When I called them on Friday they said they could come Saturday but would charge extra for weekends. We agreed on Monday. They called back a few minutes later and said someone had cancelled and asked if they could come now. They were here in a half hour. They had it fixed in 15 minutes. I thought the price was steep for 15 minutes of work but it was a plumber after all.

Brian was very polite and suggested I purchase a less expensive drain with strainer. Their price was the most reasonable for the work I needed.

They called first thing the morning after I submitted my information. They came right out and fixed the problem. Clean, professional and reasonable price. They also provided great education and I would call them again for work to be completed.

12/23/19: A-PLumbing Technician was kind, but that was it; he brought in machine and attempted to go through main line via toilet access (crawl space opening too small for machine to fit down). Could not unclogged drain but left me with $507.00 invoice and stated on invoice “Pulled w/c due to not being able to safely get 3/4" machine into crawl space. Ran 3/4" machine through w/c drain. Cable was going up vent stock. Recommend customer to have clean out installed outside of home. Will contact with quote to perform installation." The technician called the owner and they gave me a $3000.00 quote to have the clean out installed outside of my home. I called another company, ARS Rescue Rooter, who came out within one hour of calling. I told the technician what the problem was and what was recommend by the previous company; he immediately indicated there was no way that the 3/4" cable could go up the vent stock because it was not on the same line and there was a straight shot from the toilet to the outside; he said I should call and get a refund. He spent a few hours with a machine, via the toilet access and was able to unclog the drain (tree roots) and get me back in action. Charged $495.50 I called A-Plumbing after my drain was clear and spoke with the owner. I told him that another company was able to perform the service requested and that I wanted a refund. The owner said he needed to talk to the technician before giving a refund and he would be in contact on Monday (this was a Friday). On Monday I spoke with him and he offered $100.00 off with no reason why he couldn't give me a full refund; I said no, that I was charged for a service that was not provided and he reluctantly offered to give me $150.00 and insinuated I was doing him a favor. I have yet to receive any refund. I specifically chose this company because of the highest rating on Angie's List reviews. I believe I am entitled to a full refund, less the service call charge of $61.50. I was taken advantage of, I believe, because I am a woman and it is unacceptable. If there is anything Angie's List can do to demand a refund from this company I would appreciate it; otherwise what is the point in trusting the reviews on this website.

It went well. The job was completed quickly. The plumber was pleasant and was conscientious regarding clean up.

Brian was very good. Friendly, knew what he was doing, and efficient. The whole process only took a little over two hours, including removing the old sink and disposal, and running out to get a part. We understand the $60 service call charge and the overall price was a bit higher than I expected - particularly for two hours of work. It was helpful to have a coupon/discount from Angie's List. However, since it was a fixed price quote before he started the job, if something had gone wrong it could have taken longer. The price shown is after the discount.

It easy to schedule an appointment. I called and was told the price of the service call. Angie's list had a $29.00 coupon which I could use. I got a call 30 minutes before the plumber showed up in the window we had established (afternoon). He was able to answer my questions and explain the work process. I had a cartridge replaced. The job was $411.98. I understood the price before any work was done. Hoping this really helps with my water bills. Well worth the $$. I would hire these people, again.

A Plumbing is the best plumber I've ever encountered. They communicated well, showed up on time, and didn't even charge me for the initial assessment. The owner came out himself the next day because it seemed like a complex job and he wanted to assess how they could do it in a way to avoid ripping up my steps/patio. My entire water line from my house to the city tap needed replaced and the 3 men (including the owner) who worked the job were extremely nice and I truly enjoyed talking to them. They took great care in wrapping my willow tree's branches up so they wouldn't get damaged and they were able to go under my brick patio, so as not to mess it up. They did a big job efficiently in a span of 9 hours and I look forward to using them in the future!

He replaced garbage disposal. He was very pleasant and appears to have done a good job. But the price seemed very high. There was a service charge of $65 plus $330 for parts and labor. There is no address on the Angies List website for them and I found out after he got here that they are located south of Columbus. We are north of Columbus. If I had known he was coming that far, I would not have used them.

Absolutely fabulous! My plumbing professional was friendly, informative and completed everything within an hour. Any other projects that come up I will contact A-Plumbing first!

Young man was professional and did a good job. However when he quoted me the amount after conferring with his superiors, I thought it was high but becaused I needed the toilet installed I paid the $609. My son had previously purchased the toilet but was unable to installed because he did not have the correct tool to attach to the slab under the condo. It had been just sitting on the drain pipe since the building was built.

I needed to repair the internal valve on the toilet and shut off the water line to the toilet. That shut off valve was likely over 50 years old and probably hadn't seen a lot of action. Well, the act of turning it off caused a leak. And it was a Saturday late afternoon. And the leak was enough to fill a coffee cup in about 20 minutes. Called A Plumbing. Live person picked up right away. Told me plumber was wrapping up a job and he'd be out next and that she'd call me back when she had a better estimate of arrival. Got a call back about an hour later, letting me know he'd be here in about 45 minutes. About 45 minutes, Adam arrived. Showed him the problem. He assessed it, gave me the quote. Told him to go ahead and repair. Was done within an hour. (Told him to also replace the valve and float assembly while he was here.) Replaced the shut off valve with something from this century. Now works like a charm and doesn't leak. (The cost, given it was a Saturday night, seemed fair. I could've saved $60 by waiting for Monday but thought the extra $60 was worth the expense of NOT having to deal with a flooded bathroom :))

No problems. Did the job and cleaned up afterwards. Was very careful not to track dirt into my house when he made trips to his truck for supplies. Much appreciated.
