ACCOLADE HEATING & COOLING LLC

I spoke with Roscoe at 11:00 a.m. Told him I had no heat and the furnace was not running/pilot light was out. He said he would be at my home in 3 hours. He called 1/2 hour before he arrived and was here in 2 1/2 hours. He diagnosed the problem (corroded thermocouple & pilot out) and video inspected the heat exchanger and found no cracks or other problems. He explained the repairs needed and told me how much it would cost before he proceeded with the work. He installed a new thermocouple, cleaned the pilot burner and checked the furnace filter. Roscoe was very polite and professional and did not try to sell me something I didn't need. Amazingly, I have a furnace that is 42 years old and after his thorough inspection said the furnace was in very good shape for one that old. I asked him to give me an approximate estimate for a new furnace & air conditioner when I decide to replace the old ones. He gave me an approximate estimate and advised that the new Rheem furnaces were much more efficient and would save me money on my gas bills. He patiently and graciously provided information I requested with no pressure whatsoever to buy new ones. I am very pleased with Roscoe - Accolade Heating & Cooling. I will definitely call him for any future repairs and when I decide to replace my furnace & air conditioner.

Accolade provides a reliable furnace (Rheem) and installation is done very well. I believe Accolade is a one man company, namely Roscoe, and he does an outstanding job. He was extremely knowledgeable about the product and installation. With some hvac contractors, I worry that some work (such as electrical) may be outsourced to a less qualified contractor, or someone else involved may not have as much experience / training. With Accolade, Roscoe did 100% of the work and I was very pleased. Also, when dealing with Accolade, I always spoke with the company owner, Roscoe - and you have a single contact who can make decisions whether it was regarding installation prefereces, price, or appointment timing. He did a great job, and I'd use him again.

Roscoe came out to look at our furnace. There wasn't anything broken on it, but we have lived in our house for 3 years and hadn't had anything done to it before. He cleaned up some rust that was in the furnace. There are a couple of parts that will need to be replaced within the next couple of years. He told us how much they would cost, so that we would be prepared for the replacements when necessary. He didn't push any of the fixes on us now since they are currently not required-he just said we'll fix them when they break, but now that we are aware of them, we'll be prepared to pay for the fixes when necessary!

THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. I CALLED AMERICAN HOME SHIELD INSURANCE, TO REQUEST REPAIR ON MY FURNACE. NOT LONG AFTER, ACCOLADE CALLED TO SCHEDULE A TIME, FOR THAT SAME DAY. ROSCOE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY HELPFUL. HE THEN CAME OUT A FEW DAYS LATER TO CHECK WHY THE FURNACE FAN WOULD NOT KICK OFF. HE FOUND A MISPLACED WIRE IN THE THERMOSTAT, AND SAID HE WOULD NOT CHARGE FOR THE SECOND CALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES HIGHLY. (WITHOUT INSURANCE, THE COST WOULD HAVE BEEN $270.00)

The end of the summer and the air conditioning system goes out! We called Accolade and Roscoe was at our house the next day. After a full inspection, it was determined that the system needed to be replaced. He charged the system to get us buy for a couple of days until the new unit could be installed. The work was done in a very professional manner.
