Terrible operation. Charged $550 for 'leak detection' estimate, did not apply to repair, attempted to charge over $8,500 for a drain stack that should cost under a third that. They are now on my 'never use' list. Did not clean up, poor communications and workmanship on cutouts for estimate.

After two no shows, the person they sent was not honest about the work that needed done and gave a ridiculously high estimate after telling me I was getting a “veteran discount” As soon as I said something about getting a 2nd quote he said he could probably give us a better deal. Huge red flag. I should have gotten the "better deal" to start with. Also when the 2nd plumber came out and inspected our sewer line they said it wasn't even something that I should be worried about. According to their camera and inspection things don't warrant needing to line the pipes at this time. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone.

The appointment process was fine. Plumber was punctual. The price was not justified nor explained other than "we can't do 15 minutes of work for $200". The cost of the job to replace the fixture and put a shutoff valve was quoted at $521.00. This is $50 in materials and an hour or less of work. There was no issue with access to the inside or outside. The inside access is typical and in the unfinished part of the basement. I turned down the quote and have called to talk to the company management to understand how this could be this costly and have not received a call back. It seems that pricing is based on what they think you will pay based on where you live or other reasons and not the typical markup and labor model. Be aware and warned. The impact on me was changing my whole day around and the wasted time. Not to mention asking other plumber to not respond due to APEX being the first.

Awesome job. Jimmy, Andi, Logan, Shannon, Bob and the rest of the team did an incredible job. In one day, they removed and replaced my 100+ year old sewer stack, connected to city sewer, corrected poor old DIY plumbing jobs (pre-dated me) and replaced the main city water line. The hydrovav was fast, clean (I taped over my windows, but didn't need it in the end) and didn't rip up my whole yard. And it was so quick on the supply side that I didn't even know they were nearly done. All of this was done in one day, the inspector was out promptly and everything was great. Was it pricy - yes, but it was a fair cost and the work was great. 100% will use them again (new water heater on deck).

Service was courteous and job was completed to satisfaction. Only reason I will not hire again is that the on-site quote was literally double (>$500) of competitor prices which I hired in the recent past for the same job. This was a for a non-emergency, but I decided to go through with the payment to complete the job as my basement was becoming a mess. I also received calls from other credible sites on Angie's List later in the day quoting $275!

Apex Plumbing was great to work with and we will definitely use them again. We had booked a late afternoon appointment, but Apex called around 9:30am and said they could be at our house within the next 40 minutes. The plumber who did our job was Nick Colegrove. He was pleasant, informative, and he did a great job installing the faucet which turned out to be a bigger job than we had anticipated. And the cost was less expensive than other plumbing companies. I had a drain from my gutter downspout stopped up which was causing water to backup into my sunroom. They came quickly and told me what they would do which was to cleanout all the drain from the gutters of which I had five. I had already discontected two downspouts at my sunroom to expose the opening from the drain. They hooked up their pressure hose to the first drain and that cured my problem. They were here and gone in 20 minutes. They collected payment of $400. When I asked why it was so high they said they charge and flat rate for jobs however I thought that would be for all five downspouts. They emailed me the bill and on that were some items that I had done myself such a disconnecting and reconnecting the downspouts. They were there quick and did a good job but anyone using them should get a proposal saying exactly what they are charging for and make sure they do everything on that proposal.

There was a very slight leak in the gas line running to the furnace at the shut off valve. Apex was able to schedule a visit in a reasonable timeframe. They were very professional, explained the work and expense, and worked quickly, resolving the issue.

Felt like I overpaid for service. Invoice not detailed, just a bunch of whole numbers. I would have like to see the number of feet of pipe required and a price per foot quoted. This was not done, but I was desperate to have work completed before it turned cold. In addition, plumber had to come back twice due to leaks detected by city inspectors and gas providers.

They were very efficient. The job was completed quickly with care taken to only cut drywall where it was absolutely necessary. They stuck right to the quote as well. Very pleased.

Initially, the instal went as planned. However, upon leaving the installer told me the tub faucet might move a little. If it did, I was told “just push it back” into position. However, the next morning there was a rather large water spot (2 feet in diameter) on the kitchen ceiling. In total three trips to my home were needed to correct all issues but one. The face bowl lever is buried behind the spout and very difficult to reach/use. At that moment, I decided not to seek another attempted repair.

What I liked most about Apex is that they were very easy to contact and were responsive about updates as to when the plumber would arrive. I believe I called them on a Saturday or Sunday and immediately got an appointment set up. I had a water line that was leaking and Dale came out to fix it. He was very friendly and finished the job quickly. My only complaint is that it was almost $200 just to replace a plastic tube, and, Dale ended up leaving the discarded plastic tube on the floor of my basement. I had no issues with Apex at all, though I might search for a different plumber next time just because of the price.

It went well, the best thing about getting my water heater was the people who installed it.

Tech came to my house and promptly told me that they couldn't fit a water tank in my utility closet, that was currently housing a water tank. The tech then said a drip pan would not fit, and quoted a very high price. I had another plumber install a tank and drip pan a week later for almost half of the Apex quoted price
