and wonderful stock.

I keep going back because of their service and knowledge. If you don't know how to do something they can talk you through it.

Had to get a tune-up for our lawn mower as well as check on a leak. They were quick to check it out, didn't try to hit me up with any extra repairs or costs, gave me useful info for future usage, and tuned it up for a low cost. Was very happy with the experience.

I checked Angies List to find a lamp repair business.My lamp was fixed while I waited, less that ten minutes.The charge was approximately $6.50.

From the time I got there, it took only about fifteen minutes to have sockets in two lamps replaced. Extremely reasonable price.

Early Friday evening, I took the lawn mower in for a tune up. They said the would probably get to it that night. About an hour and a half later I received a phone call that the tune-up was complete. They cleared the chute, changed spark plugs and sharpened the blades. I was also told that the belt for the auto propel was broken and given the cost to fix it. The people that work there are very friendly and professional.
