When the city of Columbus notifies you of a water line break you have 14 days to fix it before they shut off your water, which isn't a lot of time, so it is important for homeowners to move quickly. Ed was out here the same day that I called him for an estimate, and he spent almost 90 minutes with me going over different options in order to be cost effective and to cause as little damage to the property as possible. Because my neighbors water line and my line were inches from each other he even suggested seeing if my neighbor was interested in repairing his line, which would reduce costs as we would share the excavation expense. I thought this was crazy as my neighbor didn't "need" to repair his line, he would be voluntarily taking on this expense. Sure enough though my neighbor was on board as he was sure due to the age of our water lines that his line could go bad at any time, just as mine had. Ed's crew was out here within the time frame he set out and they had the job completed within the two weeks that I needed to have the work done so that my water wasn't shut off. We hit one hiccup in the whole project, but Ed explained what happened, accepted responsibility and came back to fix the problem. That is the only reason I am giving a B for quality. If not for the hiccup, it would have been all A's across the board. The most important thing to note is that Ed and the crew fixed the problem. I think I texted Ed of my concern around 10:30 PM on the night the job was complete and he responded within minutes, literally just minutes, that he would be out to inspect it himself. He texted me back by 8 AM the very next day to notify me that he would be looking into possible fixes and it was just one of those things his crew hadn't come across yet, but they were going to fix it. And then Ed made good on his word and the hiccup got fixed. Ed's crew got the job done on time, and it wasn't an easy job. There was lots of concrete and lots of excavation, but by the time the job was done they put everything back in place and even replaced some solar lights that had been accidentally damaged in the process. This company is a great, honest, trustworthy, customer fair, family owned and operated business and I would have them come back to do work for me again in a heart beat. If you need a water line replaced, and don't have fancy landscaping so you don't mind a little excavation, this is the company to hire!

It could not have gone better. The crew is very professional and accommodating. They took out more stumps than anticipated, and wanted to make sure the job was done well. They also hauled away the stumps they extracted. I would highly recommend their services.
