A-1 Concrete Leveling

F will not call them again. Something is just not working right over there.

They were great with responding and they did a good job.

I had a front walk that was sunk lower than my front step. They raised my sidewalk to meet the step. They were prompt. They did the job they were set out to do. I thought the price was in range and they did a good job.

Probably would of went better had they returned my calls.

They had good attention to all my needs. I was very satisfied with the work and price with this big job.

They did a nice job. They came when they said they would be here. It was a very cold day but they were still able to do the work. They cleaned up after themselves. It was a noisy process but you couldn't expect it to be too quiet when they were trying to lift up concrete. A couple of neighbors thought it was loud, but they weren't upset with it. It wasn't their fault; it was the equipment they had to use. Their price was average. We had checked with one other person. They are going to be doing another job for us in January unless it is too cold.

They did a good job and showed up on time.

They did the work, and it was fine. Their service was as advertised. It was good. I would use them again in the future.

They were prompt and I was satisfied.

They were on time, fast, and accurate. They splashed concrete on the vinyl siding, and while it came off easily, they could have noticed it and fixed it themselves.

Took some time after paying deposit before work began (6 weeks). Work done over three days. Happy with end product.

The work done by them was fine and we don't have any complains about them. We liked their efficiency and their timeliness. The workers were pretty courteous and were willing to work with us. If need be, then we would use their services in the future as well.

All the 3 providers including A-1 responded promptly. They came out, looked at it, and gave me an estimate. They were the lowest of the 3 estimates we got, so we chose them. I thought it was a difficult job. They had special equipment. They came out and finished it in a day. They did a good job, and they cleaned up quite well. I am very happy with the quality of their work.

I haven?t had any problems with the work they have done so far.

They were very competitive on price - they were half as much as everybody else. I had a problem in that the porch had sunk really low and the pillars had been blowing in the wind for so long, that they were all broken. They were more than happy to come out and go over installing new pillars with me. They cooperated and worked around my schedule to get the pillars installed at the same time that the porch was being leveled, which no one else would have done. I would rate them highly.

They did a very nice job. The young men that they had doing the work were very nice and did a very good job. I was satisfied with everything they did and very happy with their work. The price was kind of in the middle of the line with estimates that I done by other companies. I would not be afraid to use their company again.

This company was very professional. They person doing the estimate was delayed by an hour due to unusual circumstances at the previous job site, but he called and notified me 15 minutes before our appt. time. He was able to stop by without me being home and leave the estimate for me. When I called back to schedule the work, they were able to work me into the schedule within several days so the walk would be completed before my husband's parents arrived for a visit from Texas. The sidewalk looks great, and we can now get up and down easily off the front porch.

I called A-1 over the weekend to have them come out and give me an estimate. They called me Monday morning and set up the estimate for the same day. The estimator called me back and told me the price. I had them come out on that Thursday to complete the work. I was at work when they came and did the job. I got home and the walkway was in alignment and level. They did a fantastic job and no mess.

I was very skeptical about this process, but 2 different concrete contractors suggested trying it. I called for an estimate. They did not show up for the estimate until several days after promised. However the work crew showed on time and were finished in about 2 hours. Everything was leveled up to the original height They cleaned up the site very well.

It went well. The work was started late in the day so final inspection of the work could not be completed due to the lack of daylight. Upon inspection the next day, the job was acceptable.

Overall we are pleased with A-1 Concrete's job. Do note though that they will use your electricity and water to complete the job. There are also holes drilled in the concrete in order to inject the filler needed to raise and level the concrete. The holes are patched but are a different color from the original concrete. If you hire A-1, be sure to let them know you are an Angie's List member for a discount.

We were very happy with the work. We had something that they didn't finish properly so we called them and they came and fixed the problem immediately. They were hard workers and did the job right.

I first contacted A-1 in April of this year.The work I needed was to completely replace the apron to my driveway and possibly the adjoining sidewalk. A gentleman came looked at the job and provided me with an estimate of $2000. I called and agreed to pay the price in full. A contract was sent to me, I signed it and faxed it back. A week went by and I did not receive any confirmation. At this point, I called them. The lady I talked to said they have in fact received the signed contract, however, "Paul" had broken his arm. I told them I would wait until he was able to perform the work. Well, needless to say no one called me back--ever. I called toward the end of August and asked if I could get some kind of timeframe for the work to be done. The same lady I had talked to previously said that I would be contacted. I waited another week. By this time, I was fedup! I returned to Angie's List and located another company. The work was done within 4 days at a cheaper rate with additions to my original request. I will NEVER recommend or try to do business with A-1 again.

They arrived after lunch (was promised in the afternoon) and were completed by 3:00 pm. They were quick and courteous. They explained what they could do and not do. They were not able to completely level the front walk, but it is remarkably better. We are pleased with the results.

They did a good job, for what they could do. I did think their price was a little high.
