Description of Work: I have a 31 day Korean wind-up wall clock that apparently needs new bushings. Unfortunately, Don was not able to repair it. He didn't even charge for the service call after taking it and opening up to see what the issue was.

 + -1 moreI couldnt be more pleased with the repair man and with how everything went. The clock has been in our family for about 60 yrs, at least. This gentleman, Mr. Lemon, provides the best customer service I have experienced. He is patient and knowledgeable, and obviously loves quality clocks.
Description of Work: The owner came to help me get my French Mantle Clock started again and help me figure out what I was doing wrong with my clock. I was winding the clock too slow, and he took the time to figure this out. He also helped my son prepare the clock to be transported to California.

 + -1 moreWe tried to arrange a time for me to take it to them, but they decided to come out to the house instead. I am glad they did that, because it is tricky to remove the pendulum. I called 3 places from Angie's List, and 2 of the others were offering discounts, but Antique Clock was very close to us and they were willing to come and get it, which the other companies were not. When I described the clock, he seemed to know right away that it isn't an ordinary mantel clock and offered to come and pick it up. When he arrived, he told me about the clock, where it was made, and how old it was. He gave me an estimate for cleaning and repairing since the clock had not had maintenance in at least 40 years. He said he would let me know if there would be any additional costs, and also said he would let me know if it would take longer than he estimated. He showed me how to remove the pendulum and brought me a proper key, which I did not have before. I was planning to give the clock to my son, and he gave me detailed instructions as to how to wind, move the clock, and adjust the time. We learned so much about this clock in addition to just having it repaired. The service was outstanding!
