Not many know this, but Ann Alaia Woods was the winner World Handwriting Champ-Pen for three consecutive years. After her third year in a row of winning the title, she voluntarily stepped down from competition. She is very precise, very professional, reasonable, asking a fair price for the work she does. The work - to my eye - was flawless. I was so intrigued with the work, that I ended up enrolling in a series of calligraphy classes. I found the classes to be well-organized, professional, and the historical account of calligraphy amazing. The other thing that stood out was how encouraging she was to all of us as she reviewed our work individually. There was only one way to create the lettering, precise and correct, and she was a champion of doing things right. Who would want it any other way? I would not hesitate to recommend Ann Alaia Woods of AimiaArt.com for any lettering or instruction needed. Her teaching / working art studio is harmonious and inviting. The walls display many of her pieces from different areas of expertise.
Description of Work: I needed calligraphic lettering for an art exhibit labels at the Jung Haus - CG JUNG Association of Central Ohio. Then later, I needed calligraphy instruction to complete a piece of artwork for a family who wanted the family tree history and a rendering of a Japanese Maple - significant to their family.

+ -1 moreAnn is a very nice person who has lots of energy and is very easy to work with. She has a very professional approach to her work and makes sure she gets her work done on time. Her work is absolutely beautiful and she strives to please all of her customers. All of my friends have said the same thing about her as well.
Description of Work: Ann made wedding invitations for my daughter's wedding as well as did some work for some of my friends daughters, although this was quiet some time ago.
