American Moving & Storage did an excellent job with our move. We hired them to move just our heaviest furniture, and they were so efficient that they moved all of our furniture within the time we'd planned. The movers were right on time, very friendly, and energetic. They handled even the trickiest & heaviest pieces with ease. We also got a great rate. I have recommended American Moving & Storage to several friends, and will continue to do so!

We were very impressed with the services provided. The company called the day before to confirm the move. The movers were professional, took care with all our items, and hard working. Moving is stressful, but the staff at American Moving and Storage made this move easy. I would absoultely recommend using them, and would not hesitate to contact them in the future.

American sent 2 men and a truck as requested. The workers were very professional. They explained the contract and had me sign it. There had not been time to do it prior to move day. The move took 2 1/2 hours. They protected the door jams with heavy moving blankets. The elevator at the facility we were moving into wasn't working properly. The worker asked if there was another elevator he could use so we wouldn't have to pay for him standing around waiting. We appreciated that. All the furniture and boxes (mostly antiques and handmade furniture) arrived safely. We have unboxed everything and found no broken or scratched items. The men were very careful with everything including the walls, door jams, etc. of the house we were moving out of. We would definately use American Moving again if the need arises. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

On the day of the move the truck pulled up a little earlier than Jeff had estimated. John and John reviewed with us the items to be moved - many of which were cumbersome and heavy. They loaded the truck very quickly and carefully. They then drove to the apartment and began unloading the truck and moving everything to our daughter's third floor apartment (NO ELEVATOR). They were efficient and uncomplaining. It was impressive that the move went so smoothly. Everything arrived in good shape, and we couldn't have been more pleased. Moving day can be stressful, but American Moving and Storage of Ohio made the day almost easy.

Mike, Cris and Cliff did a terrific job of moving our items from the storage unit into our new home. They were on time, had everything needed to protect needed items and even made sure to put protection down where they walked. They all had positive attitudes on a rainy day. They were great to work with and kept breaks to a minimum. They worked their tails off.

The men worked hard from start to finish. We were very pleased with their work. They loaded the truck efficiently and safely. When dropping items off at the storage unit, they took the time to take the legs off of my very nice kitchen table so that it would store properly. They organized the storage unit neatly and compactly and even used blankets I brought to protect and pad our items. We were very pleased with how they unloaded items at our home. The men worked well together and communicated well to make sure that nothing was damaged or even scuffed. They were careful with other items in our home (i.e. pictures, wall hangings, other furniture), moving things when needed so as to not damage anything. Lastly, we asked (at the last minute) if they would be willing to take a few large items to a local consignment shop. They were very agreeable to this and loaded the items into their truck and dropped them off at the shop. My husband and I were grateful for their hard work. It made our move easy and hassle/worry-free. Their prices were good, too. We will use these folks again for any future moves.

They did an excellent & professional job.

My move went great. They had to leave most of the furniture on the first floor since the carpet was still not completed. They had to unload from the street and go up 2 sets of stairs to bring in the furniture. They are very friendly, polite, and courteous. They are awesome.

Arrived 1/2 hour early. Jason T. and Paul R. did a great job. Moved at a reasonable pace. Hired them for 5 hours. They moved out heavy furniture and took great care not to damage anything. They were extra careful with our big TV. Wrapped our sensitive items in blankets. Informed us when they were going on breaks. Only took two 5-minute breaks that didn't even last that long. They made sure to find out exactly where we wanted each box (which floor/room) and how to arrange the furniture. It was a hot, humid day and they did a good job. Would hire again.

The experience was great. Mike and Chris showed up exactly when expected. House was packed and ready to go in 1.5 hours. Arrived at new place when expected. Unloaded truck just as fast into new apartment which was now three stories up instead of 0.5 stories down. Day was expectionally warm and humid. Whole move only took six hours.

This was a great experience and totally worth the money! I got a confirmation call the day before and the guys showed up right on time. They worked very quickly but at the same time were extremely careful with all my stuff and the walls, floors, etc. Their estimation of how long it would take was right on. They were courteous and friendly as well. I would definitely use this company again

The owner came to the house in order to work up an estimate for the move. The movers did a great job on the day of the move and were very nice to work with.

Oscar was very accommodating in scheduling. These guys called ahead as promised, arrived on time, did the job efficiently. I think $164.54 is high for a half hour of work.

I had tons of plastic bins to move, and they had no problem with moving anything at all that I had, unlike other companies which often requires everything, even bins, to be boxed.Everyone I communicated with was very friendly and professional, including the movers, who tolerated and even did a little entertaining for my eight-year-old. Excellent service.

This is the second time I have used them and will use them again if we move in the future. Highly recommend them and the price is unbeatable. Before we used them the first time, we had quotes around $500 and they were by far the cheapest and always provide fantastic service.

I researched movers on Angie's List and also received a quote from a company I had used before. (That company would charge a minimum for the move and even though I knew they'd do a good job, it would be too expensive.) Based on Angie's List reviews, I called American Moving and Storage of Ohio. Oscar was very responsive in providing a quote and the company was flexible in scheduling the move date. I was called to confirm a day before the move, as promised. The two workers showed up right on time, even a couple of minutes early, which was appreciated. They worked carefully and quickly with no breaks. The job came in less than the quote and I was given the Angie's list discount. A painless and excellent experience. I would definitely recommend them. Thank you, American Moving and Storage of Ohio!

It went very well. The movers were friendly, efficient & really went the extra mile for my move. They were wonderful!!

Mike & Chris, were very polite and courteous. They arrived on time, were extremely careful with the furniture and with the walls and woodwork at both residences. They moved quickly when retrieving furniture. Both gentlemen, were a pleasure to work with. Excellent job!

They were awesome. They were fast, efficient, professional. I thought they were quick and they showed up on time . Their prices were better then others in the area.

One of the workers was very unprofessional and he asked me for a tip. The owner of American Moving and Storage said that he would reprimand that guy, but other than that the rest of them were good.

Our movers... Jason and Lee... were fabulous. They arrived on time and finished on time. They were friendly and accommodating... even moved a couple heavy things that weren't going to the new house. They were careful not to damage anything. Our only concern was that American Movers had a deductible... but the Lee and Jason were so careful, the deductible didn't matter.

The movers were prompt, professional and quick. The office responded to my emails/calls quickly and answered all my questions. A great experience.

The 3 men that moved us were courteous and very hard workers. All 3 were pleasant, fun and commited to accomplishing the move as quickly as possible and as efficiently as possible. They accomplished that. We were impressed with the planning on how to fit everything on the truck and how to move the piano down 2 flights of stairs. It was a job well done. We appreciated the positive attitude for a very emotional day. It helped to make the move with more ease than we expected. A huge thank you to the 3 men. .

They did a decent job overall but I would not hire them again. The guys worked hard and worked expeditiously. We were able to finish our job quicker than expected which was also a plus. The negative is that they weren't as careful as other movers I have worked with in the past. They scratched our newly refinished hardwood floors when moving furniture in a few places in our home. For me one scratch is one too many.
