Greg and Nate delivered a television easel from Restoration Hardware when promised. Beverly in the office knew about the shipment before it was on their dock and was very pleasant to talk to. These guys were great and a pleasure to work with. They were extremely friendly and customer centric. I would not hesitate to call on them for other moving needs. Thanks guys!

Dave Sr and Trevor Gullion were fantastic. They were polite and friendly and the work they did was excellent. The two of them carried in three large heavy pieces of furniture after first preparing the floors and rooms. They put the pieces together and explained what they had done. We could not be more pleased.
As a side note, as a gay couple, we were so pleased that the guys never even batted an eye when one of them asked
"where would you and your husband like this centered?"
That one word meant the world to me. Thanks!

Trevor and Greg delivered a dining table, chairs, and bar stools. They were extremely professional and thorough. When they arrived they prepped the house to ensure there would be no damage during delivery. They carefully and efficiently delivered the furniture with a positive attitude even though the pieces were awkward and heavy and access to our home was challenging. We'd definitely recommend All American for future moving/delivery services.

They did a great job. We have a lot of high end furniture that needs to be moved carefully. It is also very heavy. They moved things carefully, wrapped them up so that they wouldn't break in the moving van, and unloaded and delivered in a professional manner.
I highly recommend All American Moving and Storage. I have used them before and will use them again.

I'll start out with I expect a response from All American that will essentially say my expectations were not in line with what they had quoted me and I should have read the contract. The contract is not 100% clear and also I would expect the company to be more thorough with setting their expectations with customers. If the company agent had told me a breakdown of the move, move into storage, and the cost to move again from storage to my new home I would have been fine, but that is not the case. The lack of attention to detail from the former employee of the company caused huge issues with my move and made the time of moving into a new home more stressful than it should have been. From price to communication - my experience has been less than stellar to say the least.
Well... to begin with it started out ok. I contacted online to get a quote. I received a response and reviewed it. It was about $500 or so less than the other quotes I had received so I decided to go with them. My original move to WV was about $300 less than the quote I received from All American. This move was an out of state move (back to Ohio) so they were to drive there in the morning, pack that day, then finish the move the following day. There was no communication from them until I called to find out when they would be there on the date of the move. We were told they would be there about 11 a.m. and waited and waited. I contacted the company about 11:30 to see if they were going to be there soon and was told yes. They showed up I believe it was about 1-2. I had packed everything so all that needed done was to load. The movers themselves were very nice and did a great job loading everything up. End of story for now since my items went to storage for 4 months.
When I contacted to find out about setting up the final move into our home I was given a quote for an additional amount I was to be charged. When I questioned why I would have to pay I was told that my original quote was only for the move out and into storage and not into my home. I would expect this to be communicated to me by the company associate if I was going to have to pay again when I needed the final move. But, unfortunately, the employee who did my quote was no longer employed by the company. I went back and forth with them via email several times trying to resolve the matter. I eventually had to get a manager, Dan Dragin, involved to help figure it all out. He told me that normally the quote would include the move back into my home and was sorry that it was not. While I understand that people make mistakes, I expect that the company would stand by an employees statement. I was told in email at the beginning of the whole process that I would have no additional costs associated with my move. I understood this to mean that the price I paid in April was all I would pay. They understood it to mean that I had to pay for the move out of storage and into my home. To me it was 1 move with storage, to them it was 2 moves and storage and each action required payment. Dan did take care of the storage costs for us, which I expected to not have to pay for anyways, as from how I understood the contract it was included, but they interpreted it as an additional cost. We finally gave in and said fine since it was going to cost us more time and money to hire a new moving company. We decided to just have them unload everything the day of the move into our home into the garage with the exception of the big stuff. They arrived on time this time and the movers themselves, once again, were great. I helped them unload and it took about 2-3 hours total. There was one piece of furniture damaged, which were told it would be repaired and then delivered back to us. I asked about getting the furniture back in the email I sent to them when I found out about the final charges (1 week after the move). I was told it was being repaired and would be delivered back to me.
After the unload was finished I signed the final statement showing a cost of $438. Which was fine since the orignal estimate from them was for $850-$1050. Though we ended up getting charged approx. $150 more than the price on the Bill of Lading. Apparently the Field Supervisor underestimated the charges and we were charged the additional amount... without being told they were going to. When I questioned them about it I was told that the BOL states that if the final charge is miscalculated it would be corrected (either up or down in cost). Which I would not have an issue with if we were told about it. Or at least if someone would have called and told us "hey, we made a mistake on the final charges and will be billing you roughly $150 more than the paperwork says"., but no they went ahead and charged without letting us know. Thankfully the funds were in the account.
Back to my furniture I hadn't received yet... I got a call (I was unable to answer and called back the next day) about 2 weeks after the move and was told it was ready. After I called them back and spoke with a woman I was told they'd call back, which they never did. I had to call again today (3 weeks after our move in date) and was told they can deliver it on certain days of the week. I opted to just get it myself. I am ready to be one with them.
To me it seems like communication and organization are not the company's strong point. My point is to make sure you read the contract and make sure it states, directly and very specifically, every little detail. I would ask for a detailed estimate of what the cost is for each stage of the move and for a detailed bill for each charge (only provided to me after I questioned the cost of everything). A more thorough setting of expectations and more detail in the contract could have eliminated this whole mess. Thankfully we are done moving and will not have to deal with them ever again. Of course after I finally get my furniture back 3 weeks later.

All American Moving and Storage is a great company with equally great people. I have used them on several occassions for a whole house move to moving one piece of equipment that was too heavy and bulky for my to do.
They arrived each time on time, and are currently storing the items at their warehouse. We recently needed to do an inventory for estate purposes and they arrange an employee to help us get the information needed.

We are extremely satisfied with the entire experience. The company was very quick to not only provide a quote online, but also to send someone out to meet with us and go through the entire process and a more detailed quote, in person. They were able to accomodate the weekend we wanted (despite relatively short notice), with no issues. Packers came a day before the move -t hey were extremely thorough, wrapping all delicate items individually. The move took most of the day - I can't say enough good things about the crew of 3 movers. They were extremely polite, friendly, professional, and, most importantly, very efficient. They were pretty much going non-stop for most of the day, with almost no breaks in between. They managed to squeeze everything into 1 truck load, which saved us a lot of money and time. Nothing was damaged and the final cost came well within the quoted range. Moving is always stressful, but these guys definately helped to make it as painless as possible - could not have hoped for a better outcome!

American Moving and Storage was great. I had a limited time span to move, and they made sure to accomidate my schedule. The movers showed up on time and called me when they were 10 minutes away. They came in and looked through all the rooms (basement, first floor, and second floor). Upon estimation with my original call, they assumed I would need two trucks, the guys were such expert packers they got everything into one truck! They were very efficent and careful when moving the furniture. Everything was wrapped and padded and we had no destruction done to any of our belongings during the move. After getting everything moved into the new house, they made sure everything was put back together and boxes were in the proper rooms before they left. Also, they left no mess in the house when they left and took all their trash with them. I will definitely use them for my next move!

As I recall, there were some issues about them being late. They did call beforehand, and once they showed up, they were nice and seemed to do a good job. They were knowledgeable and careful with wrapping up the furniture in plastic and bubble wrap. I haven’t seen the furniture in about six years, but I do plan to get it out of storage some day.

This was a horrible experience. We were quoted a price and walk through with them. The price we paid was significantly higher then we were quoted, the only reason given was it was a hot day and it took longer then expected. They nicked up walls, the management was horrible to deal with and they never assisted anyway with the damages they caused.

They’re great! Because they’ve had a good reputation, they are one of the premier referrals for the board of realtors in Columbus. They were polite, professional, and showed up on time. Everything went well. I know a lot of people that have used them, since not only do they have moving services, they also have storage facilities as well. Sometimes they even offer discounts on storage. I’m a home stager, so if people need a mover or a storage facility, I recommend All-American Moving & Storage!

They were contracted by NVC Logistics to deliver my Tempurpedic Mattress. They Received it on 7/16, and called to make an appointment on 7/17, They claimed their first delivery opening was the 26th, (Today) from 930-1:30. I was not thrilled about the long delay for delivery but I accepted it. Now come Delivery day, First they were obligated by NVC to call 1 day before delivery to confirm times, they did not do this. Also in the Service agreement with NVC they were to call morning of delivery to confirm the delivery window. They again failed to do this.
I patiently waited until 1130, when I called to inquire if the delivery was on schedule. I was told that nothing seemed out of the ordinary and I should have it by 130. Come 145 and still no delivery, so I called back and again inquired, they said things were delayed a little and to expect them by 330 and the operations manager would call me to confirm the delivery time.
Ok, so I again wait until 350 (No call, no delivery) and call them yet again. This time I was told that they would get there when they can and that they never have these problems so I shouldn't be concerned in a VERY rude manner, because it's not All-Americans fault there are delivery delays (Up to this point there had been no weather or traffic issues in Columbus). I was also then told to expect a call within 30 minutes with a firm delivery time.
After waiting an hour with no call, I call back at 430 and am told that I am a dumb "idiot" (I will not use the actual word they said) to expect that they should have kept me informed when they could not keep their delivery schedules. I finally got out of them that their drivers would be delivering today.
I then waited and the bed was finally delivered at 730pm! 6 hours after their original delivery windows was past! After speaking with the driver they didn't even start until almost noon and my delivery was the last on their route! They had no shot at ever making it on time and All-American Moving Operations team KNOWINGLY LIED TO ME by saying that it would arrive before 130 the first time and 330 the second.
A couple of quick disclaimers:At All-American the Customer Service agent April was as helpful as she could be given that her operations folks were not telling her the truth. Also the actual drivers were very professional and good natured, I can't give these folks anything but praise for their work.
The major complaint is about the All-American Operations team managers that I am so disappointed with. (Both men I spoke to on the phone never once gave their names)
I understand delays happen, and routes can get messed up, But Communication is Key, Had they bothered to contact me even once (They never called once after setting the appointment) to let me know about the delays I would not have rated them so poorly. But then I was told I was a, and I quote "Dumb S***", by one employee for thinking I deserved to be kept informed of my delivery status.
I will never recommend them based on their operations teams customer service skills for ANY reason.
I have also filed formal complaints with Tempurpedic and NVC Logistics to report this lack of professionalism as when buying such a pricey bed and paying for delivery you deserve a much better experience than I got.
Also I feel that holding an item and waiting 8 days to schedule a delivery is unacceptable, this should have been delivered within 4 business days of receipt for good customer experience, but that's not a factor in this review.
