Short: Tony did outstanding job. Would recommend! Asphalt driveway was not leveled with garage and had grass growing through it. Also new concrete driveway was requested to be extended by a foot on each side to match with garage walls. It looks outstanding!

Toni and his team did a great job on the driveway replacement. They paid attention to detail, they ensured that the surface was leveled perfectly. They also filled the gaps with mulches. We were very impressed and my neighbor as well. I waited from last year 2019 till this year 2020 due to the busy schedules of A P Marchi Inc. Worth the wait.

Everything was great. Tony was punctual and professional from the estimate to finishing. We had originally scheduled for the previous fall but due to weather issues it was pushed to early spring. I asked him to make the driveway slightly wider because I was tired of stepping out of my car and on to the mud. He did as I asked with no problems. The driveway dried perfectly and I have had no problems in the 6 months since it was completed. I would recommend AP Marchi to anyone who asks.

The work was delayed slightly due to weather but we were not in any rush. The quality of the finished product is superb. We are very happy to have a much lower maintenance drive and walk that will add value to our home.

Our Asphalt Driveway was failing, the Apron was crumbling from all the road salt that had collected on it over the life of the home which was built in 1973 and our Garage Floor had probably sunk 4 inches. Our Garage Door did not cover the opening anymore and the Asphalt just looked bad. I got three estimates and all three were highly rated and all three were pretty much identical in price. I would have felt comfortable hiring any of them but I decided on Tony Marchi. What a beautiful job they did. I really wasn't thinking that they would re-lay our pavers on our front walkway which had to be removed during the job but they did. Tony is not the most talkative guy but he knows his stuff and does a first class job. Don't hesitate hiring him and his company for any of your concrete work. The Concrete work was $10,300 and they have a guy that does power washes and applies the sealer 30 days after for an additional $400.

The work that Tony and his crew did is absolutely outstanding! Recap of the project: On Tuesday, the first day, they tore out the concrete that needed to be replaced and framed the entire project (new and replacement areas). The city inspector came the next day to review what had been done. On Wednesday, the third day, the concrete was poured. Tony and his crew were artisans in the care and precision they took with the finishing of the concrete. We have received many complements from neighbors and friends about how good the entire project looks! All through the project--from first contact to the finished product--Tony kept us updated as to when the project would begin (rain was a big issue!) and everything we needed to know about care afterwards. He and his two workmen were polite, punctual, and very professional. We would definitely use their services again!

The whole process was easy, straightforward and pleasant. We got a quote from AP Marchi last November, assuming that they would not be able to schedule the work until the following spring. They scheduled it for earlier than we had planned and were out on time and worked extremely fast and efficient and our new driveway is beautiful! The gentleman that completed the work were extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. I have recommended them to multiple neighbors and will continue to do so!

I am very pleased with the results of this work. I observed all the work and it was done carefully and efficiently. Scheduling and communication were done well. I would recommend using this company even if you need to wait a little longer than with someone else.

Excellent. Tony and his experienced crew are meticulous in their work. From the bid, to the construction and site cleanup, the work and finished product are excellent. I can recommend them without exception and will definitely hire them again should the need arise. Their price is also extremely fair and includes all of the work, no surprises. Once work commenced (outside concrete work being weather dependent) they diligently worked through the job to completion and cleanup. They are definitely a Super Service firm.

Tony and his men did an outstanding job! Competitive price, accommodated our summer schedule, courteous, friendly service. There are many steps in the prepping, pouring, smoothing, and finishing of a driveway that were performed with meticulous, top-rate care.

I am very pleased with the work that Mr. Marchi and his crew did for me! We replaced an asphalt driveway of unknown age, as well as the concrete sidewalk at the end of the drive, and the concrete approach. The concrete approach was likely original to the home (1963) and was quite past its useful life. In one day, the old asphalt was removed (the drive was two cars wide and two cars deep) and the new concrete drive was formed and completely ready to be poured. Mr. Marchi had telephoned OUPS to determine utility encroachments and pulled a construction permit that was properly displayed by the laws required in the community in which I live. He did this as part of his work, and did not ask me to do it on his behalf. (I do believe that there is value in having oversight by your community's 'Building and Engineering Department-not that I think the quality of the workmanship would have been different.) There was a weather related delay of three business days. This., of course, is beyond Mr. Marchi's ability to influence. As it happens, the day that the concrete was actually poured was ideal. Much better to wait then to have freshly poured concrete rained on. The work that Marchi Construction did in finishing the concrete was excellent. All the joints were struck with great care. I was very pleased with the use of expansion joint material in all the right places. Very happy with the broom finish. Other thoughts: I got in his schedule early in the construction season. It still took nearly three months for the work to begin. I am not going to talk about his price except to say that it was very fair. I had many estimates, so I was very comfortable (happy!) with Mr. Marchi's price. When he scheduled the estimate, he showed up and was on time (again-way ahead of the construction season!) DO yourself a favor, and get several estimates. You will learn a lot just in that process. I did not get to see the work done, but my neighbors all liked him and his crew. My work is only one week old as of today. I really expected this whole process to be miserable, given the state of the building trades in general. I am almost afraid to say how well it went, for fear of jinxing it. I am hopeful that who ever supplied the concrete, mixed it to the proper spec so that I will have many years of a beautiful drive!

Tony was the only contractor that was concerned with the water drainage after the driveway would be poured. He recommended a french drain be installed in front of the garage. Most of the time I was not home during the work, but my neighbors were impressed with the work and cleanup each night. They arrived by 8 every day and worked till after 4. They were back each day until the work was completed. Tony took the time to personally answer all my questions. The drainage with the heavy rains this spring has been perfect. I would definitely hire Marchi again.

I got a very competitive quote from the company back in March and the work was planned for sometime in May. They did everything as planned the week of Memorial Day. They spent a day doing a very thorough job of preparing the job site. They came back two days later and poured the concrete. They thought they would have to wait for another day to finish the driveway, but they were able to do it the same day. They came back a week later (when the driveway could be driven on again) to clean things up, install the handrails, and fill in any holes with dirt. I'm very impressed with the work and would definitely recommend them. I did have one minor issue -- One of their pieces of equipment dislodged and cracked a few stepping stones in my back yard. Instead of having the stones replaced, I pulled them out and asked them to fill in this area with dirt. Accidents happen, and they did a nice job of putting dirt in this area when they came back to finish up their work.

Tony and his crew did an outstanding job. The old concrete driveway was cracked and crumbling in places along with our entry sidewalk. The old sidewalk and driveway were removed in one 10 hour day. They were delayed because of rain. Tony kept us informed every step of the way during the project. These guys are very hard working and I would recommend them anytime. Project turned out fabulous.

About half of my approximately 2200 sq ft driveway adjacent to the street was heaved and cracked, and needed replacement. Had four estimates done from A rated contractors. Two of them (independent contractors) were slow in getting back to me, their written estimates were not very clear, and there quotes seemed a bit high to me. The third was a corporate operation, and their quote was almost 30% higher (always go with an independent). Tony was the final guy I called, and he was out the next day this past October. Got a detailed, professionally-prepared estimate/contract within 24 hours, and his price was the best. After my AL discount, it came in right at $8 per sq ft out the door. I couldn't be happier with the results. My neighbor had a similar size job done last fall with a different company for right about the same price, and he came over last night all PO'd about how much better mine looks. lol Anyway, I would hire Tony again without hesitation. He is a total pro, and his crew probably has about 100 years of combined experience. Actually considering doing the rest of the driveway later this year.
