They did an excellent job ab nd I have no complaints.

All work was performed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.

Arrived on schedule, did work promptly, very pleased. Guaranteed for 36 months. Better than replacement I believe.

They arrived promptly and went right to work.They knew what they were doing and were gone in a little over an hour. They cleaned up any spilled concrete.

Had a tree on the corner of my walkway that created the concrete walkway to rise. I called A-1 Concrete at the suggestion of another Angies list service provider. I called about two weeks ago for a free estimate . I thought the price was fair, plus I had a Angies List coupon for their service. They came on time today. Ben and P.J. were very polite. They answered all my questions about the process They cleaned up after the process was finished. The walkway looks great.

I contacted this provider to do some slab jacking work at a house I own in Columbus, OH. They went out and looked at the property and never contacted me. Two weeks later, i called them and they emailed me an "estimate". On the attached PDF, which was on their standard letterhead for estimates, the words "Can't Help" were printed; nothing else was filled out. I replied to the email and spoke to the receptionist and asked what "Can't Help" means. She was very nice and gave me the cell phone number for the sales rep. She also said she would forward my email on and ask them to reply to let me know what "can't help" meant and possibly recommend someone else to do the work. Or at least recommend what alternatives I had. I left two voicemails on his number and never was contacted again. Extremely unprofessional company and wasted a lot of my time.

They were very courteous and professional - on time and did a great job. They worked for 3 hours and cleaned up after themselves. The driveway and walk look brand new. We couldn't ask for better service.

The two employees from A-1 were very professional and arrived to correct my problem. They went over and above to make a few adjustments to my driveway. I would always call them first on any of my concrete needs. A first class company.

They showed up around 8:15 A.M. the day of the appointment. Reviewed the situation and got right to work. They brought the slab up to it's original position. They patched the holes with something that set up in about an hour. I then could start re-laying the carpet and putting the rooms back together. They cleaned up pretty good and were done in about an hour and a half.

i had an architect look at floor and he raised the issue of the leveling contractor putting pressure on the concrete block wall.the contractor guaranteed he would raise the floor without putting stress on the block wall and i took picturesof the wall before and after and there were no cracks in the wall

I chose this company based upon price. The quote process was straightforward, and the work was performed on the scheduled day and they were on time. Our sidewalk had settled in one square, I assume due to settling around the gas line after the house was built. Our house is about 15 years old but this area of our sidewalk has been an annoyance since we moved in. I thought the price was very steep for the work completed and the time it took. However, they are clear up front about the minimum cost as I'm sure the trucks, insurance, gas, and labor is expensive, it just seems like a lot for 1/2 hour of work. The did a great job.

We could not be more pleased. We decided to take responsibility for repairing our sidewalk so that we could save the tree that had caused the sidewalk to raise in one spot (the city would remove the tree if they did the repair through their contractor). The work was completed on the day scheduled and you can't tell that a repair has been done except that the problem has been corrected. No waiting for concrete to dry/cure -- no different color sidewalk panels -- no grass killed around the repair -- no mess! We simply do not understand why the city does not use them for this non-destructive type of repair.

These guys did a great job, came when they said they would, and leveled the concrete just as I had hoped. Very satisfied.

Requested estimate. Chose another company due to price for services.

I was told that they were not currently pouring concrete due to the weather but they would call me the next Monday to set up sn appointment to look at the project. They didn't call so I called them back a week and a half later. The girl said again that they were not currently pouring concrete due to the weather. I said that I understood that but still wanted to set something up for someone to come look at it and give me an estimate. I described the project and location again and was told that my project didn't seem to be large enough as they don't do anything less than $2000! I thanked her for my losing over two weeks to find out they wouldn't do my project. I've never heard of a limit like that before! Very disappointed.

It went very well. They were here when they were supposed to be, and the jobs were finished when expected.

I decided to refrain from writing this review until my anger subsided. It's now well over a year and I'm still angry. The crew arrived as promised and got to work. They kept telling me how great they were and what rave reviews they always got. They did the work on the garage and then they leveled the back steps. They had brought several bags of topsoil to fill in around gaps in the areas they leveled. They even asked me if I wanted to keep the last unused bag, since they said it was included in the price anyway. That's when my neighbor came over and started talking with the crew about doing work at his place. They never suggested that I inspect the work before they left, but they said that I should call them if I wasn't 100% satisfied. Once I looked over what they had done, I wasn't 100% satisfied. They left a gap of approximately one inch between the wall and the steps in front of the kitchen door. They failed to fill in a large gap under the apron in front of the garage. I was able to fill that in myself later, but I needed to have concrete fill put in the gap in front of the kitchen steps, so I called the office and was told they didn't handle this kind of thing, but I should call the salesman. I tried several times with no success to reach him. Finally, I called him on his cell phone shortly after 8:00 a.m. a few days later, and he was obviously annoyed and told me I should call the office. When I told him it was the office who told me to call him, and I expected my concerns to be addressed, he became very rude and told me I had "no business" talking to him that way. I was exasperated, but I was not rude. I told him I expected someone out there to fix the problem. Eventually the crew came back and fixed the steps. But with this kind of customer "service" I would never use them again. Unfortunately, there are very few companies out there that do this kind of repair, so options are limited.

Initially, I was stunned at the cost estimate - but when I saw what they actually did, and the amount of work and materials required, I realized the price was fair. They started the work later than originally planned, which created some scheduling conflicts for me (with landscapers, etc.), but in the end it all worked out. Their crew was great, and they did an excellent job. I'm very happy every time I drive into the garage - what a difference!

Very informative. I felt they were very honest and not just in it for a sale.

I submitted request, including photos, using form on their web site. Received phone call from office within 24 hours asking for more detail. Was told an estimator would call to schedule a time to come out. Estimator called a couple of days later and came out the same week at my convenience. Work was scheduled and completed 10 days later. Could not have been more happy with the work and service. Sidewalk now looks like it did when house was built with very minimal signs of repair. I had contact with 4 different employees and all were friendly, professional, and performed their part of the service in a timely manner as promised. Would definitely use A-1 again. Recommend highly both quality of work and service.
