Description of Work: They fixed the toilet dripping, but it took them to come on two separate days. After the work was done on the first day, we called them for water continuing to drip. We were told someone would come in the morning next day, we had to wait until late afternoon for someone to come and fix it. They were late on both days and were not responsive on phone calls. They did an okay job fixing the problem, but they did not clean up afterwards and it just did not look very professional. The people working were nice, kind and helpful.

Description of Work: We had a clogged drain that we could not clear. Plumber came in and took care of it easily. Only problem was we had scheduled 2-4 pm. No one came. I called the company about 4:15 and was told that jobs had run over. They thought someone had called (no one had). Someone would be out after 6. Plumber showed up at 5:40. We were home, not a problem. Work completed in less than 30 minutes. Plumber cleaned up before leaving.

Description of Work: The provider scheduled an appointment between 1 and 3 PM. The provider did not show. They did not call. When I called the provider after the scheduled time, they told me that it would be at least another hour before anyone would be here.

Description of Work: I had to contact them after getting the name and number fro Angie's list member services. When I called and told them I had not been contacted, they told me it was up to me to contact them. When the service tech came out, he told me that for the front fawcett, he would have to cut the drywall in my finished basement and for the back fawcett, he would have to drill a larger opening in my house at an additional cost of $135.16.

Description of Work: Checked the deal with what I needed; the deal was not for what I needed although he applied it to the cost of what I actually needed. My outside faucet ran and needed replaced; not the Angie's list deal I thought it was. The man who came out said it happened quite a bit and he wished the picture were better to explain what was expected. Think I paid an additional 100 dollars. Not sure

Description of Work: Ad was for an outdoor faucet replacement. Tech came out, very nice. But informed me that only newer homes have the correct type of faucets for this. Something about backflow, which older homes don't have. They would have to do all my plumbing for the faucet which would be about another $300. Tech said the detail is in the picture, and a lot of people have been getting confused nationally.

Description of Work: The servicer was supposed to be here between 10 and 11. I did get a call that they were behind. The servicer arrived at 4PM well beyond the appointment time. When he reviewed the faucet purchase he said it wouldn't work at my house because Faucets freeze in Ohio and I needed a different faucet. He wanted to upsell me to $149 for the faucet replacement. I declined and asked for my money back. It was a classic bait and switch.

Description of Work: Reviewing the deal, purchasing the coupon and scheduling the service visit was fast and easy. When the service provider arrived I showed them where the work was to happen (replacement of an outside faucet). Fairly quickly I was told that the coupon didn't cover my faucet for some technical plumbing reason (something about a 'bib') and that there would be additional charges to before the work. I pulled up the coupon on my laptop and showed the provider that the coupon states it was for the replacement of a standard outdoor faucet and that there was no mention of possible additional charges, unless I wanted to upgrade. I didn't want an upgrade just replace my basic faucet with a new basic one. The provider went out to his van to call his office to see what could be done. After 5 or so minutes he returned and told me that it would be an additional $61. Not wanting to spend $150 on a basic faucet I declined the the service. In the end I don't know if the provider was doing a bait and switch or if the coupon was poorly written. Either way, what I though was a straight forward service wasn't and this wasn't a good experience. I've purchased another Angie's List coupon recently and the service is scheduled for early next week. I'm hoping my next experience is better.

Description of Work: The service provider was very nice but proceeded to tell me that they didn't use and did not have the faucet provided in the add. He told me in Ohio I had a frost free faucet that would run me over $200.00 to replace. He did give me an estaminet and said he would subtract the $89.00 I had already spent. I feel that the company should have told me this when I called to make an appointment.

Description of Work: This is the second Big Deal I've purchased in which I did not receive contact back from the contractor or had to chase them to get the service. While I understand the disclaimers, I feel confident that if someone Angie's List rated provided their customers with the kind of reliability I've had with the Big Deal from Angie's List, your company would rate someone else negatively. You might want to consider if Angie's List should be in the penalty box for its management of its Big Deal program.

Description of Work: I called 5/10/13 to have someone come out for an estimate. An employee came out for a quote but it was overpriced. The coupon is also not really a "coupon." Even though I paid $99 for $200 worth of service, the tech told me that the coupon only gave me $100 off the total. Since I paid $99 to get $100 off, there is actually no sort of deal at all!
