AMERICAN IMAGE GLASS

The installers were right on time and took about (2) hours to complete the job. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. My only complaint was that I felt they should have done a better job and taken more time to clean and caulk the exposed areas from the removal of the original shower frame. They did come back out an add a little caulk, however it was still not done to my satisfaction. I applied lots of elbow grease, some goff-off and did some re-caulking to help hide the areas where the original shower frame had stood. I think the real key is, I "assumed" that all elements from the original shower door would be removed or repaired and they were not. For example, two old drill holes in our white tile were filled with clear caulk, when white caulk would have hidden the holes better.

I was a little freaked out when my husband showed me someone shot a b-b into our front window. Fortunately, it got caught between the two panes. I called AIG from the list Angie's List provided. It was MLK day so I was home and AIG was able to send out an estimator the same day. The guy looked at the window and even showed me how to tilt it in for cleaning (I didn't realize this window had that feature). We weren't sure what the cost for replacement was going to be and was pleasantly surprised how inexpensive this was. The window was then replaced a week later.

Did well from start to finish. One part arrived damaged and they sent back to the shop for a replacement and reinstalled that part once it arrived. Installer was very diligent about quality of work.

I called for a quote and received it promptly, while other vendors took a full day or more to provide the requested information. When I called to actually place the order, the person taking the call immediately located my prior inquiry and helped me place the order, calling me back promptly with some additional information I requested. I was notified when my order was ready for pick-up and a staff member carried them to the car for me, ensuring that they were appropriately cushioned for the ride home. Nice folks.

They did a great job, and everything fit perfectly. It looks beautiful, and we love the hardware. They were clean, fast, and there was no problem at all. Their pricing was also very reasonable.

First effort was defective b/c the 2" hole for the umbrella pole was off center. Company admitted mistake and replaced defective unit. Entire effort took approx. 3 weeks. Finished product looks good and performs as the original.

Professional, punctual; offered the perfect replacement product. Great price as well.

They weren't able to do the work, but they recommended who might be able to do it, and for that I give them points. We live in a hundred year old house with leaded glass windows, and one of them broke. Nobody could do those windows. The guy came out from this company and said it would take many hours. The woman that I talked to was fabulous. Even thought they couldn't do it, they recommended several places that might be able to. Ethically, I appreciated that. The woman was very sweet. I was desperate to have the work done. They deserve some props for that.

Remodeled our master bathroom which included a new tile shower stall. Checked Angie's List after joining for custom shower doors. After pricing doors at several companies, we chose American Image.

American Image Glass did an excellent job. They came out and repaired the window the same day that I called. They did a nice job. The window looks just fine.

I went to their showroom and got a good explanation about various doors and types and thicknesses of glass. Got estimates. When I decided to go with them someone came out and measured after my contractor finished the new shower. Their price was by far the best one and their install price was much lower them my contractor's price. Installers gave tips on door care and also advised against vertical edge as it was not necessary and took away from appearance of door. They were right.

It went fantastically. They were very helpful. I went in with a sketch and the measurements. They explained my options. They gave me a quote and told me when it would be available. It was available when they said it would be and it cost what they said it would cost. They did a great job and it looks beautiful in my bathroom.

I called for an estimate and received a rough estimate over the phone based upon my own measurements. Once I decided to go forward, they sent a representative to take precise measurements. A week or two later I called to schedule the installation and asked for installation that week. Two days later American Image Glass arrived and installed the wall of mirrors. They were quick, professional and did an excellent job.

American Image Glass immediately sent someone out to give us an estimate and 4 days later we had new shower doors/frame installed. We are more than pleased with this courteous, quick, efficient service and will highly recommend them to others.

They did an excellent job! They had a lot of complicated measurements and it also had to have a hole in the middle of it. They were able to do it perfectly. I would use them again for future work.

I called to inquire about 3 mirrors. Home Center mirrors were 1/8 " thick and yet seemed expensive. I wanted to check price on 1/4" glass as it looks better and would be stronger. Price was a consideration since they were for rental property. Turned out each piece was only $10 more so I had them cut. The polished edge cost more so I didn't opt for that but when I arrived only 1 of 3 had be cut. They didn't want to make me come back so they quickly cut the other two. The man who did the work also gave me the polished edge treatment. He said it just looks better or maybe because I had to wait? Doesn't matter; they satisfied me and I also saw some shower doors in the showroom which I will remember for when I need them. Good experience. Thanks.

They were great! Before I tried them, I called two of the companies that were highly rated on Angie's List, left them messages (twice) and never was called back. So I took a chance with American Image Glass because it was close to my home. They answered my phone call promptly, were incredibly polite, both on the phone and at their office ,and had the job done right within a week.

I had an open house over the weekend and needed this project done but wasn't available till 3 p.m. on Friday to start. They were less expensive than the competition and able to do it while I waited instead of needing a week. The woman at the front desk was very helpful in going over all the options and helping to decide the best choice. She listened to what I needed and didn't just push the most expensive option. Friendly, competent, quick and priced right.

ALL THE PEOPLE AT AMERICAN WERE POLITE AND WELL MEANING. THE SALES STAFF AT THE SHOWROOM WAS NOT WELL INFORMED ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY WERE SELLING. THE INSTALLATION CREW CALLED FOR APPOINTMENT TIMES AND THEY WERE PROMPT. THE PROBLEMS I EXPERIENCED WITH AMERICAN WAS THE INSTALLERS LACKED EXPERTISE IN THEIR JOB. AFTER FOUR TRIES, I FINALLY GOT MY ENCLOSURE INSTALLED AND UNFORTUNATELY SETTLED FOR A MODEL THAT WAS EASIER FOR THE INSTALLERS TO INSTALL INSTEAD OF THE MODEL I ORIGINALLY SELECTED. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS TIRING AND TENSE SINCE THE INSTALLATION CREW AT TWO OUT OF THE FIRST THREE INSTALLATIONS WAS WILLING TO CALL IT A JOB WELL DONE WHEN IN FACT IT WASN'T!!I FIND IT SAD THAT CRAFTSMANSHIP AND PRIDE IN ONES WORK DID NOT APPLY TO AMERICAN'S INSTALLERS. AMERICAN IMAGE DID SAY THEY WOULD KEEP TRYING UNTIL I WAS SATISFIED; THEY KEPT THEIR PROMISE, KIND-OF! THEY WORE ME OUT TRYING.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH ROGER, WHO CAME TO INSTALL THE GLASS. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND CLEANED UP ALL OF THE WORK AREAS AS HE REPLACED THE GLASS. HE EVEN POINTED OUT SOME OTHER CONCERNS ON ONE OF THE WINDOWS TO MAKE SURE THAT WE WERE PLEASED WITH AMERICAN IMAGE'S WORK.

ESTIMATOR CAME OUT, WAS VERY HONEST AND STRAIGHTFORWARD ABOUT THE WORK THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, WHAT TO EXPECT, ETC. RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT OF THE ENTIRE WINDOW INSTEAD OF GLASS FOR TWO WINDOWS (THEY DO NOT DO WINDOW REPLACEMENT.)INSTALLERS WERE POLITE AND PUNCTUAL, DID A NICE JOB, FIXED A MISTAKE THEY MADE IMMEDIATELY.

THEYRE PROMPT, CLEAN, AND INEXPENSIVE.

ESTIMATOR DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB IN MEASURING AND GETTING THE CORRECT DOOR - KNEW HIS PRODUCT. INSTALLERS DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB - EFFICIENT, COURTEOUS, KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING, HAD ALL THEIR TOOLS AND PUT SHOE COVERS SO AS NOT TO DIRTY OUR CARPETS.

DIFFICULT TO PIN DOWN TIMES. OFFICE STAFF WAS NOT REALLY HELPFUL WITH THE SCHEDULING.

IT TOOK THEM A LONG TIME TO GET OUT AND THE WORKERS WERE VERY RUDE. WE HAD TO USE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE OF OUR INSURANCE. WE
