Met with Samantha for the estimate. She listened to me and everything was handled very well. She was the most professional of all the landscapers I met. She took notes on a pad and gave me an estimate on the spot. I decided not to use their services for 2 reasons. One is that they have the mulch delivers from Ohio Mulch before they come over (others bring the mulch with them in a truck). There are better companies than Ohio Mulch. The other reason is because the price for the service was a little higher than most. In the future, I would definitely consider A Woman's Touch Tree Care for tree work. It's obvious that tree care is their specialty, and I know I will be treated in a professional manner.

From estimate to scheduling to completion, this experience has been easy, smooth, quick and pleasant. From Samantha, Tabatha and Brandy all the way to the Crew that came out, they were all down-to-earth, friendly and I loved their sense of humor (see picture of Polar Bear hat). Great job. I'd definitely use them again.

I was very pleased with the service. They did a great job thinning out the tree without ruining the "shape" of the beautiful tree. The team of (3) were polite, professional and very efficient. They cleaned up everything ( and used a wood chipper) and left my yard neat. The price for the work performed was very reasonable. I would definitely hire this company again. Brandy was professional and was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice. Thanks again for the great service.

I sent four message via Angie's list to have a 30 ft tall tree cut down on a Monday morning. Brandi from A Woman's Touch was at my house that afternoon to write an offer. Two others came later in the week and one never did show up. A Woman's Touch price was lower than the other two. The work was scheduled a week later. The crewman showed up, cut down the tree, removed all debris, including some branches I had left from trimming other trees. They were quick, neat and professional. I will use A Woman's Touch if I need tree service in the future.

This is the second time I have hired A Woman's Touch Tree Service, and I am very happy with the results. Brandy came out and did a thorough inspection of all my trees, and gave me a bid for service. The crew who came out were prompt and did everything that we had agreed on. My neighbors also hired her and are equally happy with the results!

The work went quite well. Brandy provided the estimate for requested work and informed me of her recommendations for ongoing care of an old Japanese maple tree. The work was completed when I was away from home. The crew removed deadwood, thinning out small branches as well as lower branches to elevate the tree. Other than the appearance of my tree, there was no evidence a crew had been in my backyard. Cleanup was immaculate.

I have used them in the past, but never will again. I feel like I was quoted, and now will be billed, for a job that was not completed. I never would have agreed to this price knowing the smaller amount of work that was actually done.
Description of Work: This is a lesson learned - always have a quote in writing. This was supposed to be left in our door when they came to look at the job, it was not. They were supposed to call before coming to do the work because I wanted to be there since I hadn't seen a quote. They did not call. We had asked that all wood be removed from a fire pit area. Only very small amount was taken and then we were told it was not part of the quote and would cost another $100. I would not hire someone to take a brush pile and a few logs. They did remove the two small trees that were part of the quote.

I first would like to apologize to you and your wife for the misunderstanding as I explained to you on the phone when you called in after the job was completed my crew and I have worked for you both several times in the past leaving feeling very confident that you both were completely happy I think the problem here was no one was present for the estimate that was scheduled no one was present for the work that was performed when I got to the property for the estimate I marked trees that I assumed where the ones that were explain to me when the wife called in she let me know that some of the trees that were marked we're not actually the trees to be removed I asked her to take the tape off of those so that we know exactly what trees when we get there so that and was taken care of and successful however on the other end with the firewood and brush pile we still didn't have an exact on the wood I felt confident with the description I was given but apparently it was not accurate the only way to fix that is to have someone there for the estimate or the job to confirm. The only thing I can do is apologize for the misunderstanding but what I quoted was the debris that we took I cannot price something I do not know is a part of the job I am very sorry we have completed a lot of services there on your property successfully I hope that you will have us back in the future should you choose to I feel confident as a business owner to offer you both 20% off your next scheduled service should you have us back out.

Excellent. The crew was punctual, thoroughly cleaned up after they were finished and were very professional. They arrived knowing exactly what they needed to do with no input from me and got right to work. The tree looks wonderful! We got quotes from a couple other places that were higher cost, but the professionalism here gave us a greater comfort level.

Brandy (owner) was very knowledgeable about every single tree in our yard when she came out to do the free-estimate. She provided very clear recommendations about what needed to trimmed or thinned out and why. She also discussed the impact some of the trees were having on our lawn and its appearance. When her team arrived they knew exactly what needed to be done even without Brandy being in attendance. The team provided me with updates on their progress, thoroughly answered my questions and impeccably cleaned up the yard! They trimmed/elevated three large trees (for which they needed to leave the ground) and about 5-6 others and removed one dying tree and one bush. Our trees were growing in on the yard quite heavily and A Woman's Touch brought light back into our yard and health back to our trees!

They were fantastic Everything was done in one day and they did everything they said they would. There was no mess for me to clean up and the crew was all very pleasant when I went outside. The boss would ask me any questions he had which I was very happy he was willing to communicate with me instead of just doing what he thought wanted done. When more mulch was bought than needed, they quickly reimbursed me for the additional mulch.
Description of Work: Brandy came out to give me an estimate and was very knowledgeable about all the plants/trees in my yard and what was best for them. She helped me figure which package they had would be best for my needs. On the day of service, everyone was very punctual and I had asked if Brandy could out at the beginning since she knew exactly what I wanted done and she did. I had multiple trees trimmed (both large and ornamental), beds weeded, edged, and mulched, dead bushes pulled out, and general fall clean up.

Because a large part of the damaged tree was lying in my neighbor's yard, I needed a quick response for removal. A representative of the company arrived within two hours of my call to appraise the situation. After a good discussion of the options, removal of the entire tree was scheduled for the next day and was done as scheduled. Clean-up of the yard was very good.

I've waited for a few months of using the wood to see if buried somewhere in that pile was what I'd asked for...First, I have no idea how they do with actual tree service. Based on how careful the crew was when dumping 2 loads of wood, i would guess the positive reviews are honest. The service was very good. However, the wood i received wasn't what I was led to believe it would be when first inquiring about purchasing "firewood". I still have the email correspondence that clearly states what i was looking for, clean splits of hardwood, 16" long more or less an inch, 3 to 5" thick. A standard request for people who do firewood. They replied that yes, they could provide that. Great, i can give my bad back a break, and just carry the firewood up to the house when needed. Just split a few for kindling, and good to go! The crew dumped the two truck loads, and as i looked, it seemed that there weren't many of those nice processed splits of wood i expected to see, but off to work i went, thinking i would sort it out when i started stacking. Later, when i started to wheel them to the backyard, i discovered that there were mostly "stump cuts", as Tabitha so quaintly referred to, those really big logs that have to be cut 6-10" thick in order to move them. once split, you usually get what are called wood "chunks". In a small stove like mine, a real pain to use, and have to be further split in order to fit in, and do not work well for long burn times in a wood stove. All that extra air space between those irregular pieces. Another popular variation to the original order are the 18"-24" long pieces. So, the only remedy here is to sort those out in a stack, then once in a while buck those down to a size that fits in the stove. More work i was trying to avoid by paying for "cut and split firewood" . The other things discovered while briefly scanning this heap in my front yard and drive were the really gnarly pieces, rotten pieces, and everything in between. On top of all of that, there sure is a lot of silver maple mixed in with that mostly ash. I had just received some free s.maple logs to buck and split from a neighbor. They are marginally considered soft hardwood, fyi. Any wood is okay if free! I really didn't need to buy some. So, I called Tabitha, told her to take back the pile of wood, for the above stated reasons, I'd look elsewhere for a supplier that actually sold processed firewood. That was when she informed me that they don't really have the setup for processing firewood, that was why its so rough. My fault that I didn't check it out before dumping. That is true, and from now on, lesson learned. Look very close. She said she couldn't understand the problem with my not being happy with the wood, no one else complains. After a few calls, she said the best she could do was send someone over to stack it for me, no charge, and bring a little more wood to compensate for the pieces I was not "happy with". I don't think she fully appreciated the extent of the problem. Two young people came out a few days later, not looking very happy, especially when they were supposed to measure and cut the too long ones to correct lengths! I went out, and a few hours later came back to what they had finished. I knew that it would be impossible to do true firewood stacks, suitable for seasoning the wood, with this heap of junk wood. They did achieve sort of an orderly hut looking pile. I saw a few fresh cut pieces here and there, but could also see long pieces in there, too. That's a lot of extra work, i didn't want to do it either, fella, don't blame ya for giving up on that! The whole thing then is held together with the little chunks and rotten pieces packed in to fill the gaps. Taking stock of the situation, i of course measured the newly ordered heap, and it was, even after the "extra" wood to make me happier, well short of 2 cords. So now, for the past few months burning wood in my stove, I am reminded of how careful to be when ordering firewood. Every load i retrieve from the pile now involves, "how big is that chunk, do i already have enough of those to split down for starter kindling", "how long is that piece, over to the to cut pile, oops, that ones really rotten,"That giant knot will never fit". Then, the one that keeps me going..." I am sure somewhere buried in there are some wonderful splits of firewood, about 16" inches long, 3 - 5" at their thickest, that fit nicely in my stove with no effort at all! John Whelan

I'm sorry you was not satisfied with the wood you purchased by us. I do know that we had spoke by email and I had advised you that our wood was cut between 16 and 24 inches in length. We never discussed a diameter of size on the wood because I have no way of knowing that. However when we delivered the wood you called and said it was too big so I contacted Brandy who is the owner of the company and she agreed to send out our crew members to split the wood into smaller pieces for you. Which we did do. Our wood yard is open to the public and you could have came in personally and looked at our wood or picked out the cord of wood that you liked best. It disturbs us as a company when our customers are not satisfied with our work and especially when we go out of our way to make you happy. We do apologia for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Hopefully we will be able to do business with you again in the future.

Brandy came to my house and provided a detail estimate which I accepted on the spot. I have had Brandy do work for me in the past and have been very pleased. The day the work was scheduled the crew performed all the work perfectly. The supervisor, Andy made sure everything was as I wanted at the end of the job. They did a great clean up job too. They are the best in Columbus in my opinion. Fair price and great work...you can't go wrong!
