Ferris Surveying

Mr. Ferris did an excellent job surveying my property in order to have the information needed to build a fence. He marked the corners of the property and midpoints and provided a map. Very reliable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend.

He is unresponsive. Promised to do the survey. He even quoted a price but never showed up to do the job. I certainly would not recommend him to anyone

I requested a quote and Mr.Ferris was very quick to respond. I had to wait a couple of months for him to come out, since I did call at a busy time, but it was well worth it. Mr.Ferris's communication is excellent. I cannot tell you how nice it is to have someone call you back when they say they will. The survey was done quickly and professionally. I needed the survey for a fence. He found the two back markers, which were buried, he offered to mark off the middle of the property where the fence would start (to which I happily agreed to), and installed markers at the front of the property. Mr. Ferris was even kind enough to expedite the drawing so the fencing company could apply for a permit right away. He even called to tell me it had been mailed. It arrived right on time. He did all of this for an extremely reasonable price. Thank you, Mr. Ferris! I'll happily recommend you to anyone who needs a survey done.

I got a quick response to my request for a quote. He was able to fit me in quickly just because things worked out. He was on site when he said he would be and finished in less time than he had estimated. When I explained why we were getting the survey done, he added a couple of extra markers to help with the work that was being done later. I requested information from 3 different surveyors. He was the first to respond. The second to respond directed me to the website where the pricing information did not match what was in the email that was sent. The third surveyor never responded. Definitely would recommend Ferris.

I didn't need a formal survey, just wanted the property markers uncovered. Other surveyors I contacted didn't want to bother with such a small job, but Ferris Surveying agreed to come out on a day he was doing another job in the area. He stressed that there were no guarantees like you would get with a formal survey. He is honest and easy to work with. Charged a reasonable $100.

Ron came out and put stakes in the ground as promised. We wanted the property re surveyed at our 50 yr old home for applying new grass seed and to finish landscaping. Ron discussed it with my wife once he was done stating the original official stakes had once been moved. The new wooden stakes he put in the ground seemed incorrect and west by almost a foot which now deemed that a hedge planted by the original neighbor was now on my property.Once home I disagreed with where the stakes were placed. It all seemed so strange but we paid cash and felt we had no recourse. This will be chalked up as a ‘careful what you wish for’ scenario. Nice enough guy, everything is official now so it would be hard to argue my case unless I pay the expense to have another surveyor come out.

Made an appointment a month in advance, contacted me at designated time, came out, got it done, quick, easy, and pain free. Cost was $520 - Much better price than competitors contacted. Highly recommend Ron Ferris!

Ron is a GREAT surveyor!!! Excellent communication before appointment, showed up on time and spend quality time locating and marking original markers. Proper report was provided after the survey and the service fee was very competitive. On a side note Ron is has a great personality and a try gentleman. Highly recommend if you look to do a proper survey.

Ron did a great job! I would hire him again . He was prompt, professional, and the survey was completed perfectly.

I called and left a message and Mr. Ferris called me back within an hour to get some details on the property locations and what we were looking to do. He promised to get back to me by the end of the day with an estimate. He called back by 5:00 the same day and based on the property descriptions and property pictures (Google Earth) provided an estimate between $950.00 to $1500.00 for the 3 properties. The higher cost as based on the fact that I could not tell him if any of the original survey pins on the properties were intact. After consulting the neighbors we agreed to have him come out and scheduled a time for the following Tuesday. Mr. Ferris called on Tuesday morning gave me an estimate of his arrival and was on site by about 8:00am. After a quick tour of the properties, Mr. Ferris set to work, located the survey pins in the front yards and was done with all three properties by 2:30 that afternoon. His work included locating the front yard survey pins, replacing one that had been removed and never replaced, and placing new survey pins at the back corners of all three properties. He also gave us midpoint markers on our property lines to make setting fences easier. Total cost for all three properties was the lower quoted price of 950.00. Throughout, Mr. Ferris was extremely professional and clearly knew what he was doing. He was friendly, took the time to walk us through the job when he was done and was very courteous - altogether a complete professional.

Found Ferris Survey on Angie's list. Contacted him and he returned phone call promptly. Even though he was quite busy in summer, He managed to fit our job in to his schedule so we could have the survey done in time for fence paperwork and installation. He was on time, professional. We also thought his price is fair after call around several other surveyers. All went well.

The provider kept in contact from the time I contacted him up to the time he arrived. He arrived a little before the scheduled time. He explained everything he was doing. He finished in a timely manner. The project came in under budget.

It was so easy working with Ron. I called him to set up an appointment, he came the day he said he would, and he was on time. He was extremely thorough. He spent over three hours surveying the property, which first needed some clearing along the fringes so he could set the surveying pins. He then set the pins in the ground, marked them clearly with pink fluorescent paint, and then tied a pink ribbon and stretched it up to make the marked point even bigger from far away. He I had also asked that he put in some intermediate markers and those were clearly marked with paint and ribbon as well. I had no problem with the cost of his services: He is a licensed Professional Surveyor and provides a clear and detailed survey plat. All in all, he did a really good job and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again - or recommend him highly to a prospective client.

Ron called and set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment, he was prompt and shared with me all of the information on our property that he was able to obtain from the county office. Next he searched the property for corner pins and proceeded to make measurements from the exiting pins. He verified this field information against the county records. Since we told him that we were having a fence installed, he explained that for an additional fee, he would provide a retracement survey plat drawing of the entire property. This proved to be a wise investment, since a copy of this drawing could be used to obtain the fence permit from the city. Ron was kind, courteous and hard-working. I would highly recommend his services.

We were very satisfied with him. We were happy with him. I don't know how he charged. He just gave us an estimate and we paid it. He was prompt. He did what he said. He seemed reliable. He explained everything. I didn't think the charge was too bad or anything. I would give him an excellent.

He was friendly, prompt and arrived on time and prepared to do the job. He did an excellent job, marking clearly the boundaries, which will provide the fencing contractor with easy site lines so that the contractor can place fence. Is extremely professional, and return our official drawings to us within 48 hours. I would highly recommend the use of Mr. Faris in the future

The survey went great! Ron did an excellent job surveying our acre lot. He was on time, and answered all our questions as we walked around the parameter.
