+ -1 moreThey came within 24 hours of my initial call to give estimate ( got several). I called and left a message that we would like them to do the work. Work was completed within 36 hours of initial call. They are very courteous and work quickly. Clean-up considering the weather and yard conditions ws excellent. They did everything we asked of them and the price was fair.
Description of Work: Tore down old shed and above ground swimming pool. Hauled away, demolished shed, pool and unwanted contents of the shed. Cut down several scrub trees that were growing up in the pool.

+ -1 moreI called three companies for estimates and Agape's (with the coupon) was the lowest. We had ordered a new sofa and needed to wait until it was being delivered before we discarded the old one so I called ahead by several weeks. However, Agape requires very little lead time. When I had a date for delivery of the new sofa, I called Agape to give them a firm date for hauling. They accommodated the date I needed and were very prompt, professional, courteous and careful. I would definitely recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Agape Services hauled away a very heavy dual reclining sofa and a roll top bookcase desk.

In addition to hauling away the items they also helped move in the new couch we just purchased. They worked very quickly and efficiently. I would use them again.

Description of Work: I neede to have my shed torn down and removed from the property. Mr. Smith and his partner came out and did such a great job that I would not hesitate to hire them for other services. They went about the job as if they were living there, they cleaned up better than I expected.

+ -1 moreAgape is GREAT!!! They were able to accommodate my extremely tight schedule and ended up coming out the same afternoon I called. This was less than a week before Christmas, so I was VERY appreciative for their willingness to work with me. They were polite, courteous, friendly and prompt. I would recommend them to anyone and would hire them again in a heartbeat!!
Description of Work: They removed a king mattress, box springs and frame from our home and brought in a queen size mattress, box springs and frame.

While I'd use them again, they were perhaps a bit more expensive than I would have liked, but the extra $25-50 was worth having the project done in a speedy and reliable way.
Description of Work: They removed 200 sq ft of hardwood flooring that had been taken up, an apartment stove, old microwave and a couple kitchen cabinets.

+ -1 moreAgape was responsive and efficient. The workmen were friendly and helpful. I called Agape at 7:30 am and was surprised at how quickly they returned my call. By 8:30 they had sent two people to my house to see the job. When they realized what equipment they needed to clean out the basement, where the sewer had backed up, they quickly got the equipment and returned. The whole job was completed in an hour and the workmen then hauled away some furniture and other things we had in our old house and in our garage.
Description of Work: The workmen cleaned out the basement where the sewer had backed up. They also dug out some of the mess in the drain. Plus they did some hauling for me of old furniture and other items.

+ -1 moreThey were available when we needed them--even able to change the time slightly at the last minute when we asked--and were very polite, prompt and professional. The sofa was heavy and they had to carry it a long way, so we thought the price was extremely reasonable (actually they asked for $30 but we offered them $40), one third to one fourth of the prices quoted by other moving companies! An excellent experience overall.
Description of Work: Moved a sofa from the first floor to basement. Had to take it out the front door and walk all the way around the house to get it in the basement through the garage.

Description of Work: We have used this company many times in the past for hauling and moving things from place to place. They have been consistantly reliable, dependable and reasonably-priced. Occasionally we have called them last minute and they have always tried to occomodate us. The last time I called him, I was going to a rental unit where tenants had just moved out. Unfortunately, the well-meaning tenants had left an entire apt full of junk, particle board shelves, mattresses, etc in the front yard to be hauled away. I didn't have much time to waste on this and didn't know if they had made arrangements for the city or a private company to take it away. I doubted it. I called Agape and within the hour, everything was gone for the reasonable price of $200.
