BARLUP REMODELING

I would NOT recommend using Brian Barlup Remodeling, LLC. Bexley, Ohio. He was paid to fix a porch charging me 4800.00. Within a few months the same existing problem persisted. When I attempted to contact him via text, email and phone calls he ghosted me and my business partner. Instead, he "lawyer up" vs. doing the right thing and fixing the problem or at least giving me some portion of my money back so that I could find another contractor. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS GUY!

I would not recommend hiring Brian Barlup Remodeling, LLC. He was hired to fix a sagging porch and charged us 4800.00. Withing a few months the porch began sagging again. When attempts were made to reach Brian, he ghosted us. No response to calls, emails or text messages. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS GUY!

Gutted the entire bathroom. To allow for maximum utilization of a small space, he moved fixtures, built in shelves and created a beautiful marble shower. Corner marble shelves for the shower stall were very expensive so Brian made shelves himself from existing marble tiles. Brian cleans up each day and never leaves a mess. The finished project is wonderful.

We’re very pleased with the work that Brian did in our home. We learned of him from a friend and on Angie’s List. He came out, answered our questions and provided a fair and reasonable estimate. Hekept us in the loop as he completed other jobs and set a date for completing our remodeling. He arrived when he said each day and cleaned up before he left. Brian replaced an old outside door including adding a new threshold, jam and trim, a gas water heater for an old – 28 years - electric one, a split outside water faucet, some old can lights, an attic exhaust fan and installed several roof vents and insulated runs for bathroom exhaust fansand the gas water heater. He even replaced a leaking toilet flush valve seat he discovered and installed a CO detector. We have had lotsof remodeling done to this house in the past – kitchen, floors, exterior siding, roof, etc. but none of the contractors we’ve hired was as meticulous and thorough and reasonable as Brian. He reminds us of Mike Holmeson HGTV. We look forward to hiring him again in the future.

I couldn't be happier. Brian took us from a 1950's nightmare kitchen to a modern beauty. Our house is almost 100 years old, so he ran into plenty of issues, but he tackled them all. He made recommendations, but always respected my vision. He updated me daily on project progress, and did a wonderful job of keeping a certain level of functionality going throughout the project. We are currently having Brian doing exterior trim repair and paint and replacing our siding. And we're on his schedule for a bathroom remodel this winter :)

Brian Barlup did a great job with this project as always. We have used Brian for several projects around our home. From freshing up our kitchen (expanding island, adding cabinets, installing floor), to designing and installing a custom milled porch rail and floor, to installing a fence - he has always given a fair price and superb quality work. He shows up on time, we feel safe to leave him in our home unattended, and he cleans up after his work. If I had any and quot;complaintand quot; - you have to schedule him a bit in advance as he is almost always scheduled out several weeks (yeah, he's that good!) All our neighbors have also used Barlup Remodeling and we will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

Overall a great experience. He was very ethical and professional. Work quality was very good.
