A fantastic experience from start to finish. When I first called Jeff to set up our move, he was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We originally thought we wouldn't be able to move into our new home the same day we had to leave our old one, and Jeff worked out a deal with me to pick up our belongings one day, store them on the truck for TWO NIGHTS, and then deliver on the third day. Then, only two days before our scheduled move, we learned we would be able to move into our new home the same day we needed to vacate the old one. I called Jeff, who was able to adjust his schedule so we could be moved out of one home and into another the same day. We ended up using three guys to do the move -- we'd originally planned on two. It was the right choice, as it allowed them to complete the entire move much faster, saving us a considerable amount of time and money in the long run. The movers themselves were incredibly professional and friendly, and took great care with our possessions. I can't recommend Jeff and his team more. They did a fantastic job.

The overall experience was much better than I ever expected. The movers were courteous, efficient, and effective. They were sure to put the boxes and furniture in the correct location. The testament to their amazing service is when they were finished and were pulling out of my driveway, they stopped half way down the block because they had realized that they had forgotten to move a flower pot to the back patio. It would have been very easy to simply drive away at that point, but this one last minute touch cemented their reputation in my mind. I highly recommend using this moving service.

John and David from American Moving showed up right on time to move some of the larger items from a condo into a new home. They both did an excellent job and worked quickly without taking breaks. They were very careful with all of our items and I am not sure if I would have figured out how to get some items into tight spaces without them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Both men arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly, considerate, and hard working. They finished ahead of the expected time and were prepared with all the paperwork. Couldn't ask for more. They were great!

This is the second time I've used American Moving and Storage of Ohio for a whole-house move. This time I needed storage as well as moving. I filled out an on-line estimate request and received a call back from Jeff the same day. The price quote was competitive for the services I needed. Jeff asked about additional packing materials I might need (wardrobe boxes, picture boxes) and made arrangements for his crew to bring what I needed. On moving day John C. and David B. arrived right on time despite the very snowy morning. They were professional and courteous, introducing themselves then walking through the house to plan their course of action. They laid moving pads on the floor to protect my flooriing from the wet weather then minutes later they were loading me up at an efficient but careful pace. They expertly stacked my whole house in their truck, maximizing every inch of space. I couldn't have been happier with the great job they did! Though I hope not to move again for a long time, if I do I will call American Moving and Storage of Ohio.

Having heard stories of good and bad experiences with movers, I checked Angie's List for high rated companies. I decided to work with 2 for quotations. Both companies gave quotes over the phone. Based on the volume of my belongings, one mover felt it would be best to come by and estimate based on a physical review. This is when I met Jeff Frank of American Moving and Storage. He made some recommendations and I queried him on their moving methods and my concerns, one being protecting the wood floors in both houses.. He sent me a revised quote. I spoke with Jeff several times over the phone to talk about move dates, and options. He was very accessible and responded quickly. I decided to go with American Moving and Storage. Jeff told me that he understand my concerns and that he felt I would be happy with the crew he had assigned. On the day of the move the crew showed up on time, walked the house with me to go over their plan and got started. They unloaded everything at the new address by late afternoon. I could not have been happier with the move. Jeff and the crew were great to work with. The crew was respectful and we had some fun banter at times. They did a great job and took good care of my property in the process. Thank you Jeff at American Moving and Storage.

After an interstate move 3 years ago to a 3rd floor apartment building, I knew I wanted no part of that experience ever again. So when my wife and I bought a house and set a move date, we ran to Angie?s list, Yelp, and Google, and tapped our personal networks to find a Columbus-area mover who would reliably and affordably take care of this headache for us. I will tell you in short that our professional move with American Moving & Storage was the best money I?ve ever spent. Just as planned, 3 guys showed up 15 minutes early for our Friday morning move, and after a couple minutes of paperwork and scoping out the scene, they got right to work. Mike and two Jasons spent 7 hours moving us out of the old place and into the new one, and let me tell you- they worked their tails off for us. They tirelessly carried our belongings down 3 flights of steps, and they actually seemed to have a good time doing it. Once upon a time, I used to be good at the video game Tetris. These guys were playing Tetris with our heavy boxes and furniture much better than I ever possibly could have on a Gameboy. I?ve never seen a truck packed so efficiently and effectively. You know how some people are just meant to do a particular job? I can honestly say that these guys were as good at their job as anyone else I?ve ever met is at theirs. Their attitudes were upbeat and positive, they were outgoing and friendly, and there wasn?t anything they wouldn?t have done to help us. They just seemed like they were having fun doing a job that 99% of us would find stressful and extremely tiresome. I never heard a single complaint. Also, kudos to Oscar and Jeff in the office, who each answered all my questions on the phone and put me at ease from the get-go. The reviews I read on Angie?s List about American Moving & Storage are what led me to hire them, and I would do so again in a heartbeat. Although I am never, ever moving again, these guys made the whole experience as easy as it possibly could have been. I endorse them wholeheartedly and without reservation. Do your back a favor and spend the money on the pros. Trust me, your friends and family really don?t want to help you, anyway.

American Moving had moved our daughter, so we called for an estimate, and the move came in as estimated. The two men who moved us were Jason and Mike, and they were very professional and very nice to work with. We would highly reccommend this company to anyone.

This was a move from a second=floor apartment in Dublin to a ranch home in northern Columbus between Worthington and Westerville. We took a lot of stuff to the new home ourselves, but needed help with the HEAVY stuff and the remaining stuff we hadn't gotten to. The two movers arrived on time at 8:30 A.M and completed their work at 12 noon. And the price was very, very reasonable for the quality and value received. We were very, very satisfied.

I filled out an online request for a quote a few weeks before the move. They responded to my request quickly and provided info and an estimate over the phone. I scheduled the service soon after speaking to them. I received an email with details and moving/packing tips soon. The day before the move I received a call to confirm the move and time of arrival. The movers arrived on time and took a look around the house to make their plan. All three movers, Mike, Jason and David, were friendly and professional. They took great care of all of our possessions and put items in the rooms we requested. They kept moving and worked hard the whole time they were on the job. I'd recommend American Moving and Storage to anyone planning a move.

Today, the day of the move, the men arrived right on time. All went well with three guys who were polite and kept working for 5 hours straight. All in all, the experience was as pleasant as moving can be! The rough estimate was accurate, and the men were careful and attentive to their work.

THERE WERE WAY TOO MANY OBSTACLES ALL DAY LONG ????

I set up the move over the phone. The owner, Jeff, came to my house within hours with the boxes. He gave me an estimate for the move. The day of the move, 3 men came and moved my household goods to my new apartment. They were courteous, professional and did not break anything. They completed the move in the time promised. My only negative comment is that their boxes are more expensive than U-haul but they deliver them to the house. I bought additional boxes at U-haul but had to drag them home myself but they were much less money. I recommend Jeff and his crew. They were one of the best moving companies I have used.

This company, moved us twice and both times the movers were so professional, fast, friendly and very reasonably priced. We are thrilled with them, we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone!
