A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters

They were very responsive, both scheduling and completing the work quickly with no sign they were ever there, other than the problems having been corrected. Although given the opportunity to quote on capping all the fascia, they declined, stating that the work would be unnecessary due to the fact that I had cedar fascia and that the drip caps would adequately protect it all going forward. This is in contrast to another company that recommended capping all the fascia (as well as adding the drip caps). I think they charged too much for the work they did, but given how much they saved me on the unnecessary work that I almost had done by someone else, I think I still came out ahead.

This company did a fantastic job with absolutely no hassle! I called and asked for an estimate, expecting to schedule a time and take off work to be home to speak with the estimator. The scheduler told me that the estimate would be done and emailed to me and I did not need to be present at the time of the inspection. Of the three estimates I obtained, this company provided the best value for the money. No down payment was requested. The work was done within 30 days of the estimate and the bill was left in my doorway. I am highly satisfied!

Originally diagnosed issue as clogged exit line to street. Had a different company out to snake the line but gutter still overflowing. A-1 said there's a leak at the seam and attempted a repair but the gutter was still overflowing. I contacted them on numerous occasions over the course of several months by phone and by email to have them come out to either repair or replace the gutter, but they have been nonresponsive. I have use them in the past with good results but can no longer recommend them based on their current performance.

The owner came out and looked over the project and listened to my concerns. After a couple of days I received the estimate with options for the work. The crew showed up on time and did all the work that was stipulated in the contract including cleaning all the gutters and downspouts. I asked them if they could fix one downspout by adding an extension using some of the downspout they removed and they did after checking with the owner. About 2 or 3 days after the work we experienced a heavy rain and one area had so much water coming off the roof that it overshot the gutter. I called the company and described the problem and they came out within a few days and added a section of pipe so that it would go all into the new larger gutter. This should take care of the problem. I am very pleased with their work and the fact that they came back and fixed a problem at no extra charge.

It turned out great. They were punctual, they cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job.

I have had this group install new gutters on 3 of my houses. Every time i am nothing short of thrilled with the whole package. they get the trifecta award form me. Best price, Great Service, and Super Speedy on the install. Really what else could one ask for. Here I am 4 years later writing a review for them, and wishing they were in Cincinnati so I could have them do the work for me in my new house here too.

They showed up last week and completed the repairs. The employees were very friendly and professional. We no longer have a gutter issue.

DO NOT HIRE A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters. In the beginning when getting quotes and scheduling the work everything seemed great, and Sonya was very responsive. After an issue arose with their work not only did they not complete what they had agreed to do, but they completely stopped returning my calls and emails! I hired A-1 to remove old gutters, repair rotten wood in soffits and facia, and then install new gutters and leaf guards after having another company paint my house. After lots of confusion with scheduling and having to call and confirm multiple times, the gutters were removed and wood repair done. When I returned home from work to see the progress, it looked like the workers hadn?t picked up a single piece of debris from their work. There were pieces of aluminum, wood shards, nails, etc. laying around the perimeter of the entire house and garage, which I then had to clean up. I emailed the company to express my concern at the amount of trash left, and they responded that they were very disappointed with their workers and that everything should have been cleaned up. I didn?t realize at the time that their irresponsible work ethic would be more than just a minor inconvenience, but that weekend one of my dogs started acting strangely. After throwing up his dinner, shaking in pain, and having trouble jumping on the couch we took him to the vet. X-rays showed that he had something in his stomach and needed surgery to remove it. After his surgery we were given some pieces of what the vet removed from our dog?s stomach. They were chewed up pieces of a gutter nail sleeve, or ferrule, matching a piece I had found in our grass. After debating how to handle the situation, I finally emailed A-1 and requested that they reimburse us for the vet bills since this could have been avoided had they cleaned up. I included copies of the bills, which totaled $1,600, and a picture of the pieces next to the ferrule. Sonya told me she would ?pass this along to the owner John for immediate follow up.? Not only was it not immediate, but there was absolutely NO follow up at all! Over the next few weeks I called occasionally to try to get an update. On several occasions I could hear the phone pick up, then some shuffling, and then the call would disconnect. This meant I couldn?t even leave a message. Finally, after several weeks, I was able to leave a message. Sonya emailed me saying ?We received your call and I let John know. He is out of town, but said he will contact you on Friday when he is back in the office.? Well, guess what never happened? I am sure that John and the rest of the company are hoping that this will just go away, but this is completely unacceptable. I hope that no one else has to suffer the stress and aggravation that this company has caused me and my family. This is something I?m sure they could have easily submitted to their insurance company, but instead they tried to sweep it under the rug and avoid any contact about the issue. They also never installed the new gutters, meaning our house was without gutters for weeks during the rainy spring while we had to get new quotes and hire another company. We want the reimbursement we believe we are owed for A-1 Quality Seamless Gutters? negligence and dishonesty.

Repaired 5 downspouts including two on the roof. Gutters are all connected now and draining properly. Seamless gutters were easy to work with did a good job and were very professional.

Replacing gutters was not enough to fix problem and, as agreed at the outset, owner installed roof deflectors to resolve the issue. The contractor also recommended and installed leaf guards which have kept debris out of the gutters.

The owner was not in but the person in the office gave me samples and I asked to have the owner call me. He never did and I did not attempt the contact them. I am having problems picking what type gutter topper I want.

I was tired of having to get my gutters cleaned each year as I have a pin oak tree that sheds its leaves late and the weather usually was very cold when I had to call to have it done. I decided to get new gutters with a leaf-guard system. In late November I spoke to Sonja, the office manager of A-1 Seamless Gutters, and within a few days someone came out to measure my gutters and I was sent an e-mail estimate. I accepted the estimate and someone then dropped off color samples to make my selection which I e-mailed back to Sonja. The gutters were ordered but, due to the extreme cold temperatures and snow, the job could not be done until this week (the beginning of February). I am very pleased with the end result, the pleasantness and professionalism of the workers and the fact that everything was cleaned up after they were finished. Sonja was a delight to work with and made this transaction as easy as possible. I would definitely recommend this firm to others.

I didn't even know that they were there since they cleaned up so well. They did a great job and am so happy that I used them. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again.

This is a customer service failure. I called A-1 because of their Angie?s List rating approximately four weeks ago. I have several downspouts that have pulled out of their drain pipes due to settling, and a connection that rattles in the wind above my garage. I was told that a representative would come out to check the problems and inspect the rest of the system for additional issues, and that I would receive an estimate within one week. After two weeks I had to call them again. I was again told it would be a week for the estimate. Several days later my wife said that two guys came to the house, looked around for a few minutes, then left without ever going up on the roof. That was before Thanksgiving, and we have still not heard back regarding an estimate. I have wasted a month waiting for nothing, and now we?re expecting a major storm. Thanks for that A-1. At this point I wouldn?t trust them to do the work anyway. A total failure.

Wonderful! Getting estimate and scheduling was painless and Sonya was so very nice. We were able to choose a gutter color that was perfect. The guys who did the work were great - so friendly and really knew what they were doing. The old gutters weren't hung in the proper place, so when they removed those and started installing the new ones there was a visible paint line. They noticed and asked us to take a look before they proceeded - we were very appreciative of this attention to detail. Great job all around!

I had them replace our gutters and put on gutter covers last Friday. I paid about $1750. I like their customer service from their office, they were pretty friendly and I didn't need to be home when they wee going to do the work.

We called several companies for estimates, and A-1 was the only one interested in completing the job we needed done rather than trying to up-sell us for other services. The job ended up involving more elbow grease than expected, but we were charged what was estimated. They installed a larger gutter along the back side of our home, adjusting the direction of the water flow toward functioning drains. A-1 even made an emergency trip out when I thought there was a problem being caused by the gutter (which there was not...it was a different issue entirely!). Thanks A-1! We will certainly be using you in the future as older gutters need replaced!

They came on a Saturday and replaced the gutters. I was out of town that day and got home when it was dark. There was no debris no mess I did not notice until the next day. The gutters were replaced and they look great. Good job!

All interactions that I have had with this company exceeded my expectations : (1) My initial interaction with the office staff. Very helpful and efficient. (2) The request for an initial estimate and the price variations (options) that I requested later were given in a timely manner and the prices were exceptional. (3) Even though I was apprehensive when the provider didn't give me a set date or time for the estimate review, it was handled in an exceptional time frame and when this same approach was handled concerning the installation I had no doubts that they would come through in a timely manner. (4) The work was efficiently performed and professionally well done. (5) The correspondence with the company was great. I thought it was great that we could correspond by email (forms, etc). (6) The final touch was the card I received from them thanking me for using their business. GREAT JOB!

Great experience, the owner came out to clarify some details on the quote and was able to do exactly what we wanted. Great follow-up from the back office to make sure we were satisfied. Color choice matches home great.
