Not well these guys took forever to get proper approval didn’t tell us when they were showing up or coming back to do a rough grade. That’s when they destroyed my invisible dog fence. Even though it was marked they ran it over and destroyed it then refused to make it right and attempt to fix it. Don’t use these guys find someone else.

I contacted Jim at Summit Excavating repeatedly asking him to come to my property and give me a quote. After three weeks of repeated calls, Jim finally stopped by, gave me a verbal quote, promised to come the next week, and then disappeared again. After two more weeks of calls to his receptionist, who told me "Jim is in the field, we never give out his number", I've finally given up on this company. I can only imagine how responsive they will be once they have your money. Look elsewhere. Find a company that will give you even the bare minimum when it comes to professional courtesy.

I set up an appointment for 6/26/15 a week in advance. I call Thursday to confirm the appointment but he couldn't make it. I said no problem but I need you to look at my septic. We set another appointment for the week after for him come over Wednesday or Thursday. I call them again Thursday and he just couldn't make it again said he had a "meeting" run over but couldn't call me to let me know (thanks!). Then they told me to call back on Monday to set up another appointment. (He probably would have missed that appointment too! I will never recommend or ever use them! I hope If you decide use them they at least show up or call you in advance and let you know they can't make it.

I was really happy with them. They did a great job and they were real reasonable. It's been fine since they fixed it. They're honest. They'll come out and fix the problem rather than try to sell you a whole new system. They were very timely and did a good job.

I had my septic tank fail and needed a new system. I found Summit Excavating to be very satisfactory. I was very upset by the fact that my yard had to be torn up and that I have to wait until mid summer before I can have grass planted (the refilled holes need that long to settle). But that is not any fault with Summit Excavating - that is just the "nature of the beast" so to speak. This would be true of any company completing the job. One great thing - Summit Excavating will come back out mid summer and regrade the yard making it even. It is my understanding that most companies do not do this. I believe that the cost of my new system was very reasonable as well.

After coming out in August to look at the job, Jim Eastereling (who I was impressed with at the timeand quot; said he would be back in two weeks to give an estimate. I called after 3 weeks, and they said it would be another two weeks. This went on for at least a few months, me calling and them putting me off. I finally called in October and told the receptionist that I wanted to know one way or another if they ever planned on coming out. She said she would talk with Jim. I said and quot;will one of you call me back today to let me know?and quot; She said and quot;Absolutelyand quot;. That was a month ago.

On time, did what they needed to do. Nice to deal with.

Summit Excavating did a great job getting both my personal system and one at a rental home I own repaired. I had been told over the phone by other companies that full replacement was my only option, but Jim came out and looked at both systems within a day (In the case of the rental house he made it out within 20 minutes of my call, which was at 6:30pm on a Friday) and explained that each could be repaired and they were very quick to complete the repairs. I saved several thousand dollars by using them and both systems are working flawlessly. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and took the time to explain what needed done and why. This is a family run local business and it shows. I will be calling them for any septic issues I may encounter in the future.

I needed a replacement sewer line from the house to the septic system last fall. I called Summit because I have always used them and they installed my septic system years ago, and I have never had a problem or any issue with it. They usually will leave dirt piled up so that it can settle and this was causing me a problem mowing the back yard. I called Marie and she sent a backhoe out and they graded my land over the pipe at no extra charge. This was what I call above and beyond the call of duty. Do not have any doubts about using Summit for any septic issues. They pump my tanks too and always do a professional job.

I was not happy with them. It took a long time to get the inspection back from him. I had to make a couple of phone calls and he didn't look up to see what kind of septic was installed. He said he couldn't find that information and we had another company find it right away. He was a nice guy. They didn't do the work they should have done before they came out, finding out what kind of septic tank it was. The price was pretty much what everybody charges.

We had to have our septic tank replaced and called Summit Excavating Inc. They installed a 1 thousand gallon tank next to the old one. They were in and out within 3 hours time. They did a good job.

The line to the sewer was completely blocked and collapsed. I called Summit as soon as they opened that morning and one of the owners came to my house within an hour. The estimate was between 400 and 800 depending on what they found and how much line needed to be replaced. They were there with their equipment by mid morning and the job was complete by mid afternoon.This was a much bigger job than I thought and all the line was replaced. The bill was $500 which was much lower than I expected. Their workers were courteous and professional and I couldn't be happier with the work. I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

After only a few weeks, several extremely large muddy areas developed, which then extended into what could only be called 'ponds' or large, water-filled, muddy sinkholes. More than three vehicles became stuck (passenger cars to trucks), where tow trucks had to be used to pull them free in one week alone. Contractors were not able to access the home to continue working, so construction came to a halt. The VP of the company has been contacted several times, and during the last conversation was rude and unprofessional, even raising his voice to both myself and my elderly father, and his only suggestion would be for him to repeat the work and fix the driveway, at FULL cost to me, AGAIN. He assumes no responsibility for the poor workmanship. I have seen his level of quality once, and it would be ridiculous to have him repeat it. We were left with a driveway that was not able to be used for the intended purpose, as well as a significant delay in the construction of our new home.
