They saved me from having a nervous break down. The two guys that came to the house, right on time, looked at the truck and was able to let me know that the truck I had rented was too small. They made some calls and were able to find a 26 foot truck. They were very reassuring during the process. My things ended up taking up every inch of space. They were absolutely amazing.

Both Mike and David were very nice and helpful. They were on-time, quick, friendly, went above and beyond. Very pleased with services and would recommend to all.

They were running behind and called to let us know they would be late. They were very quick and efficient. They did a GREAT job for us. We have already scheduled to use them again to move us into our new home, as well as pick up the items they previously moved into the storage unit. In one area where we had packed boxes to move out, there was a $100 bill that had ended up in between the boxes. They brought the $100 bill to us. In today's society, most people would have put that in their pocket. We obviously had no idea it had dropped there. We appreciated their honesty of character in doing the right thing. That act alone spoke volumes to us on their integrity which reflected VERY highly on the company's integrity.

They were prompt, courteous and professional. We were paying by the hour and they worked quickly to keep our cost down.

The move and whole process went very well. I had a minor issue but Jeff was quick to resolve it. He is great to work with.

This is the second move we have done with American Moving And Storage Of Ohio and we were extremely pleased and satisfied with their service from start to finish, beginning with Jeff Franks, who did the estimate, then with the crew who packed our glassware, then finally with Dennis and his crew who moved us to our new home. All were very knowledgeable, careful, conscientious, friendly and considerate of us and our possessions. They all work well together and really care about doing a good job. We have absolutely no complaints, everything arrived without any damage. Only one tiny glass broke in the entire move. We would recommend this company very highly to anyone. Also Jeff Franks was so flexible and accommodating with our ever changing move schedule which depended upon our finally selling our home during the busiest season for moving. Thank you all.

After reading reviews on Angie's List, I gave these movers a call along with 2 others. They did not have any hidden cost and they had the best price. These guys were wonderful. The crew was friendly, fast, enthusiastic, and made the move enjoyable. They finished faster than anticipated (3 hours). I would recommend them to anyone.

We wanted to move furniture around within our home but felt like it was more than we could personally handle. I contacted American Moving for a quote, Jeff was responsive and professional. He quoted a fee of $215.00 (2 hr. minimum less Angie's list discount of $43.00) and the move was scheduled at our convenience for six days later. Because we were satisfied with the quote, and the company received excellent reviews on Angie's list, we did not contact other companies for quotes. (Also because very few other companies advertised that they did in-home moves.) On the date of the move, the two movers arrived on time. They were very professional, friendly and took a lot of care with our furniture. We were very pleasantly surprised when we were charged $43.00 less than the quote. We would not hesitate to contact American Moving and Storage and we would definitely recommend them to friends.

the move went really well! Lee and Steve were our movers and they were excellent! prompt, efficient, polite and professional. we really appreciate all their hard work especially with the humidity and then a bit of rain. they took good care of all our stuff and it all arrived in one piece. Lee did an excellent job of wrapping and moving our antique furniture. this is the 2nd time we have used american moving and storage. i highly recommend them and will use them again. thank you!

Arrived on time. Explained policies and procedures. Were cordial and thoughtful about all of the special requests. Worked hard for a few hours. Drove 20 miles. Unloaded for a few more hours, working hard. Everything arrived as expected, was placed appropriately and without incident. I could not ask for a better moving experience.

I called American Moving and Storage of Ohio because of comments on Angie's List that they don't mind doing small jobs and the positive comments from other people that have used them. The person that was scheduled to finish my hardwood floors wanted to move the job up and that gave me little time to find someone to move the furniture out of the rooms. I told him that would work only if I could find someone to move all of the furniture out of the rooms that soon. I called American Moving &Storage with my fingers crossed, thinking that my expectations were a little too much, but they were able to schedule me within a couple of days. Needless to say, I was very happy. Chris and Toral arrived right on time and moved all of the furniture to my garage in less than an hour. They were very nice, very careful and efficient. I am selling a few pieces of the furniture that they moved so they arranged those pieces so they were easily assessible if I needed to get them out of the garage before the other furniture is moved back into the house. I had mentioned to them that the most important piece of furniture was a desk that my grandfather made about 80 years ago. It's pretty heavy and I thought it would be a little awkward to get out the door but they moved it without a scratch! I will be calling them again when I'm ready to have the furniture moved back into the house. I'm thinking about moving to a new house and if I do I will be calling them for a "big job".

George and Chris showed up on time. They were both pleasant and professional. Entire move went smoothly.

I called to arrange to have movers come to my house and move furniture. The owner was polite and arrangements were made within a few day for them to come out. They moved large pieces from the garage to the basement to the upper level. They were careful and courteous. I will use them again.

Dennis and Toral showed up a few minutes early and did an outstanding job. Our furniture was very well handled and not a scratch on any walls. I would HIGHLY recommend American M and S of Ohio.

Crew was on time, very careful with handing furniture and its placement in new location.

I called American Moving and Storage of Ohio to get quotes on packing and moving. It was not a good experience. Jeff answered the phone by asking if I was an Angie's List customer and then telling me "we all call the wrong number." He asked for my number and then eventually called me back. Jeff was very unwilling to give me a quote for packing our house only for moving large items and boxes. He kept putting me on hold during our conversation as well. I finally thanked him and said it didn't sound like it would work out.

Jeff came to our house about a month prior to the move to provide an estimate to move our furniture and big items. He was very thorough and was confident that they could move our nearly 3000 sq ft house in one day with four movers and one truck. We had previously arranged to have friends and family help us pack and move our boxes and small stuff, so these items were not included in the estimate. On move day, the four-man crew was supposed to arrive at 8:30. They showed up at 8:20 and were ready for work. After a brief tour of the house, they got busy loading the 26-foot truck. They were extremely careful not to bang any walls and took great care of our furniture. They also moved my upright piano without incident. We agreed prior to move day that I would take care of all electronics, however I'm sure they were more than capable of handling them, too. By lunch time the crew had finished unloading the first of two truckloads (my houses were just a few miles from each other). The second trip was as uneventful as the first, and the crew finished up by 3:15. Other than a 10-minute break in the morning, a half-hour lunch and a 10-minute afternoon rest, they were constantly working. The move was a success, and nothing was broken or even damaged that I have found so far! This process was much smoother than I anticipated. I would not hesitate to call American Moving and Storage of Ohio for my next move.

This was made up of two crews. The move out of the apartment to our garage, that crew was awesome..showed up on time, were extremely efficient, very fun, great personalities and got it done in two hours. The move from our garage to the new apartment--that crew was late, but no fault of their own; they sqeezed us in, doing us a favor, and the first job was grossly understated by a several hours; consequently the crew was kind of grumpy when they got to our house, but I totally understood. They were also very efficient and did a great job...all in all, I am so glad we did this rathe rthan try to round up help and navigate the stairs (both houses) with awkward furniture. And prices were very reasonable compared to another firm I contacted. I would recomend them to anyone needing a mover and will definitely use them if I ever need a mover again

The four men that worked both times were very personable and efficient. They were also very careful. The first time two men moved furniture around inside the house. Some items included weight set, workout bicycle, and other workout equipment. The second time two different movers from this company moved more furniture within the house and out to the garage. They also moved a number of PCs, printers, etc. from the basement to the garage.

The two gentlemen, Chris and Toro, were very professional, considerate and well-mannered. They were on time and worked hard and efficient. They called the day before to confirm the time and address. Everything went smoothly. We will definitely use them again! Their price estimate was more reasonable than another moving company I called.

The move went great. I contacted American Moving and Storage about a month before my scheduled move and they quoted me the best price out of everyone I contacted. They followed up on the day before the move to confirm the start time, locations, and the number of items to be moved. On the day of my move, the movers showed up on a time and completed the move quickly. I would use their services again for a future move.
