Able Roofing

Appointments were kept punctually as was showing up to do the actual labor. Courteous, professional from the first appointment/quote through the follow-up appointment(s). Had a few shingles that didn't seal properly but were fixed without delay. The work team ended up using our extension ladder, too as the roof angle was very steep. I was able to barter the replacement 4x8 plywood sheets that I had to buy in trade for use of the ladder - smart move on their part! Our only complaint was the hole in the tarp they were using led to quite a few nails left behind even though they cleaned up.

I ended up with a barn roof that drips water. They told me that they knew what they doing, they did not. They left me with a humidity problem in the house. They used the cheapest possible shingles that you can buy. They installed a ridge vamp that did not work and due to the issues that it caused, it ended up causing more damage to my roof.

I think they are the greatest. They did not charge me an arm and a leg. The water was leaking through my roof on labor day. I was desperate, it was raining so hard. I called some guy from the yellow pages and he said he couldn’t do anything today but said he could put a tarp on it. So he put 2 or 3 tarps on and put too many tacks in. He was here 15 minutes and charged $450 Able wondered what they were doing. They could not figure out what he spread that tarp as far as they did. They replaced the shingles every whre he put the tarp takes (180 shingles). They didn’t charge me a lot and they even brought shingles with them. I was one happy camper. I have not stopped talking about it to people from work. If I ever have to do it again, they are going to be the ones I call.

They were fast and it looks very professionally done. The crew was nice

A rep came to our home and said many neighbors in the area were requiring new roofs because of wind damage. We allowed the rep onto our room to do a free inspection. He was up there approximately 30 minutes and his analysis was that we had significant wind damage. He broke down the pricing for us and with a $500 rebate that they were offering we would likely owe only $500 after insuance. Our insuance representative was sent out at the request of Able. Both the Nationwide rep and Able rep showed up to do a walkthru together. After approximately 1 hour on the roof the Nationwide rep said he was going to call an independant investigator to come out to assess the damage. This third party investigator results showed this was not wind damage, with about 1000 photographs worth of evidence, that our roof had been likely vandalized by the Able rep during the free inspection. The only work that had been done on our roof previously was by Able and it was legitamite wind damage repair, approximately 4 years before this incident. This incident was very disappointing. We were forced to pay our full $1000 deductible and had a company that Nationwide referred us to replace our roof. The Nationwide rep did explain this is a common problem in the roofing industry during "slow" seasons, though he did state they rarely see this issue with Able. I feel this issue was overall not the fault of Able, but probably a bad egg within the company.

We have used this company twice for issues related to the roof and chimney. Would call them again if needed. All work was completed in a timely and quality manner.

Our experience with them was pretty wonderful. They were very fast, friendly and the service was quick. They just came out and gave us advice on what we could do ourselves if we didn’t want to spend the money or they could come out and do the work for us. We ended up actually doing some of the work ourselves. That was really helpful. They did everything they could to get somebody out there as soon as possible which I thought was kind of nice. They took us like top priority was what I felt like. There was a hole in the roof that needed some caulking. Ice and snow was melting in through the window sill, from behind the siding into our window. So it was kind of an all in one deal.

After a severe storm tore shingles off my roof, I contacted Able Roofing. They came out the next morning to give me a quote. That afternoon they were back out and had repaired my roof and fixed it in a way that will prevent the wind from getting beneath the shingles again.

The roofing repair man came during agreed upon time, repaired the vent area from my kitchen remodel. He was professional and efficient. I used them when I first bought my house in 1996, they repaired a roof, leak, In 2004 I had the whole roof done, a total tear off, shingles, vent, cap for the chimney and new replacement windows, did a great job and cleanup. In 2010 I had them stucco the outside basement walls also. They have always done great work and clean up for a good price. Will use them again.

A tree had fallen on my roof and done significant damage. Our back roof was pretty much taken up by the tree so there was a lot of damage. They sat down with me and went over every detail and what the different costs would be and what was absolutely necessary, which I asked for. They were very efficient . I would use them again without giving it a second thought.

Joshua Hartsook, project manager was wonderful. He gave us a lot of information and great detail on the work to be done and the materials they would be using. The project started on time and completed as scheduled. The roof looks great. We would recommend this company to others and will use them in the future if needed.

Job was completed in one day. Work was thorough and well done. We have had no leaks since the job was completed.

Jimmy Joes was the salesman who worked with me directly, was nice and fair. He came to consult multiple times and worked with our insurance adjuster as well. The crew arrived by 8am , completed job with clean up and were out the driveway by 7pm the same day. Yard was clear of any debris and the roof looked great.

I used them a year and a half ago. I have some wind damage from my siding and they came in and fixed that. The estimate was about $250 and I thought it was a little expensive but they were there, polite, offer the price and they were on time. I thought to put it in and they had the piece of slate the order of foot and a half and that was long enough. They had it very good, still an out but looking good. I enjoy and if I have the same problem, I will give them a call again. When I call, they were here, I show them the problem, repair it, they match colors, fix it, and things like that. When I said a little expensive, I did not notice that they were the only one that I called. I am just leaving and said, wow, that is my guest, but like I said, the money was well spent.

They were thorough and competitive and offer top quality service. They also sided one side of my garage where it had been damaged.

They did a great job. They were quick! They also came back about a week later and replaced some gutters on my garage.

Estimate was too high for my budget. Excellent explanation of the what was needed and what the process would encompass.

In general, we are very pleased with the work. I had minor cleanup to do and had to remove oil stains on my relatively new concrete driveway. The estimator and crew chief worked well with us and the installers were quick and courteous.

Everything went as planned. Able coordinated their work with our contractor so there were no delays. Aaron did the stucco work, which has two stages - a base coat and, a week later, a finish coat with the pattern.

Jimmy arrived ontime for our scheduled appointment. He spent a considerable amount of time explaining roof technicallities and his observation of our roof. Jimmy inspected all sides of our home and pointed out both the good and the bad. His assessment was honest and he did not try to pressure us into a new roof.

The service was adequate. My roof blew off in a storm. He came, did the work, and left. They did a good job and worked with the price my insurance company agreed to. They gave me a quote of $8, 00 and my insurance said they would only offer $5,000. I have no problems with the quality of roof.

We contacted Able to replace our roof which we knew had damage from storms. They worked great with our insurance company to analyze what the damage was and what was needed. It turned out we not only needed an entire new roof, but some materials needed to be done from the foundation. Everything was coordinated great and the only glitch was because of the cost our mortgage company had to be listed on the insurance check as well. Unfortunately this created quite a delay in getting our roof, but once this was handled Able was out the next day to get started. The team that came out were professional and nice. They went above and beyond to take care of everything which included extra vents being installed that we were not charged for. They waited on the final payment for our services until the insurance company sent their check and it was nice to know it was not all about money and they were only interested in our satisfaction. We are very happy with our experience and would recommend Able to any of our friends or family :)

Able Roofing put on a new roof, soffit system and gutter system over 5 years ago...during a recent bout of windstorms, the soffit in one area became loose and was hanging down. We aclled Able Roofing and within 3 days Ken and Jose were here and done! They called to say they were done with the previous appointment and could they come an hour early? (I've NEVER had a contractor do that!) they repaired the soffit and even trimmed trees away from the roof while they were up there. Able Roofing, in the persons of Ken and Jose, are AWESOME!!!
