 + -1 moreCalled All Pro Overhead Garage Door Systems, after taking th Big Deal offer. Ordered the service on Sept 7th. Got an appt for Sept 29th. Mr. Miller (owner) told me who the tech would be doing the work , Shannon. He told me the window time would be from 8am to 10am. Shannon was at my door at 8am. He was very nice and easy to talk too. Did a great job. Explained all my questions.. I would use this company again if needed.
Description of Work: Took Angie's List up on a 'Big Deal" on garage door maintenance. Had my two car garage door inspected. The tech from All Pro inspected the tracks and changed all the rollers. Then he lubricated the track. He inspected the springs that raise the door and lubricated them also. Explained how the springs work . I was interested in finding out what happens when the springs brake. How dangerous that would be if a car was going into the garage. He explained the mechanics of the system.

 + -1 moreMy garage door could not be opened so I called to set up an appointment to have the garage door repaired. The service repairman arrived as promised and replaced the cable and other broken hardware parts. He was very courteous and did an excellent job. I was originally quoted a higher estimate for the replacement of springs but I didn't need springs after all. Instead, the cable needed to be replaced and the total cost was less than expected. Plus an additional discount from Angie's List was honored. I would definitely recommend All Pro Overhead Doors for anyone needing a garage door repaired.
Description of Work: Repairs were made on my (two-car) garage door. The cable on the garage door was broken and so it was replaced. Some of the original hardware was also replaced. The broken cable and rusted hardware were removed.

 + -1 moreI participated in one of Angie's List's Big Deals and bought this service in June for my garage door. Although there was no major problem with the garage door, I thought it might be useful to have it checked. I set up the appointment and Shannon called me when he was nearby. He was actually a bit lost and I helped guide him to my home. He looked over the door and changed the rollers, tightened the chain, and performed the rest of the tuning. Afterwards, he pointed out some cracking in the top panel that he thought I might want to have looked at; he pointed out that it was still under warranty, so it would be covered and he gave me the name of the company that took care of those doors. I appreciated that. He also suggested that I use WD-40 a few times a year on the rollers and hinges to keep the door in shape. He was done in less than half an hour and I was very pleased with my noticeably quieter and smoother flowing door.
Description of Work: One-car garage door tuned and rollers replaced.

 + -1 morecalled on thursday..Shannon was able to come over the following monday and replaced the spring and rod he had everything he needed with him..we then realize that a gear was stripped in the opener...he gave me the option of have just the gear replaced or replacing the whole opener...since the opener was so old we decided to replace the whole thing...he was there three days later replaced the opener in about hour..i would highly recommend this company..never pressured me into buying anything..also had 25.00 off coupon that he accepted with no problem...they also added a brace across the door for stability...

 + -1 moreOne spring broke on our garage door over the weekend. I had to lift the door myself to get the cars out. I put a call in to All Pro but I assume they were out for the holiday weekend. They had an emergency number but we had the cars out so I didn't bother. I called them first thing Tuesday before they had a chance to get back to me. They said they could send a guy out between 2-4 but he might be late. He ended up running a little late and, as promised, they called to let me know. The technician was friendly and quick.

 + -1 moreJoe was VERY responsive in answering my call requesting service and following up as promised. They originally came out to replaces rollers and service the overhead door. My door is an original - over 50 years old and they could not easily replace the rollers. The service man instead did an overall lubrication/maintenance and adjustment of the door tension. He explained what he was doing at every step of the way and showed me how i could service it myself. I was impressed with professionalism and attitude. The door works great.

The repairman was able to come within 45 minutes and completed the replacement of the springs in an efficient manner. We paid him for the replacement of the springs. He explained what he was going to do, then did the repairs and finally reviewed the work and made some recommendations for preventative measures.  + -1 moreThe phone staff are very helpful and friendly. The repair technician was very friendly and thoughful. I requested that he put an All Pro sticker next to our garage door opener so we can contact them if we ever need assistance again.
Description of Work: One of our garage door springs had broken. We called All Pro and they were able to have someone repair our garage door the same day. The repair technician called ahead per our request and he showed up exactly on time. He performed the repair quickly, and after he sized up the situation, he made only one trip out to his truck to get all of the tools and parts that he needed. Since it was a rainy day, it was very thoughful that he did not trapse through our house multiple times. He also fixed our garage door opener button. It was not lighting, so he switched the wires around and now we have a light on our opener button! Very nice! He showed me how the door needs to be balanced to show that the correct spring was installed. He adjusted the opener so that it will go back up if it hits something, it had been previously incorrectly adjusted. When I inquired about the noise that the door makes when opening, he offered to oil the rollers. He said that if the oil doesn't work we would have the option of replacing the rollers. The oil worked. Wow, what a difference that makes! We can see now why this company is rated well in Angie's List. I highly recommend them.

I had other companies tell me the whole door had to be replaced for over $750 even though I had just had a new spring put on and there was nothing wrong with the rails. All-pro came over and immediately agreed that only the panels and the top strut needed to be replaced (it was bent).
