Made a appointment sometime ago now. Been trying to get ahold of the owner ever since… had a buddy refer me to this shop , got in about 15 days later, I live really close (2miles) so I decided I’d walk home and was talking to everyone there so they knew I was walking home. As soon as I got home I was called by Tim the manager saying my car wasn’t cleaned and that they would have to charge me a extra $100 for a hour to clean my car… told him no one ever told me I’d have to have my car spotless(wasn’t dirty at all), and Tim tells me he’s sorry and that they have someone new working the phones to which I reply “I understand but why is that my issue I wasn’t informed and that he knew I was walking home”. Tim then gives me a ultimatum if I wanted to have it worked on or not and I said “no” and he told me to come pick up my car, I said “I’ll be there soon… 3 minutes after this, Tim calls me back and said he’s sorry and they will still do the car and that he will give me a discount(discount ended up being 5%🤣🤣🤣) if I still let them do it. I said yeah that’s fine…I get my car back later that day(take a Uber back there) as soon as I’m driving off I see there’s imperfections in all of the windows so I turn around and drive back and talk to Tim, he does a quick look at the windows(just the windows, not the back windshield) and says to give them up to 6-7 days and the bubbles will work themselves out. Well, fast forward… bubbles were still there. Talked to a buddy and he said the tint job was the worst he’s ever seen especially because automotive performance pros is about $200 more expensive than other places. So by this point I don’t even want them to touch my car again(just sensed something sketchy from the shop) and Tim won’t give me the number of the owner, so I went to the their other shop off of high street and told them the issues. The guys over there were much cooler and agreed that it was a crappy job. And that they would have to replace everything. So I take it in to have them redo it because now I feel comfortable that they can do it. So I go and drop my car off (2 days without my car now) and they call back roughly 5 hours later and say my car is too hard to do and they can’t do it…I honestly couldn’t believe it but I was like okay sounds good . So they ended up driving my car back to me to save me a uber(which was pretty cool and gave my a refund and they were all super nice people at the high street location). Okay, so fast foward again to about 2 weeks later it starts raining super hard out and I try to defrost my back window and nothing was happening. Well I got back home and shined a light on my back windows and about 75% of my defrost lines are shaved off. At this point I didn’t even want them to touch my car again and thought I’ll just have my mechanic fix them next time I go in(I was under the impression you could easily fix the defrost lines, but was I wrong!). My mechanic told me to take it too a body shop and the body shop told me I would have to get a new back window $300+ and that I should take it back to where they tried to tint it because “he’s never seen a window that scraped”. So I call Tim and let him know to which he keeps telling me he told the owner but I don’t think he did because he’ll get into trouble. It’s been super dangerous for me to drive with my back window fogging up and I can’t stress enough that this was THE WORST experience I’ve ever had in my whole life with a business. Hopefully the owner sees this and gives me a call. Tim keeps assuring me only the owner can do something and he’s given him my number. I was also referred to this place by a buddy that funny enough knows the owner (he doesn’t want to be involved) and he said he’s extremely sorry he ever suggested me to go there.

The folks at AAP are friendly, knowledgeable and based on the quality of their work, skilled. I had concerns about water damage that might occur during the tinting process, specifically the back window area of the car. I was able to speak directly with the person that would be doing the work, expressed my concerns and he told me he'd take extra precautions to make sure no damage would be done (obviously they do this anyhow, but it was reassuring to discuss prior). The end-result of both the tint and paint protection films is perfect as far as we can tell. Very satisfied and no damage done. The job took less than 4 hours and I found their waiting area comfortable and clean (TV, Wi-Fi) but you may need a jacket to stay warm depending on the season. Their prices were competitive with other places I checked. Our dealer recommended AAP as it's who they use for their and quot;dealer installedand quot; tints and paint protection applications. Solid reviews on Angie's reinforced this. Will definitely use again.

Description of Work: AAP tinted the window on my car. They were competitive on price and a lifetime warranty. I'll know about the quality of the job after the tinting completes the drying process..so far it looks good!

Description of Work: Failed to ask several key questions before providing service (remove factory window decals, tint over or around 3rd brake light). Overall quality of the materials and service is good. Hoverer, I expected more attention to detail from a top-rated shop.

When I first visited them to do the tinting and schedule an appointment, the person at the desk touted how their window tinting expert took a Medal at the SEMA conference for tinting. Sold. I dropped it off on the scheduled day at 8:00am. Picked it up later that day. - Job looked good (noticed some liquid bubbles which they said would go away (they did)) - Talked to another person at the desk and found out the 'expert' did NOT do the installation (disappointed!). This is where the and quot;Band quot; in professionalism comes in. It's not for the tint installer (whomever he was, because the job did look good), but on the office management. If you're going to tell me about this 'expert' when you're trying to convince me to use your services, I kind of expect he will be the one doing the job. They said don't lower the windows for a few days (I actually waited 2 weeks) so no scratches/tracks would appear. They also put some 'reminder' tape over the window switches so you would bump into that before trying to open the windows. That, I thought, was a nice touch. I should have done more research on tinting however: 1. cannot use ANY cleaning solution with ammonia in it as it will cloud the tinting over time 2. the tinting apparently SHRINKS as it is drying. Tinting was up to the edge on all windows and the edges had been feather trimmed on the passenger and drivers door windows (another nice touch). However, the tinting film has shrunk 1-2 millimeters since installation. Back side and back windows, you really can't see the shrinkage, but it is noticeable on the driver and passenger side windows because on a Mustang, they do not go up into a frame but are pressed against moulding when the doors are closed. Would I use them again. Yes. Just be real sure who is going to work on the car and have all of the facts about tinting before you do it.

I dropped off the Vehicle and they provided me with a Vehicle to drive while they were doing their work. They estimated it would take two days to complete all the work and they had my Vehicle ready on the second day. They kept me involved throughout the process and made several sketches of the graphic designs and I was able to see what they would look like on my Vehical. I choose one after consulting with them and it really did set off my Vehicle. My very first encounter with this company startd in 1994. I did have an issue with one of my former Vehicles. I had the the Clear Bra installed and unfortunately when I took it to a Car wash, the employee used a pad to clean the hood. This caused some scratches on the Bra. AAP replaced it for FREE. I now make sure that any place that is going to clean my car, is aware of the Bra.
Description of Work: This company has performed work for me since 1994. I have used them 16 times just myself. They have ALWAYS performed above my expectations and a few times that I did have a concern, was handled promptly. I have also referred them to several people and NONE of them has had a bad experience. In the latest contraact with them they did the following to my current Vehicle Installed a Clear Bra on my hood, front fascia, license plates and front door edges. Tinted the two front windows Added a graphic to the sides and hood of the Vehicle Installed a Remote Start Painted the factory emblems Tinted the rear tail lights Wrapped the front fascia in black Made recommendations on Wheel Packages

The job went well. They completed the job in about 3 hours. You can barely see the bra and I am hoping that it keep road chips off the car in the future. I originally talked to Dave. The shop is clean and nice. I had to take the car back the next day and they replaced the hood piece due to a small bubble. They are a little expensive but it was worth paying the price.
Description of Work: I have a Full Clear Bra installed. This included the Front Hood, Front Fenders, Back of Mirrors, and the entire lower Front Bumper. The car was an Acura TSX.

Excellent experience from start to finish. The work was coordinated by Dave Shefler. He was thoughtful and understanding and gave me as much time as I needed to ask questions and look around. He explained lots of window tinting options and offered suggestions. The work was performed by other employees, each of which was very professional in their appearance, behavior, and work. Everyone there was very friendly and were willing to converse, or not depending on my mood as I waited for them to finish. The final results were outstanding. The clear bra is barely noticeable, with nice cut lines and rounded corners. The window tinting is outstanding, with the film running to just below the edge of the glass. The waiting area was decent and they provided water and coffee. Doughnuts that had been delivered for the employees were also offered to those of us waiting, which was very nice. The shop area was very clean and well lit and the employees didn't seem to mind when I walked into the area to watch them work for a few minutes. At first I thought the price to be a little high, but after my experience, I would pay it again without question for the same quality of work.
