Tim and his crew were professional and responsive. They did a great job of cleaning up broken branches and trimming.

Through email, I asked Tim for an estimate and he was at our house within days. He emailed me an estimate (which was very reasonable compared to three others I had received) along with a detailed work proposal. Within three weeks during a busy season, Tim and one of his employees arrived on time, cut down the tree, took everything away, and cleaned up my yard in a few hours. He is personable, professional, and knowledgable. I would give Ascher Tree Services the highest recommendation and have asked him for another proposal for tree trimming and a treatment for my remaining three river birch for this fall.

I contacted Tim Ascher of Ascher Tree Services to cut down dead trees from two large birch clumps and deadwood from a large pin oak. He came out to inspect what needed to be done. He recommended that the birches get a chlorosis treatment now and trimming them in the Spring after they have had an opportunity to respond to the treatment. He emailed an estimate to me broken down for the treatment, trimming the birches (if that was all I wanted), trimming the pin oak and noted that a magnolia also needed corrective pruning from over the roof. It was very reasonable for the work to be done. Tim is an ISA certified arborist and has a Masters of Science in Forest Management from The Ohio State University. He explained the condition of the birches, what the treatment would do and that they should respond well. I took his advice and had him give the birches the chlorosis treatment, He also trimmed both the magnolia and pin oak. He was very efficient, professional and cleaned up all trimmings even though he was working under less than optimum conditions. I am looking forward to reviewing the birches progress with Tim in the Spring.

The services were completed as scheduled with the mess being hauled away. We used them for two properties on different dates and in both instances our experiences were great. He was very knowledgeable and told me which trees to watch as they may need this or that done in the future. I would highly recommend calling for any tree service needs.

These were big ash trees. He and his helper had both of them down and cut up in one day. He came back the next and removed the rest of the wood. The stumps were ground down by another person about a week later.

It went really well. He was really knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again.

I am a property manager so I deal with 25-30 contractors or contracting companies. This has been one of the best experiences I have had. On our 5 acres there are over 100 trees. No one had lived on the property for a number of years so they were in a bad way. We have some pin oaks that don't do well in the low iron soil. A number had died and a few were on there way out. Tim came by and identified the trees that were to far gone to treat and removed a few ash that had died from the emerald borer. He treated the ones that could be saved. In total he has removed 10 trees and treated 7 with a scheduled removal of 3-4 more dead pines. This process has been going on for over a month now and I couldn't be happier. Not only has he removed the trees that were dead or nearly so. He saved a number that I thought had to be removed. He has done all the work himself or been here when it was being performed so I don't have to worry about subcontractor shenanigans. He is his own office so sometimes you have to wait an hour or two for a callback but I have never waited more than 2 hours. That is a better response time than most of the other companies I deal with. In all it has been a great experience and we are going to contract him as our permanent Arborist.

Tim arrived early to the job site and was very courteous in our meeting. He truly has the owner and trees in his best interest. His knowledge and mitigation plan was flawless. His accuracy and precision was something I have never witnessed from a tree company. He was very thorough and efficient with his work. I would recommend him to anyone and will not go to anyone else.

We contacted Ascher Tree Services for help assessing the trees on our property. The proprietor, Tim Ascher, walked our property with us and provided valuable insight about our trees and patiently answered our questions. Mr. Ascher is a certified arborist and was able to go into great detail about the strengths and weaknesses of all of our trees. Most of the trees were fine, but one silver maple close to the house was a candidate for removal. Mr. Ascher indicated that we did not need to take it out now or anytime soon, but that it would likely cause us problems sometime in the future due to the proximity to the house. He also explained that it would be easier to deal with sooner rather than waiting until it did become a problem. We made the decision to have it removed and set up a date. On the day it was to be removed, Mr. Ascher phoned ahead so we would know he was on his way. Upon arrival he got straight to work and in what seemed like no time the tree was down and the branches and trunk removed from our yard. He was extremely conscientious about navigating our house, patio furniture, and nearby neighbors. I can?t say enough about the level of service you will get with Ascher Tree Services. If you want someone that can provide insight, advice, and tree service, this is your company. I have arranged to have the trees in our yard trimmed later this year and will update this review at that point.

I recently purchased a house that had a few too many trees in the yard. I knew that I had to remove some trees and get some limbs trimmed from off of the house, but I wasn't sure where to start. I contacted Tim Ascher. He came over to my house and discussed my options. He took the time to educate me about the different types of trees in my yard. He was certainly knowledgeable and helpful. We decided to remove two trees from my front yard and trim some limbs out of another two trees. Tim arrived promptly on the day he agreed to do the work. I was amazed at how quickly he removed the two trees, yet he took care to minimize the damage to my lawn. Then, he climbed up into the other trees and did some much need pruning, while making sure the falling limbs didn't damage my gutters or power lines. I still have a few trees that need attention, and I plan on using Ascher Tree Services again.
