A-1 Concrete Leveling

We were very pleased with A-1 Concrete Leveling from the initial phone call, to the timely estimate, to the final completion of work done.

They did the work and left and I got home from work and noticed it wasn't level. I called them and Steve said they decided not to level it to leave a slant for water runoff. That's not what I wanted, because I wanted it leveled from left to right. Steve said he'd like to meet with me and has never returned despite repeated phone calls to A-1. After paying in full the least they can do is come out and do the work to my satisfaction. At this point, I wouldn't recommend A-1 to anyone looking for concrete leveling.

I called for an estimate. It was provided promptly. I set a date and the work was performed as scheduled. Reliable and well done at a good price.

Haven't had the opportunity to even speak to someone. Called 2 times in last past week. They asked that I take measurements and recite them over the phone for an estimate. Each time I call I'm put on hold and wait and wait and wait and finally after 30 minutes of waiting (2 times I called, 1 hour of my time wasted) I hung up. Reputation is important to me, my time is just as important as theirs. I'll not use this company regardless if their quality is great and their prices are the lowest. Very unsatisfied with their business.

Came early on allotted day. The job was more than they bargained for but they got with estimator and came up with a way to jack the porch back against house before pumping it up. Raised approximately 28' of walkway up to 6''. Grouted and caulked. It all looks great!

Estimate was given in a timely manner after initial phone call. Work was scheduled promptly. On the day of the job, the crew arrived ahead of schedule, worked quickly and cleaned up thoroughly. They gave me an "Angie's List" discount of $25.

They came by and gave me an estimate and then called back and gave me a price. They came, did the work, and I am pleased. They were timely as well.

Great job, quick estimate and the work was performed as scheduled. Easy to get in touch with the company and the service was prompt. The price seemed reasonable to me although I did not get another estimate.

I sent an email requesting a quote. They responded in one day and provided me an estimate within a week. The crew of 2 came out and resolved the problem the next week...took less than 1 hour. They did everything I asked and cleaned up afterward.

After the job was finished I noticed that it wasn't draining properly. I contacted the company on numerous occasions but never received a phone call back. On the contract in small print it indicated that they were not responsible for buried utility lines and drain lines. They did do a great job of leveling the drive however, it would have been nice of them to return my call and at least give me some direction on how to go about getting the drain lines repaired. I ended up having another company come out and repair the drain line which was filled with concrete.

Excellent. I called on Thursday and they provided a quote the following Monday and performed the work two days later. I appreciated the fast response since the AC/Heat pump installation was scheduled the next day. The A-1 employees, Chad and Steve, were friendly and professional. The cost was more than I had originally expected; however, it is far cheaper than replacing the concrete.

They did good work and had a great price and they're very responsive.

The men were on-time, very friendly and helpful. They explained the process to us and to our 4-year old son who was very interested in the whole project. They cleaned up everything very well and the sidewalk looks great.

Jim Lawson provided us with a printed estimate in a timely manner. He was very courteous. We were called the next day and given a date and time the work would be done. The actual work was done promptly and the workers cleaned up afterward. Would hire again.

They came when they said they would. They did the work they said they would perform. They completely cleaned up after themselves. I got $25.00 off with an Angie's List coupon. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone needing this service.

They were late for the original appointment, but they called and advised that they would be late. The work performed seems well done, and they took extra care with the caulking. The work seemed a little expensive for 2 hours of work for 2 men, but it was cheaper than replacing the patio.

Called A-1 & Ron was out a few days later to quote the job. I was impressed with Ron as he isn't one of those "high pressure" type of salespeople. He took the time to answer my questions & gave me an education in block wall construction as well. I called him back about a week later & gave him the go ahead. Later, my start date was pushed back about 2 weeks due to weather delaying other jobs he was working on. Danny, Steve, & the others were great to have in my home. They worked very hard while they were here & took great care to minimize the flow of dust & disruption to my home. After the work was done, I opted to repaint the inside of the wall myself & now, you have to look hard to see that anything was ever wrong with it. And I don't have the ugly steel braces that the other companies wanted to install. I would use Ron again should I have any other concrete issues in the future.

Could never get a quote. They said it was an issue with their printer! Chased them three times on the phone and gave up on them.

Very good customer service from 1st phone call to completion of job. Would call again if needed!

The workers were on time, very polite, saw and repaired a couple of items that needed attention that were not included in the estimate. Cleaned up afterward.

Linda coordinated everything very well and followed up with phone calls. They squeezed me in to their busy schedule and did a great job. I just found out my friend at work had them do her front stoop and some slabs adjacent, and her overall experience was good, too. I suppose she'll submit her positive report to Angie's List, too, since she is a member as well.

I CALLED COMPANY REQUESTING QUOTE ON LEVELING MY GARAGE APRON. COMPANY LEFT QUOTE NEXT DAY. QUOTE FOR LEVELING A 2 FOOT BY 27 FOOT CONCRETE AREA WAS $300. I DECIDED TO REMOVE THE CONCRETE GARAGE APRON AND EXTEND BLACKTOP DRIVEWAY TO GARAGE.

WHAT A GREAT JOB THEY DID! WE WILL DEFINITELY CONSIDER THEM WHEN WE HAVE OUR ENTIRE DRIVEWAY REPOURED.
