Able Roofing

The first time it was crooked and needed to be torn down to be rebuilt. They re-did it, and it still ended up second class work. They did refund half of the contract for the trouble after writing the manager. I'd have rather paid more and had it done right. The price was amongst the lowest bid I got.

It was great. I was very impressed. I was very nervous because I had never done this before, and I went with a well known company and had a great experience. The sales person even came to my work to explain things and go over things with me. They helped me with the whole process. I feel they knew exactly what they were doing.

It went well. I am very pleased with the service.

I had Able come out to give me an estimate on replacing our roof. They gave me an estimate and I submitted it to the insurance company. The insurance company cut a check for 1/4 of what the cost to do the work was. Able went to bat for us and with their help we got a check for 3 times the original amount the insurance company offered. I wouldn't of been able to get the work done without them advocating on our behalf. The gentlemen who did the actual work were professional and courteous. It was a very good experience.

They were efficient and when they left, the clean up was done very well. Never found a nail or debris in the yard, and when I had a concern about how the roof line looked with the interruption in the roof vent, they came out quickly saw the problem that was strictly cosmetic and modified a section of vent to make the roof line look great. Thank you ABLE.

In the end, we felt that it went very well. We are happy with the roof. They did a great job cleaning up.

They had subcontractors to do the work. There was nothing about them that really stood out.

Not a good experiance. We used them on one of our properties. Never again.

They were absolutely excellent! The salesmen was great to work with. The pricing was quite comparable to other estimates I received. The crew arrived early in the morning and were finished by 2 in the afternoon. They did a wonderful job of cleaning up after themselves as well. Later, I came across a leak in the roof after a rain storm. This caused water damage to the ceiling in my bedroom and living room. I called Able's and within 4 hours, they had someone out to look at it. They then had a crew come out to fix the roof with no charge to me. They were all professional as could be.

They are fine and good to work with.

They were very professional and worked quickly. Good customer service and quality work. They cleaned up well.

It went well. They came when they said they were going to, and it took as long as they said it would. The cost was what they predicted, and we haven't had anymore leaks. They did a great job on the masonry work. There was some confusion on the roofing part, but it did get worked out.

It went very well. In the midst of a 'rainy Fall' the crew replaced the roof on the house one day, and finished the roof over the attached garage the following morning. They worked quickly and professionally, kept me informed along the way, and cleaned up and removed all the old roof shingles and other materials.

The insurance company took over the price. They showed up right on time and they knocked the job out in two days. They did a good job. They cleaned up well and used a magnetic roller on the whole yard to make sure they got all of the nails.

They correctly fixed a flashing problem with the furnace and vent stack. They were very good, very professional and very timely.

I would recommend them to my worst enemy. They didn?t like how fast I was paying them. They had turned me into something like a credit agency because I was paying them really fast. I was not at all happy with that.

My insurance adjuster came out and agreed. In the meantime, I had him look at my two rental properties and told me one was good and one was bad. My roof on the house was done within a few weeks and the rental property was done within a month. I had their inspectors come and inspect both roofs and everything checked out fine. They were prompt, courteous, explained everything, they were great to work with.

I had a terrible experience with Able Roofing. They overcharged me for the project. They promised that they would come out several times and they missed several appointments. The first time that they said they would come out they did not bring some of the equipment and parts that they needed to complete the job. They did end up finishing the job, however it took a lot longer than I would have liked because of their missing appointments. They really ripped me off with this last project. I would never use them again in the future.

They put the roof on and they repaired it. The roof wasn?t there for 45 days and it had to be redone. They were using references for 75 miles away from the air field where in the closest one was 30 miles away. I would never ever recommend them to others. None of the people could speak English.

They told us we didn't need a new roof but just showed us where the problem was. They were great to deal with.

The first crew that came in tried to use a cheaper siding than previously discussed. After numerous complaints they started trying to patch and not use the full siding boards. Eventually, they left the job all together which left us months on end with half the siding off the home and black plastic over all our windows on the backside of our home. The second crew was sent in and actually seemed better at the time, however about a year later the siding began coming off our home. They did come back to nail back down the siding and replaced several boards. This took place in early spring so we are waiting to see if the latest efforts last as long as they should. Finally I would like to add the painter they sent out to paint the siding was supposed to put on two coats of paint, however only one was applied.

There were some problems, as the person who wrote the contract was new and he didn?t write it up correctly. So, we had to go back and talk to the managers in the office. They were nice and took the money off the bill. They also did out gutters and handled the situation very well. The people that they contracted to get the work done didn?t do an area of the house from the gutters. So, when we called them, they came right back out and did the corrections on the next day without any problems. This job was done in this spring. We did get quotes from other companies before starting the work. The quality of their work was okay, except for the gutters. They were punctual, as they got here before they actually said they were going to come. Everyone was very polite and professional.

My husband signed contract July 17, 2009, and on July 27, 2009 I had to call them to find out why they had not called us and gotten started on the shed & patio roof. On July 28, a "required" deposit check my husband wrote for $1100 suddenly cleared. So now we were "trapped" and had to use them. They then call us and say someone was coming out on July 29, 2009 , then on that day this person calls and tells my husband his crew had truck trouble and they would not be coming. Then we were told a crew was coming on August 3, 2009 at 8;30am and they show up at 10am, then go to lunch 1;30pm-2:30pm come back and work until 3:44pm. No crew shows up Tues Aug 4., we called and left message about why no one was working, no one returned call. On on Aug 10,2009 a crew with the project manager Shawn Young shows up unscheduled and they work for a little while then he tells my husband that there is some structual damage and he had made some calls to contractors and was waiting to hear back from them and until the structual work was done they could not complete the job. On Aug 14, my husband calls Able to inquiry about status of contractor and was told, "oh we do not use contractors" by their customer service representative that you have to find your own contractor and get the work done yourself. So here we are nearly 1 month later "stressing" over a job Able said would take 4 hours Able is operating a business under the philosophy of "greed" they do not care about us as a customer or even worried that they have broken a promise to get the job get done. I am absoultly distraught and angry beyond words ! We have found someone who can fix the structual damage ourselves. I want our refund money back from Able Roofing because they have been so disrespectful to us and dishonest in the way they have treated us as a customer. They can come get the unopen and unused shingles that have been laying around in our back yard for 3 weeks and give us our refund money back. This entire experience with them has been horrific and I really do not want anything else to do with them. I will find another roofing company that is more professional and values their customer . The company responded promptly with an extimate and completed the work in a timely manner at the cost agreed upon.
