A-1 Concrete Leveling

Description of Work: They did leveling of my back porch on one part that had settled. They drilled, filled and raised the patio.

Description of Work: The cost was slightly more than I originally expected because I didn't realize that when leveling a sidewalk you can only change each section by a small portion and there needs to be a grade between several squares for the leveling to work properly. The workman was very patient and explained it all to me and we've had no problem since!

Description of Work: Front porch had sunk until there was a gap between the concrete and the house. This is a full porch. The company arrived at the scheduled time and did their thing. They raised the porch back to the correct level. They also sealed the seam between the porch and house as well a filling a couple of cracks that were already in the concrete. Excellent job!

Description of Work: I used A-1 Concrete Leveling because the concrete had settled in a house and was draining in the basement in a house that I rented to family members. They raised the concrete and tilted it away from the house. I think they also did some condo work for me.

Description of Work: Bought a house and when carpet was removed found the slab floor had sunk almost 2 inches below the exterior foundation wall on an approximate 1,400 square foot area over 7 rooms. Called 12 concrete leveling companies listed in Angies List and the phone book and only 3 returned by call. Of the three, A-1 called back first and came out to do an estimate first. The price was the middle quote of the 3 received but A-1 had many less exclusions of what damage they would cover if a problem occurred so I went with them over the lowest bid. The estimator came on time, when I had questions regarding how the process would effect newly installed plumbing he came back out a second time to look at my concern. The person who marked the heating vents and plumbing was on time as were the crew that came to do the actual concrete lifting process. The job was completed in a single day and I had only one crack in drywall which for the extent of the project was anticipated in the process. They swept up inside and hosed off the driveway upon completion. The only thing I would say could be improved at all is the way the filler was put in around the edges where the lifted concrete meets the foundation wall. In the bedrooms it was feathered into the existing concrete to leave a smooth surface for flooring. In the living/dinning room a much rougher surface was left (a bit sloppier) and will require some work to be ready for flooring installation.
