It was a complete disaster as Art Collins is not a licensed general contractor nor does have licensed sub-contractors and did not disclose that to the medical company that hired him. The medical office renovation was incomplete resulting in loss of revenue and rescheduling of multiple patients. The work that was done was found to be in violation of fire codes and would not have passed inspection. He does not have knowledge of what requires electrical or plumbing permits and he was paid for supplies that were not delivered [counter tops, lighting fixtures, paint, etc]. He did not pay any of his workers, but had received 2 of the 3 payments. He is not familar with zoning laws and state laws/regulations regarding work permits. He presents himself as a general contractor, but does not have a license to be one. He takes no accountability for his actions, lies and threatens to place a mechanic's lien despite the fact that he was being paid during the project. He has been reported to the Better Business Bureau as well as to the attorney general's office.
Description of Work: Did not complete medical office renovations, did not submit work permits with township, did not disclose that he did not have a general contractor's license nor did any of his 'sub-contractors' have required electrical and plumbing licenses, did not submit required design plans that had to be stamped, was often absent leaving his employees without direction and had not paid any of his workers despite getting 2 of the 3 payments.

I hired to do toilet repair, vanity replacement, flooring, cabinet replacement. Toilet never fixed. Cabinet installed was a kitchen cabinet, not bathroom cabinet, so you hit your head on it when you sat on the toilet. I bought another cabinet, they damaged it and didn't hang it. Scratched the new floor they installed. They did put in new toilet, but wrong size and door would not shut, so had them remove. Then he claims he fixed the old and it leaked a lot.
Description of Work: Remove toilet, lay new bathroom flooring, remove/replace vanity and sink and attached shower handrail.
