This Company does not service Bay Village, OH (which is within the service area indicated in their profile). The individual I spoke with indicated they did not register with the city of Bay Village this year (i.e., pay the fee and provide credentials). However, the representative did provide referrals to two competitors - Independence Fencing and Great Lakes Fencing. I recommend they update their profile and/or consider registering with cities as a cost of doing business in the future.

Brian and his crew were BEYOND professional and an absolute pleasure to deal with. When making such a big investment you want to know that you are in good hands. I honestly feel that they go beyond that. You won't find a better class of people. The quality and workmanship are beyond expectations. You can see in every aspect from design to installation that they take great pride in the work that they do and even the smallest details were thought of and attended to. I would and will recommend them to anyone.

The installers were very friendly and answered all the questions we had. The work turned out very nice.

we did not use this company under the name of Columbia Fence. At that time they were operating umder the name of Dynasty Fence (same address and under the same name of ownership). The contract states that there was to be a limited warranty on certain parts of the wooden structure. For over three years we have tried to contact them to view the problems that are occurring with the wooden posts and bottom of the fence. Once it is determined who we are and that it is from a previous install, there is no response. Appointments have been made and never kept with no explanation. How easy it was to change the name and not stand behind the product.

I woke up and drove 30 minutes out to the house we bought to meet for a fencing estimate (between 9-10 per Brian). I arrived 15 minutes early in case they were to arrive ahead of schedule. I sat there until 10:20 when Brian finally called to tell me he had paperwork and wouldn't make it out and would need to reschedule. I don't think that will happen, as obviously my time is not valuable to this company. Instead we will give our several thousand dollars worth of fencing to one of the companies that showed up…..when they said they would. I am highly disappointed, and had the phone call came at 9 o'clock to give me a heads up that he wasn't going to make it, I would have happily rescheduled. It was the fact I sat there and they did not have the courtesy to call until after the appointment time had already came and gone.

I am very pleased with the work done by Brian and his crew. The completely removed all of the post from the old chain link fence rather than just cutting them below the surface. Brian recommended to scallop the top of the fence and it looks fantastic. My yard has been completely transformed with the new fence. They did a great job and worked quickly and efficiently. I couldn't be happier with the work done.

looks great, Brian not only gave us an estimate for the work, but he was also the only one of 4 requested estimates that actually made suggestions to us about fence styles and options. Their estimate was very fair and even with the extreme cold and snow they installed the fence within 2 weeks of us agreeing to the contract. The fence looks great, the workmanship is excellent and the yard was cleaned up afterwards. I would use Columbia Fence again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for fence work.

Brian was extremely professional and does excellent work. I purchased a new home and needed the fence installed for the dogs prior to move in. He was able to accomodate. He and his crew showed up on time and had the job done in 1.5 days. I would highly recommend them and definitely use them again for my fencing needs.

Fantastic. Brian was very professional, and visited multiple times before construction even began to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. They built the gates themselves, which seem incredibly sturdy and well made. The whole project was done in 3 days, even though they had other projects going on at the same time. Great work, will definitely use in the future.

I called Columbia Fence for an estimate on fencing for my yard. We scheduled an appt for lunch time this past friday. He said between 12pm-1pm because he would be in the area and would come over on his lunch. Well as myself, my two children, my sister, two nephews and my mother WAITED for him to show up (as we were planning to go to lunch after) the guy DID NOT show up!!!!! No call, nothing. What a waste of ALL of our time. I would not recommend this unprofessional company!

The entire experience with Columbia Fence was excellent. We sought three quotes for work to replace a portion of our backyard fence. This portion of the fence is visible from the street and includes a gate. Brian came out at the scheduled time to speak with us and quote. He listened to our concerns and gave us ideas and suggested options. We decided to go with Columbia even though they were slightly higher due to Brian's professionalism and ability to timely perform the job. Columbia handled the permit process and contacted the utility companies for marking. Columbia arrived on time and the crew (at least 4) replaced the fence and installed the gate. Brian was there to supervise and made sure we were satisfied with the work before being paid. Although our job was not huge, we always had the impression we were valued customers.

They were very quick and fenced in 3 1/2 acres in four days. I had quotes from three other companies and they were about $6000 cheaper then all of them. The work they did was very high quality.

Columbia Fence is fair, honest and professional. We highly recommend this company. Prior to getting estimates, we measured the back yard to get an idea how much fencing would be needed. Brian's measurements were spot on with ours, while another company (one of the largest and best known) overshot the measurements and, of course, gave a higher estimate. We appreciate Brian's business and work ethic, and are very pleased with our good looking and well built fence.

They stand behind all their work. They were very pleasant, cleaned up their mess, and it looks very nice.

This was my best experience ever with a fence company! Brian and his crew were courteous, efficient and quite skilled. Additionally, the cost for the job was a few thousand dollars less than the company that I dealt with in the past. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I did a lot of research and pricing searches when I came across an ad in a local shopper magazine for Columbia Fence. I called and spoke to Brian who made an appointment to come out and measure and give me a price. He got back to me the next day with a price which was considerably lower than anyone I had checked prior to him. But it was not the price that got me, it was the sense I got from talking to Brian that he was a guy that truly cared about the quality of his work and his reputation. You don't find that much anymore. He is a small business owner that actually comes out to the job and stays and works alongside his crew. Sometimes a lower price is not a bargain, but in his case, it so is. He does great work, with great quality materials, not to mention how sturdy and solid this fence is. It is beautiful and truly transformed my back yard. He hand cuts the scallops at the top once the fence is installed (if that is what you would choose) and he actually uses a level and cord to make sure that both the fence and the posts are straight. I was quite impressed with the work ethic of Brian and his crew, not to mention how pleasant they were while at my house. They were very respectful of my property, took down the fence and hauled it all away, and made sure they cleaned up behind themselves before they left. My neighbor had a fence put in last year and really regrets not knowing about Columbia Fence when he did his. He has compared our two fences and has told me that the quality of mine is so superior to his and I have to agree. He also paid more than I did. This was all done in 3 weeks time from when he came out to when the job was completed. I am truly happy with my fence.

Brian, the hard working owner of Columbia Fence, is an outstanding example of how to be a successful small business man. We had him stop by and give us a quote on our fencing. He invited us to stop by his showroom off Rte. 82 to see the different types of fence he offers. As scheduled, he and his crew showed up on Friday morning, and completed the job on Saturday. It looked great. So great in fact, we called him to come back and extend it another 24 feet. On this short notice, Brian had his crew there the following Monday to set the posts, and finished up after another job on Thursday. Brian and his crew are very knowledgeable and professional about fencing and installation. We highly recommend Columbia Fence.

Brian came out to do an estimate, and 10 days later our fencing was complete. The job took just 1 1/2 days to complete, and the construction and appearance are well done.

They showed up when they said they would and completed the job on time and at the quoted price. They cleaned up the work site and everyone was friendly and professional.

From the quote to the finish of the project, Brian, the owner was very professional, very educated on his product and very courteous. He and his crew were there when promised barring any extreme weather conditions. I really liked the fact that Brian, the owner was on the job himself actually doing the work and not just subcontracted out to someone else. He takes a lot of pride in his work and the finished product shows it. They cleaned up loose dirt, grass or concrete from around each 4x4 post and left everything in tip top shape. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for not only a fence but for a good job of installing a fence.

The fence was installed last June 5, 2006. They were late getting to my house in the morning and I was late for work. When I got home that evening I noticed the space between the posts where the gate was to go, was a foot too short. It was clearly marked as 4 feet on the work order. When I called I spoke with Brian, one of the owners, and he said he had just finished making the gate (for the small size opening) and that they would install it and come out later to correct it. I said no, I would prefer they do it correctly when they came the next day to finish the fence. That correction was made and I paid them in full as agreed. When looking the fence over better, I noticed a vertical board on one of the panels wasn't nailed down on the lower section. Also, the gate has a warped look to it and several of the bolts in it are sticking out dangerously far. After 7 requests and 3 no shows my fence has never been fixed, nor have they ever called me back.
