A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters

I called and left a message on 9/6/13. I received a call confirming that he would come by sometime the following week to take a look at the problem. Never received any feedback from that point

They were absolutely fantastic! What I like is that they came out one day and told me upfront that they didn’t have the correct color to replace it with. Every time I asked them to do something, they went above and beyond. The price was very reasonable and I got other estimates. I’ve had them out here three times total and each time they have done great work. They are a very good company to work with. No problems since they came out.

They did a great job! They were quick and made it easy. They got it all done in one day.

They did an outstanding job! They were fast. The cost was reasonable. They had to come out twice and it was not their fault. There was an area where the previous company really messed up. They didn’t see it. I called them and they came right out at no extra charge. They kept their word.

I called a week ago to schedule someone to come out and look at our gutters to determine where there was a blockage as water was not going down our downspout. The women I spoke with said someone would be out that week (last week) to look at the problem and that they would call before coming. That was last Monday. No one called nor did anyone come out. I called again today (8/19/13) and again the lady said she would look into it but that the estimator was in the office at that time and she would give him my name and phone number to contact me. No one has. I turned away another company because I wanted someone to look at the problem last week and the other company could not come out before tomorrow. Boy, am I sorry I did that. Guess they don't need my business!

Everything went well. They repaired the leak and we were very happy with the work. We haven't had any additional repairs or problems. They were very accommodating as well. They left no mess and got the job done in a timely manner. They were even able to give us one of their color wheels so we could match up the gutter color to the new house color.

Prompt quote. We had to work around existing pole barn construction with an alternate hanging system. The system added some cost to the project but the gutters appear to be very securely mounted. John, the owner, is very prompt and professional.

It went very well. They were quick and cleaned up very well when finished.

After my initial call, no one came out. I waited about 3 days and called again when there was no response. The same day of my second call, a man came out, gave me a card with the name of John Luft on it. He said that he wanted to look at the work by himself and did not need me with him. He left after looking at the work to be done without saying a word. Several days went by. I heard nothing from A-One. Then, one afternoon my telephone rang. The Caller ID indicated a company that I was not familiar with and did not recognize. Turns out, from the message they left me, Mr. Luft had given them my name and number to call. He did not have my permission to give out my name and number to anyone. I did not return their call because I felt that it was out of order for Mr. Luft to not communicate with me at all that he wouldn't or couldn't do the work but refer me on to another company. I did not care for this method of doing business. I do not feel that he should be listed under "gutter repair" or "gutter replacement" on Angie's list.

I made the call in the early afternoon and left a message. They returned my call promptly and offered to come out and give me an esitmate the next day. When they came out they called and gave the estimate and told me they could repair it right away if I approved. I consented and the work was completed by the end of the day. Overall I was very happy with the experience.

After the estimate, I went with Professional Gutter and Drain.

What I liked best about their service they did the estimate and the work all thru email. I emailed them and asked for an estimate. They sent someone to the house to look at the work to be done and sent back a detailed estimate. i emailed back my acceptance. Yesterday they came out to my house and did the work. They installed a new downspout that kept falling off every time it got windy and gutter covers. It has not rained so I can't say if they work. What I can attest to is that they did the work and cleaned up after themselves. When I got home you couldn't tell they had been there, except of course for the new downspout and covers. They even left the 6 tennis balls they found in the gutter on the yard, for my dog, just like I asked them to. The new downspout is of superior quality. The strapping they used to attach it to the house is exceptionally sturdy. Time will tell if the gutter covers do their job.

I looked in the Angie's list book for April 2003 and saw an ad for A-1. We received a few estimates from other companies, but we went with A-1. Their price was more than $125.00 less than the others. John Luft was very knowledgeable and friendly when he came out to do the estimate. He found a solution for our downspout that came down the side of the house and ran down to the top of our chain link fence. They came out on a Friday and took the old gutters down, and gave us a couple days to paint the wood behind the gutters before they came back to put the new gutters and downspouts up, which I thought was nice of them. I spoke to Sonya in the office a few times and she was very friendly and helpful. The crew that came out was very nice, they were professional and did great work. It only took them less than an hour to put up the new gutters and downspouts. It looks great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

It took a while for them to call me back initially, but after that everything was perfect. John spent a lot of time with me, both in person and on the phone, explaining their product and answering my questions. They dropped off a sample so I could see the actual gutter guard. They arrived on time and were done within a couple of hours. Everything was left very neat and clean. It poured the next day so I was able to ensure everything worked properly.

A-1 Seamless Gutters came out the same day we called to look at the house and give an estimate. The estimate was emailed to us the following week and we scheduled our appt. They arrived on time, performed the work as promised and did a great job. They were on time and had the job done quickly with several men working on it. We were very pleased.

, A very nice lady answered our call and dispatched an A-1 representative to look at our gutters and provide a estimate. It wasn't necessary for us to be home while they inspected our home. After weighing a few estimates, we chose to go with A-1. There were a few false starts determining when A-! would put us on the schedule. The first day we agreed upon, nobody showed up. or called to tell us what had happened. Now, A-1 had told us we didn't need to be home for them to do the work, but I always like to know who is on my property and what they are doing. The nice lady said it was too windy that day (it was), so maybe it would be the next day? The day came and went with nobody showing up and the weather was fine. Finally, on the third day, the A-1 crew, maybe four or five guys, showed up and installed the gutters in a few hours. The new gutters look great, but we will have to wait until some rainy weather to see how well they work. One problem and it's a big one as far as we're concerned. The A-1 crew did a lousy job of cleaning up after themselves. There was black dirt and grit on the front steps from the old gutters they took down, paint chips in the grass, a large nail or spike on our front porch and the other day I found a tool in the back yard. REAL SLOPPY, A-1. I'm guessing your crew were in a hurry to get done and on their way, but that is no excuse for not cleaning up after the job.

John came to our home personally and showed us the sturdy hangers he would be using. But ultimatele we chose gutter gaurds that support the gutters. Installation was a breeze. The installers were very professional and competent. They came back immediately to correct something that I personally did not like about the appearance of one of the downspouts location. It was a minor thing,but they were very accomodating to my request. We will definitely recommend them.

Great. They were very efficient and clened up.

A heavy storm tore the gutter from the back of my home. Some downspouts needed replacing as well. I called A-1 and they said a serviceman could probably make it to my house by the end of the week. He never showed up. I called another repairmen for a quote on this work. It was a little high, so I called A-1 again to see if they could still come by. They apologized and sent a guy over to assess the job. To my surprise, A-1 provide a quote that was $100 cheaper -- the least expensive option of the three companies I called. A-1 emailed me an official quote and work request. I signed off on the work, but when I was told a scheduler would call me, I again didn't hear back for almost a week. I had to call the company again to ask that someone come out and complete the job. When the repairman came, he was friendly and professional. The work appears to have been done in a quality fashion, but we'll see. Again, I am pleased by the fact that this was the best price I was quoted to repair my gutters. Had the customer service been more punctual and professional, A-1 would be deserving of higher marks. I would use A-1 Seamless Gutters again, but be prepared for a small bit of frustration in exchange for a cheaper price.

The technicians came out and was unsure of what needed done. Their was some miscommunication between them and the office. They had to come out twice to fix everything as needed or per quote. They did miss a leak coming from a down spout going into a gutter. When all said and done, they did a good job. The office staff was professional and pleasant.

They were very good. The final job was good. They were on time, the price was as quoted & it went smoothly in all regards.

We researched Angie's List first (of course) - and picked the vendor that sounded like they would get the job done well and fast. The heavy snow/melting ice had dragged our rear gutter off the house and was dripping all over - total loss. We called A-1, got a quick estimate and a promise of a call-ahead. Well ... we didn't get the call ahead ... but they showed up on a Saturday afternoon and three strong men finished removing the gutter and hung the new one ... and were gone within an hour. Wow. The price was very, very good - and they worked fast. Glad we were home when they arrived.

Called office and was treated very nicely and made request for an estimate. I was not given the option to meet with the estimator and when I asked when the estimator would come by I was given a vague within a week answer. Estimate was e-mailed to me and was really professional. They called to double check I received the estimate and were very responsive when I asked for a change. I decided to use another company who's estimator made an appointment with me and talked over different options and had samples of gutter guards to look at. I understand A-1 does it this way for the convenience of those who work all day. But it was not the approach I was looking for.

Quality and cost of the repair was excellent. They came out very quickly to look at gutter and downspout and give a detailed estimate. After i authorized the repairs, I was told someone would contact me to schedule the repairs. After almost two weeks went by, I called back to see if and when the repairs would be done. After this prompt, they did get someone out within a couple of days. The day the service was done, I received a call to confirm service and make arrangements to pay the invoice. At that time, i went outside and realized the downspout work had not been done. They quickly called the technician and let me know he forgot to do the downspout. Three or four days later the downspout was finally completed.

Work was outstanding and completed on time any issues that came up they called immediately. They did a fantastic job and saved our gutter which was literally about to fall off.
