 + -1 moreThey are the main electrical company for Columbus, Ohio. They service pretty much all of Ohio. They provide most of our power. Their was no cost for the most recent service because it was their fault. I would say what stands out the most about this company is that they're overpriced and they could improve their services by lowering the kwh. I would only used this provider again if forced to.
Description of Work: They had to fix their own electrical foul-up on underground wiring.

 + -1 moreA few of fthe customer services representatives I have spoken to at American Electric Power have been really professional, helpful,understanding and others not so much. I called American Electric Power for the third time 4/1/2014 to get a resolution of the extra charges on my account $243.00.

Description of Work: Called to get an understanding of the bill I received as a first time homeowner since the condo is not being lived in yet. The rep was very rude and spoke to me as if I asked the dumbest questions. I was trying to make sure that I understood how things worked so that I could find ways to save money. Horrible customer service!
