+ 1 moreAbsolutely phenomenal work, I don't have enough good things to say about these guys! Found them from an ad in the Madison Messenger, gave them a call last Monday, and they were able to make arrangements to come out to West Jeff not even a week later. The bobcat operator, Joe, was just a great guy, and the precision with which he operated that machine was amazing. The work was in tight tolerances and required excavating right up to the side of a house, but he had no problems getting a clean cut, grading the area, and laying down a perfectly sloped crushed limestone base that's ready for concrete. The results far exceeded any of my expectations. For reference, roughly 35 cubic yards of dirt and stone were excavated and hauled off for disposal. Joe was very easy to work with, and had some great recommendations. Very glad to have had him out for this project--I seriously couldn't be happier with the results, and the overall cost of everything was quite reasonable. Highly recommend!

+ 0 moreThe do believe the story is in the above area. But will and one thing the driver did take more time to make sure we were happy were he placed the gravel then we ever excepted someone to do. Again A+++++++ to Alexander Hauling wish I had called them before and saved my self $275.00 for the first load of gravel that went no were.
Description of Work: I called the Alexander Hauling Company for price of 10 tons of gravel delivered to my home. The last Company we hired we feel did not give us the 10 tons we ordered as it did not last more then 5 months. We feel the last company that I have sent you information on did not do the job right at all. Alexander Hauling answered the phone right away and I spoke with Bonnie. She gave me all the prices for the gravel and told me other thing about gravel i did not know. I then could make a good knowledgeable judgement on the cost for the driveway. Called back and booked my order and day for the delivery.The friendlyness of Bonnie was great even with her busy on the dispatching with the drivers took time with me, to understand my problem with the truck and our overhead wires. She then said she would send out one of her best drivers to bring the truck up and down the driveway so we did not have to move too much of the gravel ourshelf. I would give this company and staff a A+++++ and the customer service is far the best we have come across in a long time.

Description of Work: They quoted us a price that was extremely competitive with other local haulers. The delivery of the topsoil occurred at the time frame they told us. The pulverized topsoil was a nice quality and we were able to easily move it with a garden rake and shovel.

+ -1 moreIt went unbelievable. I was referred to them by my neighbor. I was going to go with Jones , but figured I'd try a new company to check them out. Their price was lower than Jones' at 13 tons but at 26 they were virtually the same. However, I like working with smaller companies and I believe it is family run. They were honest and all about making the customer happy.
Description of Work: We received approximately 26 tons of gravel (57 limestone) for our driveway. Alexander delivered it on time as they said and tailgated it to perfection. They even offered me to not get the second load (13 tons each after looking at the driveway with the first load. I opted to still get the second load. Furthermore, they helped me rake my driveway (moved the gravel to low spots) before and after the new stone was laid down. They went above and beyond what they had to do.

+ 1 moreThe work went well. The work was completed on a Saturday morning. Although Pat was late, but called to inform me that he was running behind. Pat used a Bobcat to move the stone from the street to my backyard. He was careful to make turns in the street and in the patio area to reduce the wear on my yard from the Bobcat. He also brought a laser that he allowed us to use to make measurements and place markers around the patio to help with leveling. Pat is a really nice guy and is willing to assist in any way possible.
Description of Work: Alexander Hauling dug the base for my paver patio and hauled away the extra dirt. They also hauled in 13 ton of 46D stone for the base and put it in the patio area.
