Above & Beyond Cleaning by Rose Byers

Rose is very good at communicating and asking about how one wants their house cleaned. She is attentive to detail, and her friendliness provides a personal touch that I prefer to some of the other cleaning services in Columbus. She even got pads for my chairs when they were scratching the floor, and she will notice and provide tips on how to fix things. "Above and beyond" is appropriate in describing Rose's services.

We were always pleased with her work. Only reason we stopped using her was that I am recently retired and am taking care of that myself. jim

Rose is great! She is thorough and dependable. She does a fantastic job and has been cleaning for me for 10+ years. I found her on Angie's List years ago. I was looking for one house cleaner, as opposed to a company that might rotate different cleaners through your home. I have been using her ever since. I supply the cleaning supplies and she does her thing while I'm at work. I come home to a fresh, clean, sparkling house.

Rose always does a great job. She is extremely reliable in coming as scheduled. She is very trustworthy. She also shows a lot of initiative in figuring out what needs to be done without needing explicit instructions. I have used her for several years and plan to keep her on indefinitely. Rose is exceptional. Very pleasant, thorough, and professional. She is willing to adjust if we have special needs. Always checks if we want anything done differently or have issues with her work. (we never do). She is very responsible with the care of our home. We have 2 dogs, which she works around when needed and lets out if we are not home. Rose is very thorough and wants to know if there are any problems with what she has done. She has cleaned houses for 33 years to knows what products work best. She left a pet hair sweeper at my home that was an extra from a client so I can use it "in between" since I have two cats. If for some reason she is running late or needs to change her arrival time, she lets me know.

Rose is a gem. Her business is appropriately named. She does go above and beyond what might reasonably be expected. I have rated her highly in every category because she has earned it. Every room in my house is spotless when she leaves. I have been seriously ill for most of the last 4 years and she has been incredibly helpful not only in cleaning my house but in helping with a variety of tasks that I was not able to perform for myself. Rose does a very thorough cleaning, being very careful with dusting on shelves with items. Cleans counters and cabinets, wipes woodwork on doors and frames, mops kitchen and bath floors. She uses our equipment and products because we want her too - special brands and filters on vacuums. She works very steadily and never rushes to get to another job. We have employed Rose for around 15 years and have always been pleased with her work and pleasant personality.

Since I am ill and usually at home when Rose cleans, I have been able to observe her very detailed, efficient, and expert cleaning method. I was surprised, for example, to see that she was somehow able to clean caked-on residue surrounding one of the stove's burners that I had given up on. She also often finds dirty or dusty nooks and crannies that I had hardly noticed. Normally, she uses her own preferred products (but will readily adapt to those the client prefers, including "green" items), which the client pays for and keeps in the house. Rose is her own most exacting critic and asks that any missed or unsatisfactory areas be brought to her attention. She takes great pride in her work and does everything possible to meet and exceed expectations. She works alone (but can bring an assistant for a special large job) and is quite friendly and pleasant to be around if you are there while she is cleaning. To sum up, Rose is experienced, reliable, resourceful, and thoroughly professional. I consider myself lucky to have found her. If she has an open spot, I recommend reserving it, since I know she is quite busy.

Great...dependable and does a really great job

We were referred to her from our neighbor. She is detail oriented. She'll accomodate special requests easily. If I ask her to focus on one are of the house a little more or if we need deeper cleaning in a certain area, she will easily accomodate us.

Rose has been cleaning our home for about a year and has always done a great job. She is very dependable and makes arrangements well in advance if she will be unavailable which is rarely. We always enjoy coming home to a clean house after Rose has been there.

Rose was very nice from the start. She returned my initial call promptly, came out for an estimate the following day, and was able to begin the following day. She was professional and courteous from the start. So far she's been here once and did an excellent job. She stayed for quite some time and was flexible with handling a water shut-off that very day (we didn't get notice of this until the day prior). She did an excellent job and was very thorough. We are very, very pleased. She even called after she left to ensure we were happy with her work. We're looking forward to working with her for quite some time.

Rose is absolutely the best. She has cleaned my house for the past four years. Her first goal is to make sure that you are pleased with her work and her work is always excellent. She pays great attention to detail and she is very flexible when it comes to making schedule adjustments or responding to special requests. Once, while she was working, a water line broke in the house (not her fault) and she had the presence of mind to shut the main water supply down. Serious water damage would have occurred if she hadn't taken such quick action. My advice: Hire her!
