Able Roofing

Description of Work: Roof leak. I Called during storm and they came that day for estimate. The men were polite and professional...but the quote was extremely high for what they wanted to do. They wanted to replace a rusted chimney cap that does not need it and they did not offer ice guard. I went on to use another roofer. Don't go with this roofer that states they are number 1.

Description of Work: During the derecho that hit the Columbus area a few months ago, we had a significant leak in our family room, causing damage to the ceiling. Our insurance company suggested that any damage caused by that storm was likely because of poor workmanship (!), and that they wouldn't cover it (!!), and so we asked Able Roof to come out and take a look. Dan came out, was as flabbergasted as we are about the insurance company response, and set about checking out the roof. He found no significant damage, did a very minor repair to a spot that he found that he thought was probably the source of the leak, fixed some of the siding that had been bent, pulled of the fireplace cap, which had blown askew during the storm and then flopped apart during the last windy day. He gave us advice about how to take care of the repair to the siding by ourselves so that we wouldn't have to deal with filing a claim. He was courteous, professional, and very nice. He did not charge us. I will definitely use Able in the future.

Description of Work: we called for an estimate and able came out and said they were to expensive but we still needed a quote to even see if that was true or not. The man did his measurements and gave us a demo on how they work. He said he would have the quote for us the next day. So we called and they never got back to us with a quote. three weeks of calling and just getting nowhere we just decided to go with someone else. I just think if you are going to come out to some ones house you should be professional about it and Able was not.

Description of Work: Replaced three flat roofs with rubber, The workers were quite and kept sight clean. Was very pleased with the outcome and the price.

Description of Work: This is a reaccessment of my experience with Able Roofing. After my complaint of Able Roofing not contacting me about a leak after they had replaced the shingles on our office building, they called me with Angieslist urging. They pulled a skylight, relined, and reinstalled the skylight. After checking to see if the skylight no longer leaked, Able arranged for the interior damage to be repaired and have the ceiling repainted. I am very satisfied with their response and the repair. Description of Work: Very professional and did a great job. It's difficult to find all of the roofing nails that drop on the driveway but I think they got themm all. No flat tires yet! Beautiful roof in record time.

Description of Work: Roof repairs. I called them for estimate after the recent storm. Unfortunately, their estimator could not look at my roof until mid October(about 3 weeks out). I kept the appointment just in case, but canceled them yesterday since I hired another contractor.

Description of Work: Todd from Able came out and was one of several companies that did an assessment. He inspected my roof, then we sat down and went over what was needed, then looked at what options I wanted as well as answered all my questions. It was sometime before we made a final decision, but I have to say the price quoted for a new roof (due to hail damage) was by far the most reasonable, especially since we upgraded from what we previously had. We went with a Timbertex shingle from GAF. The quality of the work performed and everyone we came in contact with has been phenomenal. I would recommend to anyone! They are a large company with quality staff!
