We were disappointed to find out that we were locked into Time Warner, who was less than stellar at handling our cable. However the community is somewhat friendly and most neighbors are nice. We suffered multiple thefts. Shortly after moving in I purchased a new bike which was stolen out of our locked garage. The following winter my car was broken into, and the car radio was stolen. Maintenance does not complete work or respond normally. If we place a request to fix the washer, they will come and try to "make" it work, but don't actually fix it the right way. The stove will not sit against the wall because this particular apartment has different stove that doesn't fit the slot. They refuse to send someone to adjust the piping so things are always falling behind our stove. The tiling keeps shifting, each time I've brought it up they say they will "note" it and come back, but never do. The garage has never latched (not even locked, just LATCHED) since we moved in nearly two years ago. Each attempt to have it fixed has been a dead end. The front office is incredibly picky about things that they deem you responsible for in terms of keeping their sales up. For instance, they will hound you if your blinds are bent. They do not allow you to mount a dish, and do everything they can to keep everyone's apartments looking the same. The pool regularly gets closed for "maintenance" with no warning, and no explanation. People regularly climb over the fences to get to wherever they are going, which can drive pets crazy and scare kids. The parking is at your own risk, even though they don't tell you so. There is risk of damage from trees falling from property outside of their place, and they do not notify residents nor tell tree owners that they need to cut their trees back. Their goal is to blame other property owners if there is damage, and claim they never knew there was a risk (we ran into this scenario ourselves, and the front office delayed, lied, and otherwise was unhelpful). If possible, I will come back and amend this review if additional facts need added (or, in the unlikely event, that they improve). If you let your renters insurance laps, they will refuse to take rent so they can try to evict you (ours didn't actually laps, just their copy of the forms lapsed, but in their eyes it's the same difference).
