The wall paper removal was a tough job and they did a great job as long as you don't mind the mess they left. They didn't clean up at all after, but they did get all of the paper down after scraping and scraping. The painting for the most part was good although we did have some problems with our front door chipping within a month of the work. The ceiling drywall work was another story. The job did not come close to comparing with the other ceiling areas. It did not look like a professional job. We also had problems with reliability. They would say they'd be here a certain day and then not show up and not call. This happened on multiple occasions. They required numerous calls to get the job done and then never actually finished the detail finish work. I felt like we were constantly getting excuses for the scheduling, the efforts and quality. They were very nice guys but we ended up quite disappointed in the final drywall result.

Excellent! I had estimates from two other companies before I contacted Artisan Finishes. I called Jay (the owner) to discuss my needs, he came out and met us saw how we used the area then measured and within 24 hrs. he sent me an estimate. While his estimate was not the lowest, he was the most respectful, detailed and observant of those we met with. Jay arrived on time and on schedule. He was very diligent in taping off the areas prior to do any painting, which took several hours. He protected all areas which could possibly come into contact with any paint. The next day he asked for our thoughts on his work thus far, which were good, we saw no blemishes, paint runs, etc. The work was truly impressive, while we have painted several rooms in our home, it takes a professional to do it right and he is a professional.
