After the negotiation regarding the price of the house was complete, it felt like Ann all but disappeared from the rest of the transaction. An electrician was called to the house to help resolve some inspection issues, and Ann was not available to be there with her buyer. Our agent actually stepped in and took action on the buyers' behalf in order to resolve the electrical issues. The worst part of the situation wasn't realized until the day before the scheduled closing, when the buyers' bank informed all parties that they would not be able to complete the loan in time to meet the scheduled date. This was a bank that Ann had recommended to her buyers. We believe that she did not actively manage the loan process. Once the delay was communicated, our agent again stepped in to complete the transaction. Closing was therefore delayed by 5 calender days and we absorbed additional expenses related to interest, insurance, gas and electric. We believe that Ann did not represent her buyers adequately and further did not act in the best interest of them, us or her agency. We would definitely not recommend Ann to buyers or sellers of real property.
