Benedict Roofing was established three generations ago by Joseph Benedict I, on 25th & Denison in Cleveland Ohio. Columbia Station became the new home of Benedict Roofing when the second generation Joseph Benedict II continued the tradition of quality roofing. Today, brothers Bob Benedict and Chris Benedict are the third generation in the Benedict Roofing legacy. They continue to serve Northeast Ohio and continue giving their costumers the same high quality standards as their father and grandfather. Benedict Roofing has the highest quality standards. You know that every roof will be done right because Bob Benedict and Chris Benedict are always on the job working along side their crews. Benedict Roofing does not subcontract any of their work – never have and never will. Every roof by Benedict Roofing is personally hand-nailed by one of the owners. The same way it has been done for over sixty years. We use real nails and we hand-nail every one of them. This is to insure that every shingle is correctly aligned and secured to your roof. The difference can be clearly seen on a windy day. Benedict Roofing knows that a great looking yard is just as important as a great looking roof. We treat your landscaping with the highest regard. Description of Work: Replaced my steel chimney on my roof. Chris Benedict came out and looked at the chimney and gave me an estimate of $800.00 and stated was not sure of exact cost of the chimney. I used Chris on my first house and the house I live in now for a complete reroofing on both. Was very very happy with his work and clean up afterwards on both. So I called Chris for advise on who could replace my chimney. It had rotted out and squirrels were getting in. I told him no one touches my roof unless it goes through him! He said he could do it the following weekend once the chimney came in. Chris showed up as he said he would and removed old chimney and installed the new one. Not only did he do that but removed the rust stained shingles around the chimney. He said he removed the stained shingles because he said it just didn't look right stained. I couldn't believe that. Not only that but when I was more than happy to pay him his 800.00 he said no 600.00 was enough because the chimney was less than what he thought. My jaw dropped! How many contractors do that in this day and age? Benedict roofing in my experience is outstanding and always recommend them to anyone in need of a roof,gutters etc.

Description of Work: Tear off and new lifetime shingles. Bob is timely, efficient, trustworthy and they did an excellent job with installation and clean up. We have used him in the past and his customer service is exceptional. Would highly recommend!

Description of Work: Put on a new roof comprised of a double tear-off, repaired rotten parts of the roof and added gutter guard inserts as well as painted part of my porch overhang. My roof was leaking during the winter and Bob Benedict made sure the roof covering was properly secured until he could do the work. He came after it snowed to sweep the snow off the covered area to ensure there would be no chance of melting snow leaking through and causing further damage to my ceiling. At the start of tear off we experienced a massive storm that not even the weathermen expected, with tornado warnings, lighting and more rain than I have ever experienced. Mr. Benedict came out and climbed onto the roof during the storm to make sure the roof coverings were secure. My experience with Bob Benedict and his employees was very favorable and I would not hesitate to recommend Benedict Roofing.

Description of Work: Took awhile to get a phone response, because he was on vacation. But when I reached him, he was there the same day. In May 2013, Chris Benedict (one of 2 brother/owners) replaced 2 soil pipe flanges that were leaking for $100. Stopped the leaks and price was much lower than $250 quoted by another. In June he returned to completely rebuild our chimney and wrap it with Tyvek. Waterproofing was extended on to roof and rotted boards replaced. All leaks ceased. He was professional, courteous, quiet, speedy, thorough, precise and neat. When the entire roof needs replacing, Chris Benedict will be my choice.
