All-American was great to work with. They were at the pick-up site early and had the saw loaded and secured before I even arrived (5 minutes before our scheduled time.) The move was seamless and the guys were able to get the saw into the basement with very little trouble. They were conscientious and courteous. I would never have been able to move it myself. AND, they came in under the quoted price!

In the end however they did their thing after the haggling about things and their 45 minute lunch they charged me for 9 hours and 15 minutes and it came out to more than $1500. At the time when they are shocking me with this bill they are asking me about, "Didn't the owners talk to you about a price cap?" NOW you are talking to me about a price cap? I was so angry. I didn't do anything. I gave them their $1500 and that was that.

The guy that didn't help out stood in the bedroom the whole time. I asked him shouldn't he be helping he stated that he didn't have the correct tools to do the job. They could have finished a lot faster if he would have helped out. The second guy that was mediocre kept apologizing over and over the whole time they were there. They were pretty good at the new place, moving things to where they should be. They got off the plastic they put down and got the carpet dirty and they wiped it with a blue rag which dyed my carpet. They didn't ask where my clothes should go just crammed everything in the closets. The only good thing out of this is nothing such as furniture was damaged. Just the hassle with them. I think it took to long for them to finish the move with three guys.

As there are only 1000 characters allowed for the report, I really can not convey the events. I am very unhappy with the company. Tony missed two appointments for estimates, which could have prevented some problems. They did not complete the move for a reason that seems suspicious, and they did not bother to tell us they weren t going to complete the move until late in the day after they apparently made the decision and only after repeated phone calls from me requesting information, making it difficult to quickly find a replacement. They then charged the credit card I had provided to hold the move date without providing a promised invoice first. The amount charged is significantly greater than any amount I can calculate from the statement of work hours left by the crew that performed part of the work, and to date they have failed to respond to repeated requests from me for an itemized invoice. The crews that actually did the work were good, which is why I gave a D rather than an F.

Excellent experience. I chose them because they were on Angie's List and were also recommended by my Realtor (the only mover they recommend). Tony came to my house before giving me an estimate. And he offered me a "not to exceed" price, so I didn't have to worry about the cost running over my budget. The movers had positive, service-oriented attitudes. They worked well as a team, and had great senses of humor, too. They asked me questions when needed and pointed out several challenges (which was helpful to me). They wrapped each piece of wood and upholstered furniture with plastic to prevent damage. Nothing broken/nothing lost during this move!

This turned out to be a 3 stage move. The initial move was to have excess furniture get removed from the house to make it show better for moving. No problem with phase 1. The movers in all cases were friendly and hard working. The second stage was the big pack and move. Packing was not done well. Delicate books were tossed in carelessly and some furniture got banged up. When they moved us in, they forgot to bring the first load from storage. When we moved, they didn't label boxes carefully and stuff ended up all over the house and had to be opened to know where it was going. And, stuff looked like it was tossed into our shed. Finally, the initial load was delivered and some items we found out were broken (couple pictures and some nicks on furniture). Furniture was old and tough to prove anything. All the stuff made it, we still haven't received the broken picture repaired and I tipped for all the visits about $400. Moving is always tough but this was not good.

Great! They were efficient and good at rearranging the items I had already put in the unit to make room and try to fit everything in.

I was very pleased with All-American Moving. The men arrived promptly and were extremely polite. I was impressed by the care they took with the furniture. They never stopped working, from the time they came, until they had everything done. I highly recommend them.

There were a few issues we had with this company. First, they came 45 min. late in an unmarked van (because they ran out of vans), and were not in uniform. In both the old and the new house, there was damage done. A wood banister and drywall in the old house, our poplar stairs and banister in the new house, and some drywall there as well. They also damaged the washing machine, which required a service call and repair. When I called to inform them of the damages, they wanted to wait until the washing machine was fixed, and for us to send a receipt and an evaluation form. Once we sent in the forms and receipt, it was returned to us in the mail as an undeliverable address, we then faxed it, only to receive a letter stating because it had been so long, that they would not do anything to reimburse or attempt to remedy the situation. I would recommend only using them for non valuable item moves.

From the moment a gentleman answered the phone when I called to make the appointment until the last item was moved into our home, everyone on the staff was amazing! They were fast, super friendly and worth every penny! They were also the company that quoted me the lowest price. I have already recommended them to friends!

I called All-American on a Thursday afternoon to see in I could schedule this small move within the next week. The did one better, the offered to do it the following day and even deducted the trip charge because they were in the area. Per my request, they called me 1/2 hour prior arrival and arrived on time. The did an AMAZING job..everything, including the clock was wrapped and protected and moved professionally. The guys were as friendly as the were quick...the whole thing took less than 2 hours!!! The even helped me take my old furniture from GV to the Salvation Army. All this for more than 1/2 of what other companies would have charged me. I will definitely use this company for all my future moving needs.

It was a good experience. Since it was a small move, they were able to fit us in within a few days. They were very affordable as compared to other moving companies. They were punctual and polite. We'll use them again.

Two men and a truck were at the house well before the time necessary. They were very polite and worked diligently and professionally to move everything I needed.

Movers were on time dressed in uniforms looked and acted like pros, the whole time never been called sir so many times in my whole life

The men from the company were very nice and very polite. The professionalism was second to none. Couldn't have had a better move.

THE MOVERS WERE POLITE, CAREFUL. PARTICULARLY THE LEAD MOVER WAS EXCELLENT. THEY DID, HOWEVER SCRATCH THE LOWER PART OF THE CHINA CABINET WHEN REMOVING OR REPLACING THE TOP.

TONY WAS VERY HELPFUL - GREAT SERVICE. I HAD A LOT OF UNUSUAL ASPECTS TO THE MOVE, ESPECIALLY WITH THE POD, AND ALSO BECAUSE OF UNEXPECTED AND HEAVY CONSTRUCTION ON MY STREET. THEY WERE VERY FLEXIBLE AND FRIENDLY. IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE MY POD DELIVERED TO THEIR FACILITY. THE MOVERS WERE LATER THAN EXPECTED, BUT FRIENDLY AND GOT WHAT I NEEDED DONE. THEY WORKED HARD AT MY APARTMENT. ONE OF THE MOVERS SEEMED PRETTY INEXPERIENCED; THE OTHER MOVER WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND CLEARLY VERY EXPERIENCED. OVERALL, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM. GOOD PRICE, GOOD SERVICE, AND GREAT FOR A CRUNCH LIKE I WAS IN.

FIRST MOVE WAS REALLY GOOD, SOME PROBLEMS DURING THE SECOND MOVE. SOME UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR. THE PROBLEMS WERE ALL DEALT WITH IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER.

THREE MEN AND A TRUCK ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO KEEP CARPET CLEAN, HANDLE BOXES AND FURNITURE WITH CARE, TOOK A CORRECT INVENTORY, REMOVED AND REPLACED DOORS AS NECESSARY, COURTEOUS TO EACH OTHER AND TO US, FAST AND EFFICIENT. WE HAVE TWO ADDITIONAL MOVES (AT LEAST) AND WILL REQUEST THE SAME EMPLOYEES. THEY WERE DONE IN 2 HOURS. WE WERE AMAZED. WE HAD SEVERAL QUOTES AND THIS WAS THE BEST ONE. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE.

I CALLED MANY MOVERS BUT DIDN'T WANT TO PAY A FORTUNE FOR A FEW MINUTES WORK. THIS COMPANY BID MUCH LOWER, CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF WORK AND TIME IT WOULD TAKE, GAVE ME A VERY FAIR PRICE AND ARRIVED THE SAME DAY, WITHIN HOURS OF MY REQUEST. I WAS VERY PLEASED!

MY CREW OF DAVID, WALT, AND LARRY WERE COURTEOUS, EXTREMELY COMPETENT, AND WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY MANY TIMES TO PROVIDE EXTRA CARE FOR MY PRECIOUS BELONGINGS. THE HOUSE WAS LEFT CLEAN AND TIDY. I COULDN'T BE MORE PLEASED.
