The two men were professional and very very fast! They were uniforms and looked clean and neat. They didn’t take a break during the three hour and 15 minute move. The move was excellent!

We needed a mover on short notice and Jeff Frank at American Moving and Storage Co was the only one of three movers I contacted who answered the phone and immediately gave me a quote (followed up by email confirmation) and arranged his company's schedule to accommodate our move within our needed time frame. The two man crew arrived on time, quickly and carefully moved all items to their truck, then moved them to the storage facility in the time Jeff had estimated it would take. This was the best moving company we have ever used beginning with ease of scheduling, accuracy of estimate, as well as courteous, friendly, fast, efficient, careful moving crew! We highly recommend them and will definitely use them in any upcoming moves.

It went very fast and well 4 hours to complete a move from 2 places into a different / new address. They were running back to the truck to get the next load!

Jason and James showed up about 15 minutes early to the scheduled time. They were able to move a truckload of furniture in less than 2.5 hours. I was very happy with the speed and professionalism that Jason and James provided. I would definitely use this company again for any moving needs.

Couldn't have been better! Mark and Paul were wonderful. They were running early and asked if I could make it earlier. When I wasn't able to be ready quite as soon as they asked, we split the time difference. There were more things to move than I had originally indicated, but that was no problem. Among many things, they moved a large treadmill from the moving truck into the condo's family room (in the basement) and a large, heavy sleeper sofa from the house to the curb for trash pickup. Mark and Paul were also very friendly and personable. As I told a friend who asked about the move, on time, on budget, and great movers: what more could you ask?

I didn't think all my stuff would fit and now there is more space to move stuff in! They were awesome!

Paul, David and Henry were awesome and made the moving experience stress-less for us. They arrived a little ahead of schedule, assessed all our rooms, and went to work immediately. Everything got loaded in about two hours, and unloaded in an hour. Our new place is on the second story, and everything got moved up the stairs very smoothly. Nothing broken or missing. They even helped us put up our TV and advised on packing strategies. We liked them so much we decided to spend some extra time loading things we had planned on moving ourselves, to save our time rather than our money. Moreover, the entire crew was a pleasure to work with -- they were courteous and sometimes funny, and just made the whole day a lot less awkward and unpleasant than we were expecting. We also had great contact with Jeff and Oscar to arrange the move, who were very responsive, informative, and professional. They even recommended another mover for a special (extra heavy) item that could not be moved with our scheduled service. White glove treatment all around! I hope we'll never have to move again, but if we do, we're definitely going with American Moving.

Jeff was very helpful, offering to come to our home for an estimate and appraise what was needed for the move. We hired two trucks and 5-6 guys for the move. They were scheduled to arrive at 9:30 that morning and were there about 5 minutes early. Very punctual. They were also very professional and a lot of fun to work with. They set up the furniture in the bedrooms as well as the rest of the home and put boxes exactly where we needed them for later unpacking. They were pulling out of the driveway by 2:30 in the afternoon...very fast but also very complete and professional.

They were wonderful. They were reasonably priced. Their movers were very knowledgeable. They were also very friendly. They moved me 5 times and I had one handle of one mug broke. In 5 moves, that was the only thing that was broken. It was really good. They were super fast and super quick. They were paid by the hour but they didn't sit around. They didn't try to extend the time out and make it take longer. They worked super quick. They were very efficient and effective. I recommended their service to my friends because they're fantastic. They're very responsive. They're very easy to get in contact with. I would absolutely use them in the future.

They were good as always. It took like two hours to get everything done. There were no damages to my furniture.

Took twice as long as expected (and twice as much).

I called and spoke with Jeff around middle of December. He gave me a quote and explained their process over the phone. Having called and gotten quotes for 4 other moving companies, American was the most affordable. Jeff even called a couple time before the move to confirm and make sure no major changes were needed. We were promised two movers and a 26' truck. On day of move, the movers showed up promptly at 8:30am and immediately began setting up and doing their walk through. We were pleasantly surprised that instead of two movers, we had three. The guys were very nice and professional and provided great conversation during the move. They only took 1.5 hours to completely load up the townhouse, and that included a 10-15 minute rest break for them. Once loaded we drove to the house (only about 5 minutes away). They quickly set to getting the truck in the drive, ramp down, and boxes unloaded. They placed boxes where appropriate and asked for ones that weren't labeled or they had questions about. They worked quickly and efficiently. All in all, they were down in about 1.5 hours, bringing the total time to only 3 hours! We were very happy with this company, and if moving services are required in the future will definitely look them up!

first of all they were punctual and the customer service was awesome, they explained everything and also went out of their way to move a very heavy and awkward piece of furniture and still met the time limits as well as moving the piece without damages to it or the surrounding walls. it was cold and snowy out and they placed all the mats necessary in the appropriate areas as to not damage any of the flooring etc. I would definitely hire them again and I've referred them to others also, plus the price was excellent as I had called to various moving companies for comparables.

Movers moved all household furniture effieciently and with extreme care. I was amazed that they moved an entire house in just 2.5 hours - with a 30 minute drive included. I received confirmation calls leading up to the move and even a call that morning to let me know they were running 15 minutes late. I hope I don't have to move again any time soon - but if I do, I will use this company again.

Amazing! Jason and Dave showed up on time, hustled and made it happen. Great communication and follow up from Jason at their offices. I'll never use anyone else. You won't be disappointed.

From first call, the company asked detailed questions about items we had and aprrox boxes to give best estimate. Easy to pick time/date. Price was middle of road compared to other companies. They arrived, were clean, organized and knowledgeable. Completed job right at estimate. 2 movers were friendly and hard working. Only complaint was it was raining and they didn't tell us till after the fact. We could have ordered carpet protection.

We have moved 4 times in the past 7 years. We have done cross country moves and local moved. American moving and storage of Ohio was by far the best experience we have had. The quote was reasonable. They provided enough man power and enough truck space. They showed up on time. Our crew of Mike, chris, Julio and David hustled from the time they started until the time they were finished. They took care of our belongings. They were very organized in loading and unloading. They were all very friendly and made what could have been a stressful day seem like a breeze.

Amazing job!!! They were punctual, friendly, and CAREFUL. Not one piece of furniture was damage and not one dent was put in the walls. They packed the storage unit with skill, I never would have been able to fit our stuff as well as they did. I would recommend them over and over again.

They did good until it came to my side-by-side refrigerator. They couldn't get the door off. So they where pulling on my water line(know that wasn't going to be good). Just try to hook it up and I would be right. They strip the line put holes in it. Now I have no ice maker, Thanks!!!!!! They have came out have replace the door for my water line. THANKS for taking care of this. They do take care of there people. THANKS AGAIN.

The company was available on very short notice for a move the Columbus to Pittsburgh. The truck with 2 men arrived at the time promised, loaded the furniture and boxes very quickly but with care and drove to Pittsburgh. The truck arrived at out destination before us and had to wait for us. Everything was unloaded carefully. The men were very willing to help set up some furniture, like the bed and help in general. No damage to anything was found. I highly recommend this company.

Mike & David moved all on time & with great efficiency from both location. To a house one hour outside Columbus. They were excellent movers and delight full to work with!!. Would use this company again in a heart beat!!.

The 3 movers we had were so efficient and professional. They also had great senses of humor so the day was actually fun!

They arrived on timed and finished a little early. They carefully moved all furniture. They even RAN back to get the next piece of furniture or box! I was impressed! All furniture was placed where I wanted it in the new house. They get a thumbs up from me!

2 young men arrived early, introduced themselves, started loading right away. They worked hard and steadily - only one short break. They asked questions and followed directions well. Have now used them twice!
